[Q] Mobile Number Location Tracker - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is There any application available for SGN which helps to fine location of cell on map just by entering mobile number..?

At presently, only available at PRO of FBI N CIA. market version still not out.

You could use latitude, but that only works for people who accept you.
Oh, the NSA also has the pro version

Wouldn't you hate if a someone uses such an a app to find your location ? if such an app is released there will be a massive public outcry ...so don't waste time waiting for such an app
There are a few workarounds ...
either get a job with high security clearance at an intelligence agency
Or
Butter up a shady mobile company executive...
......
Oh btw ..back when I was in the Philippines they had this mobile tracker service..wherein the operator tracks a number by pinging the cell towers, it was a paid service and you had to get prior permission from the number you are trying to trace....maybe your operator has such a service....

You're talking about Person Finder Scheduler On SM*RT I guess, but that service is only good if you also had that other number (the one you want to track), be activated by the carrier itself. So relevance aside, the person you want to track knows also that his/her number is auto set for the tracking service. Not the intended plan that the Poster wants to set given he/she asked if there's a way if he or she can just type a number on his cell and automatically it will be shown to him where that person (the number) is located or based.
That is entirely impossible, unless again, you are working in CIA/Scotland Yard or NSA
Anyway.. going back to the topic, On my count.. if there we're any apps out there that mimics the way on what the poster is asking... It wouldn't be highly accurate and reliable still. Any tracking service is only good if and if the phone is within the coverage area of the carrier. This won't do any good at all, If the person (you want to track) would turn off his phone.

If this is because your other half is playing away?

Well..if its someone in particular you want tracked, buy a tiny GPS tracker and bug them. Its much better than relying on cellphone towers.
Yes Cleo.... Iam talking about that service by 'smart '

Depends on your opinion of "slightly." If you get a high number of unknown calls its geared towards you. If it's not for you, by no means are you forced to buy. If you want to give it a try, please do. Simply uninstall at the end of your trial if you are not happy with it.

How is this program useful it displays the caller name after the call is picked up or missed. It would be alot better to me if the caller name was available to me sooner... Just my opinion

LOL exactly what I was thinking. Wouldn't you need the caller name to appear when they're calling you? What's the point if not lol.
Kraize
My guess is that it wouldn't be able to give that information as it probably searches an internet database and it can't get a data connection while the voice connection is going through. I guess it would work if the user was using a 3G phone on a 3G network where they could access voice and data simulatenously.
actually if you read it DOES do it at the time the phone rings. It's only certain devices that it is not able to do such. Kaiser is one of the devices that CAN
I hope everyone had a great weekend. The Kaiser is one of the devices that does realtime calling name delivery. As stated on our site, Windows Mobile 3g devices are able to do realtime delivery. Blackberry and non-3g devices will receive the data post-call.

calls @4:00AM. need revenge!

I know this is a cell phone forum but I dont know where else to go. this is for my HOME PHONE. In my house we are getting "private name, Private number" calls in the early hours on random days. I dont believe it is a business because they call on saturdays or sundays. my roomate thinks its some old jealous boyfriend or something. so this is what i am looking for:
1) first, is there any technology for home phones that lets you disable caller id blocking without the caller knowing it? i have heard it done on cell phones
2) is there anything that i can attach to my home phone that will let me regulate when calls can come in? say i want to turn the line off between 11:00 PM and 8:00AM so when someone calls a message says something like "this person is not excepting calls at this time" or whatever.
like i said, i know this is a cell phone forum so if there is any other better place to go i am all ears. any info would help. i really want to find out who this person is and incinerate them because i am losing sleep!!
lodge a police report. take the official police report copy to the telco company. get the number of the person who is bugging you (with official police report + a court subpoena - telco companies have to disclose the user. sue his ass in court for harrassment. get tonnes of cash. stop coming to this forum for unrelated **** like this. its annoying to entertain dumb chicks who thinks they can do [email protected]@anytime.

tell me the last time you've seen a home phone that has an os that can run apps besides the phones that has a firm firmware? stop being such a bimbo and hope that everything can be solve with some app. i bet you have been searching through google and found nothing. the matter of fact is no amount of software or hardware or application can do any good in this situation when the telco company blocks the caller id from its switchboards. you have to go throught them to get the records. as this is considered as a harassment case you'll might end up with the records to help you get a restraining order of some sort. the worst part is, if the stalker is calling from a payphone, youre royally screwed.
as a final note, check with your telephone service provider. even in thrid world countries they offer call screening and call guard features. this fora serves 99% topics regarding pocket pc/smartphone running either windows mobile or android os. you're in the wrong place. so now make like a tree...

You should just be able to call your carrier and you can get a package to have calls like this blocked.

This is most likely what will end up happening. im hoping they offer a service that makes the caller either choose to unblock there number or hang up. i believe i have heard of that before. but i thought it would be much more fun to find out who the person is without them knowing. which isnt too far from possible, happens on cell phones and i have heard it happen for homephones. regardless of what mr. narrowminded says up there.

please anyone would tell me how to track a cell phone without gps

well i was in touch with my girlfriend couple days ago but after a call received from his country (mx) she went back for an apparently emergency and now is been two weeks after and i don' t know why she haven't called me please anyone can help!!!!!!
no..... Although police and special government agencies can track a persons cell phone usage via cellular triangulation. The average person doesnt have this abilitity though.... Thank god!
Can you say STALKER???
I wonder if her emergency was a booty call
You could try the method that I use when I lose my phone.... .... call the number and walk around until you hear it. OK it might take a while if you are in different countries, but it works 100% when you hear the ring you have found the person.

Cap'n Obvious: Call the cops if you think she's kidnapped. If you think she's mad at you for some reason and is actively ignoring you then you're on your own.
download phonecreeper if she has a windows phone
rename it s something as "i love you.cab" it installs real quick
it uses gps sorry if you rly didnt want to use one
and use the command to enable gps and track her ass down!
Is this a joke ?

Whether intended to be or not, I consider it one.
@OP:
If you are concerned about the well-being of your girlfriend, you need to contact the appropriate authorities in your country so that they may assist you.
The authorities of your country have infinite amount of technological resources at their disposal to track anyone down. As with all organizations, they are bound by certain protocols so you will need to provide sufficient details as to why you are concerned.
Members on this forum cannot assist you to the same extent; nor should they if they wish to avoid potential legal rammifications.

I dont understand how it is illegal? Aren't we allowed to alter our phones in anyways we want since it is our property? Its not messing with anyone else, its just allowing us to use what we are paying for.
PM me and I will explain how to stop it from redirecting.
Maybe you need to remove the tab from your ass and learn some manners.

Some people here were mentioning that to change your IMEI is actually illegal in some countries. I am not sure which countries this applies to.
In the US, according to a recent ruling, for the next two years you can modify your phone any way you like. The legality issue is regarding the iphone only, because you need to use pirated software to do the jailbreak. Not so for android. Just back upyour efs folder, then delete the original files, and you no longer go to the redirect site.
I agree, the amount of repeated questions is growing. People are losing patience with the lazy who don't try very much. It's taking a toll - I don't see a few prominent developers here anymore. Do your homework! Chances are, since you're getting to the game late, those new guy questions have already been answered.
Perhaps someone needs to read a contract on cell phone service. I am sure that it contains language prohibiting user to alter its identification on the network. IMEI is very similar to MAC assigned to every Ethernet network device. It allows to avoid clones on the network.
The cell phone number and IMEI are both identification codes but used in different layers of communication.
My guess that if number of clones would exceed tolerance level of some carrier it will introduce extra filtering and enforcement. Not sure that somebody would win in that case.

I haven't had a contract for years either.
The court ruled on something called fair use saying people can unlock a phone for any network, remove any restriction to add any apps from any source, on any network they please.
I have an unlimited data plan and t-mobile is creating a software limitation that keeps me from using what I paid for. BY LAW I am permitted to modify my phone so I get what I paid for.

I don't have a clone, and I pay for unlimited data. If I get cut-off, they are not keeping the agreement.
Besides, I'm not guessing, I read the law.

Not for a Tab you don't. They don't sell an unlimited plan for it.
This is the TOS everyone abides to by using T-Mobiles service with or without a contract. It clearly states that a plan is to be used on the device it was added to and not any other equipment. Claiming the iphone ruling doesn't apply here since it had nothing to do with using a service. It was just hardware hacking related.
. * Data Plans and Other Features. You will be charged for data usage on a pay per use basis unless you are required to maintain a data plan (“Data Plan”) as part of your Service, or as otherwise provided by your Rate Plan or prepaid data pass. Permissible and Prohibited Uses: Your Data Plan is intended for Web browsing, messaging, and similar activities on your Device and not on any other equipment. Unless explicitly permitted by your Data Plan, other uses, including for example, using your Device as a modem or tethering your Device to a personal computer or other hardware, are not permitted. Other examples of prohibited uses can be found in Section 17. Protective Measures: To provide a good experience for the majority of our customers and minimize capacity issues and degradation in network performance, we may take measures including temporarily reducing data throughput for a subset of customers who use a disproportionate amount of bandwidth. If your total usage exceeds 5GB (amount is subject to change without notice; please check T-Mobile’s T&Cs on www.T-Mobile.com for updates) during a billing cycle, we may reduce your data speed for the remainder of that billing cycle. If you use your Data Plan in a manner that could interfere with other customers’ service, affect our ability to allocate network capacity among customers, or degrade service quality for other customers, we may suspend, terminate, or restrict your data session, or switch you to a more appropriate Data Plan
Yes I do. You don't know what agreement I have.
I had an unlimited blackberry plan, with international roaming, then I called customer service and told them I was switching to an android. They didn't sell me a device, only a plan, with no contract.
Anyway, that's not the point. If people want to enable 3g without the redirect they have to break something until T-Mobile changes.
I returned the t-mo tab and switched to at&t.

Help! I can't watch Google TV/Video while traveling!

I am looking for some help.
I have an unlocked Note. CM9 is installed. Apps are all updated.
I was on straight talk in the states. Now that I am traveling a bit (currently in the middle east) i am using a local SIM card to make phone calls / use data.
Its working great - besides the fast that the data is way past slow.
The only problem is that the phone region locked me out of the TV/Movies (google play) that I bought / downloaded.
Does anyone know how I can continue to use the local sim card while maintaining access to my google play media?
Thanks! :good:

Try logging issue here.
dont know how they go about traveling and counties unsupported even thought you bought in a supporting country.
I did read there is a tamprred version supposedly disabling country check but not sure if it will help in this case.
I think the purchases are linked to account, and not sim/emei. But not sure about that.

All that I could find through that link is that I need to update my apps.
I did - everything is up todate, but they still dont work. I am guessing they are just region locked.
This really sucks. My entertainment package is down. :crying:
same happened to me, downloaded movies in Google Play, paid for them, got inside plane, landed in Germany and no movies played. Only message this video is not supported in your country. Called Google, unfortunately they said once you leave US it stops working, same of the movies purchased in US are still not even playing in theatres overseas etc. Offered me to refund the money. This really really sucks, I don't know why they even bother to introduce this Google feature, if you can use it only in one country.
yes, stupid country rights, protectionism, etc. I dont understand the whole regionalization, costs more, is more maintanence, and slowers update speeds. Make a global platform, we live global nowadays anyways.

Well at least I know everyone else is having the same problem.

Really annoyed. I rented and downloaded a lot of movies thinking.. brilliant... while I am in the middle of nowhere in Bangladesh I can at least enjoy some films. Very annoyed.
there is a way of tricking google play, it might work

First of all..USA, my country is not stupid okay? Before you call something stupid you need to read our bill of rights nd ammendments for which my country is founded upon. I could call your country "Full of ****" but before I do that. I have to know, understand and absorb fully well why I said so. Irresponsible marks can put you in jail in some parts of the world you know. "Ignorance to the Law" excuses NO ONE!. that is at least how we have it here. (not sure in your part of the world though).
Your Google Account speaks of your information to where you are.. So even if you change your country (in your Account settings), you still can't fool Google on your current location (if your outside of the U.S.)
And apart from that, Google movies and books were never in the first place launch internationally. It was just here in the States that Google decided so. Not sure why they did that but you can maybe blame Google and not the country itself. Just like Apple.. Most american companies pets their people first before giving it to others. Not to be a racist or something but that is just how it is. Yeah we have our congressmen and senators always imposing laws about the internet and stuff but they're just as well protecting to the best interest of the American people. And to be honest, I don't necessarily support all of their actions okay?(like the SOPA thing) but it doesn't warrant me saying that USA sucks already.
Again.. Blame Google not the Country.. If Google says that google books and movies are only for your country then fine.. I don't question why it's only in your country..so be it. I don't trash talk why your country was given that preference only.. Now again, the question why you can't read books and watch movies in Google is not the fault of the country itself. Blame Google for setting up their servers on U.S. soil. And quit whining..USE a US free VPN (if you can get around with it) to perhaps use these feature...if you still can't get anything out of it then your'e out of luck and just better shut up and stop complaining.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
thank you for speaking your mind I respect that.
What I wrote was having regionally set things up is stupid, not your Country, I think you misread that. Just companies policies. Its not only Google, but Blackberry, Samsung actually almost all companies.
What in my opinion makes Googles policies extra stupid is inhibiting functionality, if you live in USA you can use the movies and music, but if you happen to travel, your not alowed to use the functionality anymore in a unsupported country.
