hi guys i just got my optimus black rooted and i have the cm7 7.2.0 rc1 rom... i have an issue when trying to start usb mode my computer doesnt recognize my phone when turning on usb mode... i have tried other roms and i dont have this problem only with cm7....any possible solutions??

So I have a problem,
I was on darky's rom 10 and I have installed cyanogenmod7.
After that phone was woooow fast and great and everything...untill I decided to listen some tunes from external sd.
And so I have found out that I can't see external sd because I installed cyanogenmod on non froyo ROM.
Then I've tried to flash stock froyo but odin hanged a long time and I just restarted whole operation.
Now I have an icon ! that phone wants to connect to computer.
I can enter download mode with vol. down + home + power but it that state Odin cant see shiet. Only thing that can see phone in that state is windows (trying to install drivers and then fails!?) and kies (hanging on "connecting").
So, what are my options? Bricked for life? Or..... :S
k that symbol means connectivity issues, so try changing the usb port and if that fails try using another usb cable...run odin as administrator before trying all this!!
ok I've managed to get Odint to recognise it..
I've tried to flash froyo from this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=853950
and it doest boot, hangs at samsung/galaxy logo 4ever...
flashing darky's 9 resurection also gives no good thing.
just hangs on start samsung/galaxy logo/black screen in loop....
had the same problem as well and it was solved by plugging the usb cable at the back of the pc.
if that doesnt work try flashing other roms... you can find some tutorial on totallydubbed's youtube channel with the link of the rom in the description.

I've had an awful fight with this phone and my brain and stupid PC.

So, I have tried to flash 2.2 and it worked, then tried to flash cyanogenmod and it worked (again) but I couldn't reach external sd (again).
So I said to myself...f*** this s*** I'm going on stock,
And I did,

This is what I have, and the problem I'm facing (again) is that phone or pc via USB can't recognise external SD.

Kies is saying that "This version of the device cannot be updated."
Windows can't see either internal or external SD.

I've installed Darky's 10.2 ressurection, something is very wrong with my phone.
Install went fine, rebooted ok.
Still no SD card, when I reinsert it, it says its blank or non supported format.
Tryed to reboot the phone and it just loops on darky's logo/animation.
Help?
If i use the Glitch-Kernel V14 and oncosmic's ICS port on my I9000 i can't connect as USB-MassStorage. Only USB-debugging is shown in notification-bar.
I flashed back to FuguMod-kernel and everything works fine.
Whats wrong?
I thought ICS doesn't support mass storage mode?

from where i can download Glitch-Kernel?
first of all glitch kernel is not for onecosmics ics.its primarily for teamhacksung cm9 only.so please stop using that.u won't get any support from that thread.and mass storage can be accessed via cwm I believe.its there on the glitch kernel thread.nothing's wrong hence.

I have a problem. My phone after a few days of working od ICS 4.0.4 Dark Knight 5 just stoped working. I was playing Temple run when my phone stoped working. I take out my battery which i normaly do when my phone stop working. And after i put it in phone dont want to work. It stops on SGS official screen and then switch to Devil karnel screen, after few minutes he reboot himself and do this things again. Phone wont go to recovery mode but it goes to download mode.
I was trying to install old rom via ODIN but it dont want to regonize it? Why?
How can i repair my phone? do you have any suggestions? I just despred need a help with this huge problem!
Which rom and karnel is good for everyday use,which is nice,fast and life on battery is longer than 1day?

Odin doesn't show connection???
Your phone isn't recognized by your pc or Odin doesn't,do u have Samsung drivers or (kies) installed on your pc.
Drivers are installed on PC, no i dont have samsung kies..
When i connect my phone to PC it shows me connection but ODIN doesnt rect that he find my phone or that is something connected.
What should i do?
I would try to install kies too..

and what it should help me? We i was installing roms via ODIN i didnt have KIES and it was still regonize it.
Sammy Drivers is enough.kies not needed.but this is strange are u using original USB cord.
try connect phone when turned on.unplug turn phone of,restart odin,go to download mode and connect phone
Try nexus drivers. Dark night is nexus port.

I am facing the problem of Ph.booting on my galaxy ace. Previously I have rooted my ph.wid cynogenmod 7.2 but den after 10 days I hav again loaded with official rom 2.3.4 & then updated via KIES to 2.3.6 …
after all this I have got one problem on my ph. is that my phone is no longer getting ON after switching OFF. The only way I can make my ph. ON is that I need to connect charger then by pressing the power Key ph. will be turned ON.
I have tried above all options including hard reset (clock recovery mode) still having the issue.
can any1 guide me on this?

I am currently running SlimBean 3.1 with Semaphore kernel 2.6.2s on my Samsung Galaxy S i9000. I don't know why, but whenever I connect the USB cable and select mount usb storage, the phone goes back to the boot animation, as if I had rebooted it. I haven't had this problem with any other versions of SlimBean so far, and I am literally going on an ALL CAPS RAGE with this phone/ROM.
Any ideas as to what's causing this?? Thanks in advance.
