Beautiful looking app, if only I actually paid for my service. I'm a cheap ass and I go the free route.

The way I see it is I'm paying for the music, and the awesome syncing. I hates syncing iTunes to my phone

Local music
I can't see my local music on the new spotify beta. Is this just me?

Neither can I. Local music is inaccessible
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

Yes you can't access local music. BETA not stable.

So no new update to this beta release?
Anyone heard anything about release for the completed version?

Thanks man! If they add a proper genre browsing, it will be perfect. That's the only thing differentiating this from the iOS music player.
thanks a lot man, looks sort of like the leaked Honeycomb music app only better
Nice but where does it scan for music files? Directory?

Thanks!
Is there a way to change the background (to match individual wallpapers, or at least generic black/gray)?
Pretty sweet

running bionix 1.2 and this app is working beautifully, i was using the honeycomb music player before this one. its not a huge deal for me bcuz its not a feature that makes or breaks this apps awesome but the equalizer bar display toward the bottom of the screen are missing
Thanks for sharing this man, definitely the best music player I've used.
- cannot figure out how downloading album art works / cannot select and choose?
- how to download album art for a single album?
- cannot select music folders for scanning, I dont want to play all of my ringtones and everything else.
- cannot edit/download id3 taggs
I don't like
Amp is bitter

A new music player from Motorola made it’s way onto XDA this weekend courtesy of member phoezies, that we’re super excited about. While we’re still not sure exactly where it came from, it’s possible that it came from either the new Blur found on the BIONIC, but is more likely from the CLIQ 2. Talk about the ultimate media player though. Not only does it control your entire music library, it also has FM radio and SHOUTcast capabilities, lets you play videos and search YouTube, brings TuneWiki into the fun, and even lets you identify songs using SoundHound. Highly recommended.

I guess not! My bad
Anyone knows how to add video to play with this app? I can't seem to add my videos on it.
This is the most feature packed music app i've ever seen, granted i've not seen a ton of them . Love how it auto finds the words for most of my songs. Shoutcast, top 50 songs by region, etc. VERY nice app. Don't know why the devs aren't incorporating this into all the roms.
This music app is beast! Thanks for posting it

Apps you purchased with your $25 Google Play credit

I'm looking to spend my Google Play credit on some nice apps and I was wondering what did you purchased so far.
No games, music or books, post just apps please. Thanks for sharing.
Beside the ones I already purchased before, I got Tasks because it looks like being part of JB. Superb notifications and it syncs with my Google Apps tasks. This is how it looks on my Google Nexus phone:

I got the XDA premium HD app and Swiftkey for Tablets.

Not owning Titanium Backup Pro and Root Explorer is against the law.
I did splurge on Pocket Cloud Pro though ... and a few games.
Apps I happily bought: Tapatalk, Merriam Webster Dictionary, Bacon Reader, GRave Defense Game, TurboFly HD Game, Canabalt HD Game, Spirits Game, Pocket Weather Australia, Zen Bound 2 Game, Nexus Media Importer (connect usb otg without root).
Apps I regret buying: Beautiful Widgets - terrible terrible app.
Lux Auto Brightness - jumpy auto brightness especially at night.
Thumb Keyboard by BeanSoft - get TouchPal keyboard instead. It is free and less cluttered plus you can swipe to type.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Titanium backup is a must if you are rooted.
Another one I couldn't live without would be Tablet Talk which syncs your tablet to your phone via wifi, and you can take calls, send/receive text messages straight on your nexus, and the coolest part is it syncs everything to your phone, and sends texts and calls using your real mobile number.
Root explorer
Mobile Odin... for flashing ROMs and kernels
Still got $15 of my credit left and waiting for other worthy apps to purchase along the way

Apollo is terrible IMO..anyone whos switched to aosp what media player do you use?

I've settled on paying for neutron player..ya its expensive but..I really like it. I just wish they gave you more than 5 days to try it.

I've settled for zplayer. Sure, it costs money, but I find that it works well and I actually like the styling of Windows Phone/Zune.
Google Music.
But I really love MIUI's music app and HTC's.
will be trying neutron player right now
I'm under power amp for about a year and a half

Apollo poop
I am using PAC man rom and it came with apollo app as a system app, it truely sux.Everytime I try going to equalizer it forces closes.Sometimes the app itself force closes.Does not also response to headset controls. In my opinion PowerAmp is the best music app ever but it does not work in PAC man rom. Atm I am using MixZing premium, free to download from 4shared, gets the job done and also has an equalizer.
Don't know what you're restoring that's breaking breaking those things
Apollo eq not fcing

i literally tried 99% of players and now i use stock player for making playlists and updating album arts and player pro pro version for stuff. works awesome no problem and the widgets are the best
i use vlc for video...and play music for music
i like apollo...lol
the next on the list would be aosp music player (simple version of google music...not as flashy and no cloud storage)
I used double twist which is awesome.

One UI - Pop out Video and Save video options missing

When using the stock Oreo ROMs, while viewing streaming videos in Samsung's internet browser, you could long press on the video, and an option to save the video would appear. You could also have the video pop out into a separate floating window. Both these options are missing in the One UI beta. Has anyone figured out a way to re-enable them?
