Akshay00smart, I'm not sure about the glass part but you can buy a replacement back piece that I think includes the camera glass.
http://stellatech.com/site_stellatech/articles.php?cid=1095
The item number is GH98-16686A,R price is €10.87
I would send the company an email and ask to make sure.
Your kind of answer is indeed much better.
Man...relax

I do have an issue with the scratched camera glass. However, changing the cover won't solve it since the cover doesn't include the glass.
OK,
Here are two possible parts from one website.
https://www.globaldirectparts.com/U...alaxy-S-i9000-Back-Housing-p/smsng6087205.htm
http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-S-i9000-Camera-Lens-p/smsng6087120.htm
The problem is that the site doesn't sell to individuals, they do wholesale only.
Hope some can point to the right place.
Cheers.

i think a service cetre would replace the glass relatively cheaply and it is something you could ask for a price on over the phone, and they would probably fix while you wait or at most within 1 or 2 days

Yep, internal back cover does include the glass. However, the above first photo includes only the external back cover which doesn't include the glass.
i know this reply will not benefit the op but just want to keep this on record for someone else who might stuble here from google,
today i removed my old 5230's frame and tried to replace it with i9000's (it was of the same size) but when i tore the piece down, i came to know that the "frame" was attachedc to the body, like this
(the silver covering cane be removed) m talking about the "scratched part".. so no way to remove i shattered it to pieces and kept my old frame on the camera and tried to assemble the device, it dint assemble properly, and thus has a slight opening at the top right side(above the power button)... other things are working fine, the camera is no longer blurry (although i still need to test it in sunlight, will do it tommmo and report back) .. so in short , dont do it unless necessary, replace it with another back body, it'l save your hassle ...

Unfortunately today I also noticed small "pixels" of dust under my screen too. I do not think there is a way to clean it without opening the device. We should probably find a way to prevent that..
So still no one knows how to open the screen safely. Theres two star shaped screws on either side of the phone on the bezel, would that help to remove screen or am I going to risk breaking something? Please help.
bro if u take my advice dont do it yourself. I know how difficult it is to ignore it when u notice it.
By if u do it ur self u may put more of it then taking it out.
So if u really want it then take it to a preoffesional.
Sony repair quoted me 40 pounds. Id rather do it myself.

Do I have to disassemble the whole phone from the back just to get to the front glass or is there an easier way?
Yes and as was previously suggested don't do it yourself you will just ruin the device of you are not an electronics engineer to put it back together as you found it. Its a tough job to reverse engineer electronic devices even those who are easily accessible imagine doing the same thing to your compact phone

The only way would be to disassemble the phone. The front digitiser is not glued to the LCD on this model as it is with other phones so it's not as hard as it may seem to get the dust out. Although you will need to completely disassemble the phone to get to the dust.

I have these PDF's downloaded so let me know if you need.

this may sound stupid but if you have a bike pump or air compressor use it to blow the dust out trough the micro usb port it may work and no disassembly required
Does anybody know if sony can clean the dust and does it come under the warranty?

Ok, thanks... Will see what to do... But it's very ugly, and i don't know how dust can even get between glass and lcd... :-B
Since my frame is bent and my back glass is broken I really have to replace them as the dust got between back glass and the camera rendering camera with flash useless.
I'm thinking about replacing it myself, but I'm worried if it's still going to be waterproof after I replace it.
Have any of you guys replaced the back glass by yourself? How's the waterproofness after you did that?
Water resistence will be gone for sure and back glass wont stick for long.time to time you have to push it back.

I'm talking about replacing it. Both bent frame and back glass. Have you done this?
No, they will keep the water-proof capablility of the phone. First they will replace the back, remove all the old glue and rubber gasket then replace all with new glue, etc...then use high compression machine press the back cover tight to the glue. Atleast that is the process of replace back cover in my local Sony center, not sure it's applied to all....And after repair they will allow you to put the phone into water to test...
FFS
My adhesive on the back just completely stopped holding the back glass. I can take it out by shaking the device a bit or even by picking it up. I'll be sending it for the repairs...
No more Z1 development, really.

Yeah. The worst thing is that I have to ship the phone on my own. I mean wrapping, talking with DHL and stuff like that to get it to authorised sony service ... -_-
Good thing is that although I'll pay a lot for the replacement of the frame and the back it will be waterproof again.
I'll send it in this weekend or at the begging of the next week.
If anyone would be interested in the state of my Z1 then here's what's wrong with it:
USB flap fell off again.
Back glass is broken
Main frame is bent
Middle frame is cracked
To fix it I'd have to buy:
Glue for middle frame, main frame
Back glass
USB flap
Middle frame
I'll propably fix it myself becaus the cost of doing this in the service would be propably as high as a new Z1. Too bad I'm not rich so I can't buy those parts yet.
If anyone is interested then I finally made pictures of my phone. At least the screen and the electronic hardware is allright.

I only had Xperia Play apart from Z1, flashed xperia S just few days ago, lol ^^
I didn't test it myself, but if you buy a genuine back glass assembly (that includes glue, you can buy this from, for example www.witrigs.com) and replace it properly, wait a week or so for the glue to align and stick properly it should still be waterproof. I did replace almost every part of my Z1, that is camera, back microphone, back glass - 2 times, minijack with proximity sensor, battery, main frame with all the buttons and flaps, speaker mesh and propably something else I don't really remember anymore. It doesn't matter anyway, what matters here is that if you replace middle frame - take close attention to the speaker mesh hole - the one from a phone has some sort of a gasket there, whereas the replacement one - doesn't and you can't really buy it separately. I bought the middle frame assembly from witrigs and it was also missing that gasket. Also, speaker mesh from witrigs is different from the one that was in the phone. These parts render my phone not waterproof anymore and I don't think you can buy replacements for it that would still make the phone waterproof, even if replaced with surgically perfect precision.
TL;DR
Back glass assembly (complete genuine replacement part with glue, nfc, camera etc. already on it) replacement, if done properly, may not cause your phone to lose it's waterproofness. At least from my experience.
Replacing main frame and speaker mesh, even new genuine will void it. Not because there were some mistakes in replacing them, they simply don't have all of the elements that the parts originally shipped with a new phone have. Replacing them will definitely remove its waterproofness. (with all parts from witrigs.com, that is very trusted to ship genuine, new replacement parts.
Just posting this so people googling around could find the answer.

I have experienced all of a sudden a black spot in my camera apps. It seems like some kind of dust maybe is INSIDE the lenses. Or maybe condensation? I havent put it into water or sth...
Example how the pictures turn up...
Do I take it to warenty center? Do I request a new device?
Thnx
Looks like the shadow a dust particle very close to the sensor, take a few more pics of different scenes and show it to the Sony support / xperia care. I'm sure they'll have it fixed for you.
Dropped it off in the nearest T-Mobile centre forr warranty replacement.
How the F does a dust get in a water resistant/waterproof phone?
i have the exacttttt same issue on mines, tmobile doesnt offer the z3c, how did you take it there?

Sorry for answering late. I had T-mobile warrenty so they fixed it. All fine for now.
By me and my cat.
Kinda simple, really, once youll get this nice tool for opening the phone.
It seems that the dust gets inside through some small openings in the round lens protector, as the rest of the insides are really clean.
Anyway, enjoy

Please do stop shouting at all of us and accusing me of spreading false information. Dust under my lens protector - and the one that you can see in youtube video by this russian guy - was pretty real.
There is a problem with some Honor Note 10 units. There are - not always, not with every unit - ver small gaps around lens protector glass. If you will clean your phone with cloth (or your shirt etc) there will be a small dust particles buildup in time.
In my case it took almost four months and I am not the first nor the only case - just look around the web.
As for warranty claims. You gotta be kidding - you seriuosly think that I'd ship my phone around the globe, from Europe to Asia, because of something that I can fix in ten minutes by myself?
C'mon, that's just lame. Anyone with two good hands can do this himself.
And I think in someone already tried to claim warranty on that - to no avail.
If you dont have the dust there (yet?) then I am happy for you and I can even send you some kind of postcard with congrats for that.
Or if you happen to have two left hands or just like to claim warranty for any silly reason: go for it! Go go go!
Or buy new phone, whatever, I don't really care
But if you DO will notice this dust, feel free to use my guide on how to fix this problem
Well I did have this problem, and I am freely trying to help others with this issue fix it by themselves, in 10-15 minutes, without sending phone back (which would take 30-45 for trip both ways not even counting the money involved).
Which one of this things exactly trips you off?
Me trying to help others, or the fact that this can be fixed without refund/sending back the phone that someone may like like I like my piece?
If you'll do this in reasonable clean room (as you'd be applying screen protector) there will be no additional dust. And I'm saying in my vid that air duster is handy.
There already is a gasket under the back plate that goes around the lenses. It is some kind of flexible foam and you can see it in my video.
As for shattering the glass - yes, I suppose that someone could do that, but you'd really had to work for it, and I am saying in my vid that you need a sucking tool to pry open back plate.
