[q] phone maybe bricked after lpy cwm format help!!! - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
So, I was one of those people who last night decided I needed to have clean install for my newly LPY ICS flashed through odin PC. Obviously, I had not read the warning threads only after my phone got stuck on format and then rebooted and got stuck on logo did I visit XDA and saw the new warning Anyhow, what I had flashed was a rooted version of LPY ICS. Now, I have access to download mode but when I tried to reflash through Odin PC I get a failed attempt with this message !!!

Im using the cable it came with, in a working port.....
Ok so i just decided to try for some reason putting the CWM file on and install it through recovery....it failed....so i went back to DL mode and tried the flash again....and hey presto, it worked!
not exactly sure why, maybe being in recovery, my computer picked up the missing driver to make it all work, but so far it seems the have magically solved itself :good:
thanks XDA, your the best

GT-S5570I Can't get back to stock ROM

Hello,
I did the JellyBlast custom ROM to my Galaxy Mini+ GT-S5570I but it lacked Arabic support and it was buggy with Twitter and LinkedIn apps, so I wanted to go back to the stock rom.
Unfortunately I didn't backup the stock ROM, so I googled and found my stock ROM through this:
sammobile.com/firmwares
I tried to flash it using Odin, it gave me this output at the beginning:
Code:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> S5570IJPLF1_S5570iOJPLE2_S5570IXXLD6_HOME.tar.md5 is valid.

<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
After that when I tried again it's stuck at
Code:
<ID:0/009> SetupConnection..
Now I am stuck with this stupid ROM and I cant get back to my stock one.. Any help please?
U need to flash with 3 separated files.

[Q] Odin Write Operation Failing

My phone appears to be in a bootloop as it is stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Screen. I cannot access recovery mode, I can only access Downloading Mode. It started when I used Rom Manager to flash CWM to my device and do a backup. I have tried flashing a stock ROM to my device but ODIN (v3.9) gives me the following error:
Code:

<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..

<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
And shows a FAIL at the top in red.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Update:
After searching around it appears I may need to use PIT file, is this the case and does anyone know where I would get one for my device?

Can't Re-Flash Kit Kat; Fails after Set Pit File; There is no PIT partition

I am trying to root Lollipop on my I537 so I flashed back to KK successfully. Towelroot is successful so I flash LP as instructed using Flashfire but I never got rebooted to download mode. I get stuck on the S4 Active boot screen and the device seems to power down. So I boot to download mode manually and flashed the I537_OC7_Bootloader using odin but still cant get past the Active Boot screen. So I am trying to flash back to KK again. I was able to do this before last night but today I can't seem to get the firmware to flash! Can some one help me?

Ok so I got Odin to flash everything from SGH-I537UCUCNE3_v4.4.2_ATT_ALL and even a pit file i found here. Problem is I get the S4A boot screen and it says booting recovery in blue at the top right but then it dies. Any Ideas? I got Odin to flash by using a USB port on back of my PC on the mobo rather then the front USB ports on the case.
I also do not have access to stock recovery even after a successful NE3 flash with Odin! Have I bricked my device or just soft bricked it?
Anyone?

Phone starts only in "downloading mode"

Hello
My phone starts only in "downloading mode".
My phone: Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950F
Downloaded firmware: N950FXXS8DSK5/N950FOXM8DSK1/N950FXXS8DSK1/N950FXXS8DSK5
I had root. I switched OEM and the phone has not started. I decided to upload the original software but Odin stopped and showed an error. Since then, the phone starts only in downloading. Take a look at the pictures ... this downloading is not normal:
attachment "myphone.jpg"
there is no information as during normal uploading:
attachment: "normal.jpg"
I cannot turn off the phone with the power button. I can only reset by holding VolUP and Power. After restart I have a black screen, I can't turn on the phone. The phone starts automatically after about 1 hour in Downloading mode.
Odin shows:

I can't find any help on this with Google!
Have you tried flashing TWRP again? Then you could try flashing a rom, so at least you have a working device for now.
YES. When uploading TWRP, Odin stops at:
Odin ver 3.12, 3.13, 3.14.
TWRP ver 3.2.1.0,

I wish I knew how to help you further. Keep bumping the thread in a hope that someone more knowledge knows what to do. :fingers-crossed:
Correction. Not VOLUP + POWER, but the phone only reacts to VOLDOWN + POWER.
The phone only responds to the VOLDOWN + POWER button
The phone does not respond to the POWER button.
Maybe it is worth disconnecting the phone and wait until the battery runs out ...
Flash the correct PIT file with odin and it will work again..had the same issue and it worked for me without loosing data
Should I unpack the PIT file from CSC?
