It's not Samsung - it's the Android gallery. I have the same gallery on my SGS2 that I had on most of the ROMs I tried on my HD2, including the Nexus One ROMs. I don't get why Samsung are being brought up about this.

How the hell is it possible to get a gesture patented?
I have to be careful when i swipe the dust from my TV the next time because apple would sue me if i do it cuz i used their patent.

This was a "non-win" considering it doesn't go into effect until October - so Samsung has already stated they will update the Gallery to coincide with the changes Apple states infringe upon their patent.
And the Dutch court threw out everything else that Apple was claiming. Couple with the Shenanigans that Apple pulled in the German court system - they are quickly losing steam.
And.... Sammy isn't missing 1 day of sales because of this. But we shall see if Samsung sues Apple back for the monetary losses of having to go to court over this whole thing.

The only way to know for sure is to ask her. Other than that i would say is if she is "looking" for you. Does she text you if you dont text her first? does she ask about you? If you work together, does she text you saying that they all missed you at work if you didnt show up one day?

Should be able to use a screwdriver to pop that top shim off, hammer/roll it out, then re-epoxy it back down. The heatsinks look (and work) better without the marketing garbage, anyway

Very true, hes so well-rounded and down to earth, he's the complete opposite of a fanboy.

He's pretty impartial but he's far from down to Earth. Some of his ideas regarding tech and patent licensing are probably never going to happen. For instance (and I'm paraphrasing here) he thinks Apple should agree to license all of it's "General UI" elements for a reasonable fee. That will never happen, Apple has invested too much on it's UI and that's the only real advantage they have. Also he want's iTunes for Android. Where's the logic in that?
That said I have a lot of respect for him and wish he still held the reigns at Apple.

Couldn't agree more with this thread, sure some people might love iOS which is ok, to each his own but I seriously don't get how they come up with this low powered (low specs) phones and people are still lining up even a week before it's even announced? also pay the same or more than you would a high end android phone.

I don't think they're terribly innovative at all... but they do make a seriously great smartphone. I've owned every iPhone since the 4, and will continue to do so because of how awesome they are. I really feel bad for all the blind iHaters. They're missing out on some amazing tech.
I've been waiting ages for an iPhone with a decent sized screen. Can you imagine iOS gaming on a 5.5" screen? I pitch a tent just thinking about it.
That's one area where Android just pales in comparison to iOS. Gaming.

Eh, even the mini can be too big and cumbersome for a lot of games. Both of these new iPhones are going to be gaming powerhouses. I'm still torn on which size to get. I really want the 5.5" but considering I had to sell my OnePlus One because it was too big, I might not be able to manage it... though I might make an exception for the iPhone and just deal with it.
