Use PCC/SEUS to get back to stock , then re-root.
Flash recovery and install a ROM for STOCK KERNEL if you aren't unlocking your bootloader.

Strange...
Are you sure the ROM is stock kernel compatible.
And first you installed xrecovery , then flashed CWM ? Why so ?

Did you "Full Wipe (Factory Reset)" after flashing the ROM?
If not ... keep tapping on the screen when the white Sony Ericsson logo shows up to get into CWM and full wipe.
Works now?
Thanks for your reply,
I've done full wipe but its not working.

Ok, then let's dive deeper into the matter ...
- You run a custom kernel?
If yes, which one?
- How did you flash the ROM? ClockworkMod recovery or xRecovery?
If you flashed with xRecovery you did wrong. Re-flash the ROM with CWM.
- In case you are on Stock Kernel, did you flash the Stock Kernel add-on?

Since I am still missing a "Works now" post here (apart from a "Thanks") ...
You now see the bold red text that outlines the problem why your ROM does NOT boot?
Oh, and since you ARE on Stock Kernel (2.1.1.A.0.6) do NOT forget the also flash the Stock Kernel Add-On in CWM - or you will have just the next torrent of problems after you.
Hello! Please give me steps for installing this ROM. I read many thread and dont get it...
I'm afraid because of i9220 leak. And can't find actual steps to update from it.
1st go to CWM
Flash Abyss or Franco or any other GB Kernel !!!!
then go to advance - reboot recovery
then flash rom
enjoy!

Yes.
What shall I do now? How to get back root? Looks like CWM working now. Maybe I need to flash CF-root kernel from chainfire?
X8 ....After unlocking bootloader it went out of SIM signal....imanage to solve this problem.
But i have a mayor problem: I`ve tried to install GingerDx, PrimeHD, MiniCM9, on Sock and Custom Kernels and it always stuks at booting.
Before unlocking bootloader stock kernel ROMs were runnig all right, even PrimeHD 7.0 with nAa 11 worked but not anymore.
Anyone knows what is happening, should i relock and unlock it again?

Yes...full wipe= Done...but doesn`t work after full wipping.
well are you sure you have unlocked your bootloader?
re-check with s1tool...if it's unlocked then with flashtool go back to stock rom, kernel(android 2.1) and then root it again install recovery and then first try to install some other rom for stock kernel and then install custom kernel and then custom ROM
Pay attention on your ftf kernel files...i accidently downlaoded U20 nAa kernel instead of x8 nAa kernel...and guest what-->that kernel didn't work so whatch out for which phone is ftf kernel file
i hope i helped

Hello everyone I have a problem I do not understand how to install the kernel on my x8 naa ics with stock rom and bootloader unlocked. I have to flash the kernel of the first stock rom and install minicm9, I fear to brick the phone.
sorry for my english
Flash kernel first and at boot enter recovery and flash the ROM.
Sent from my X8 to your screen
Flash kernel, enter recovery, then flash the ROM and GApps.
Then full wipe and wipe cache and dalvik cache. Then, reboot.
Sent from my E15i using Tapatalk 2
Thanks to both! I solved

So the the rom is not starting ? No problem if a can start recovery after flashing the kernel. After flashing the kernel i want to install an TW rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2079094 . The instruction says:
Installation: use philz TW kernel (i am using philz3.99)
1. download SlimWizz2_Tablet and xplose framework along with xposed app setting module. place these files on sdcard
2. boot in recovery
3. cleanup for new rom flash(use philz menu)
4. install rom
Can i flash it through the recovery of the hydracore??
Yes but there wont be step 3 in hydracore recovery.. so you will need to go to mounts and storage and format /sytstem, data, cache and preload
