How do u all edit the registry code to off the vibration?
Recently I saw that we need to edit code to get rid of the vibration but how?
Just letting u guys know that I m on stock rom.

This is how you do it...But let me tell you before hand...since you are on a stock rom...I don't think you will be able to install a Registry Editor...cos as far as I know..it takes a full unlock custom Rom.
Go to this key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\KeyState]
Then add this value: "application_btn_vibrate3"=dword:1
to add the value, go to settings in registry editor in the described directory and choose "new value"
valuename: application_btn_vibrate3
value data: 1
value type: Dword
This will disable the vibration for the three touch keys ( back,home,search) and increase the battery life significantly.... If u want the vibration back then just change the value to 0
There's also an app on Bazaar marketplace called PWPD Tweaks that now does this and a few other tweaks. It worked perfectly on my hd7, but obviously your devise has to be unlocked!

I am running WM6, but my company implemented push email, and the device is now app unlocked after installing some certificates etc. I cannot run half of my programs - I tried the SDA-Application.exe program, which seemed to be succesful, but did not work. I cannot open a registry editor either.
I search all over this forum but cannot find the answer - how can I app unlock my wizard again?
We are also about to be issued HTC Touches which are similarly app locked, so it would be useful to have a method that worked for both!

No - these don't do certificate/application unlocking do they - I thought just CID/SIM locking?
PS I tried installing lokiwiz but I can't due to the app lock!
Both awizard and lokiwiz don't simply remove the Unsigned App Policies nor RAPI communication restrictions. What they need to work is for the phone to be in that state (app+rapi unlocked) and that's why there are some CAB that go along that are supposed to be run prior.
You can use my tool (WST - check signature) that does it with a click of a button

Great tool - didn't connect on Vista, connected on XP but says:
Not needed!
Regsitry settings are already set to use RAPI tools.
But I still cannot run unsigned apps! I have rebooted. I know they added a root and user certificate to the device - all apps have to be signed now.
Do you have any ideas?

Sure, get yourself a registry editor and browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies and edit two values:
:00001006=dword:1
:0000101a=dword:1
hope it does the trick
I tried mobile reg editor, which lets you edit the registry from a PC, and one of the reg keys was set to 0. But I changed it, rebooted, and same probem

Ok, looks like they changed some other settings that interfere with the permissions.
Check if HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\CertMod\AllowUntrustedApps is set to DWORD: 1
Hang on I figured it out....the 00001006 key was for some reason not applied once I rebooted. Thanks for all the help!
For anyone needing to do the same - I had to download mobile registry editor from http://mobile-registry-editor.en.softonic.com/pocket as that allows you to edit keys from the PC without installing anything.
My new problem, is that on our touch/elf I cannot change this key with this program as it says access denied - so there must be some registry permissions on there.

I pointed that because when i set it to 0 the phone refused to install apps so i thought it was the responsible registry value.
Must be another one then...

I believe those settings are more related to WM6 than to the specific device so they should be the same.
btw, how did you sort it out? I'd like to know for future use

Mine was just fixed by changing the 1006 value. The first time, the phone didn't take the change, but the second time it did and now works.
But the touch, it won't let me edit the registry remotely - access denied.

I'm trying to change a few values in my registry in the "HKLM\Security" section and it keeps telling me Access is Denied. I know other people are doing it, so just wondering what you have to do in order to allow yuorself to change these values?

What program are you using to edit the registry? And exactly what key are you editing?

Flashed it to Jaguar 4 ,
I had the registry tweaked before hant to allow acess to the MMS Server Tab , to allow me to change settings
but now after flash its locked/greayed out again , i cant find the post on how to tweak the registry again

In your registry goto:
HKLM/SOFTWARE/Arcsoft/ArcSoft MMS AU/Config/UI
There you will find a key called "EnableServerEdit" set it to 1 and you will be able to edit the server settings.
is there's an app which it increase the sound of the Diamond like
SRS WOW on HTC Touch (( i had one before )) and it was fantastic
i wonder what is the solution to the diamond .. it will be so good to have the sound increased ..

Although I havent tried this yet.. there is a registry edit to allow the audio booster app that comes with the unit to work without the need of a headset.
Do a quick search, youll find it.

then the two tweak files: tweakP.mscr and tweakB.mscr
the 1st one is for "permanent" tweaks, before copying into your mobile just edit it with notepad and look inside to fit your needs, then copy both files in your mobile, where you prefer, but both files must be in the same directory, then run tweakP.mscr this will apply permanent tweak and will copy tweakB.mscr into your StartUp dir (\Windows\StartUp).
the 2nd tweakB.mscr is for "boot" tweaks, enable audio booster and enable hide sim contacts, if the file is under \Windows\StartUp the tweaks will executed every re-boot.

anyway to fit your needs just open that file from your PC with notepad, uncomment (by getting off the #) the line below "RESTORE default setting"

now i feel better with it knowing what it did change
but could you give me some more tweaks that i found in apps in this forum like DiamondTweak ..
-Fone face down mute ring
only that cause i couldnt get it stable .. everytime i check it in the app it doesnt work !!
and one more qusetion .. how to make the tweak run in every start up .. i know in windows/startup root but which folder ?? .. and i dont want the tweak start up like (( installing tweaks 3.. 2.. 1.. )) .. is it possible like hidden ??

hi friend,
tweakP means Permanent so that script must executed just one time, for ex after you've just flashed a new rom
the second one, tweakB, means Boot, you have to copy just this script under "\Windows\StartUp" directory and it will enable the 2 tweaks needed to be executed every boot (enabling audio booster without headset + hide sim contacts)
the "boot" tweak doesn't give any kind of output, it is silent, anyway as you can read inside it... it will be executed after 1 minute because we have to wait that Flow3D has completed to load
I'm still investigating for collecting other "easy" tweaks... until now I have just these

It is Zeam laucher and when i go to setting there aren't any option
to set the screen resolution or similar...

ok, try opening the rom.zip file, than open system folder to find build.prop... open that with a text editor (notepad+) scroll throught the build.prop untill you find a line that says
ro.sf.lcd_density = 160
if it says any other number, than change it to 160
if you dont see the text, than just add it and see if that changes anything when you reflash the rom...
be aware if you are using AmonRA you must sign the rom after zipping it

Ahhhhhhh, ok... it also is the Density setting parameter that i've set when flashed the rom...THANKS TO ALL... you're great.
I've also another question, if i don't disturb you:
for the g1 dream can you post me any .zip file for update the phisical keyboard to italian?i try with some files that with other rom are ok (padronfroyo) but with GY it don't work...
