I do the same thing though... no one is allowed to borrow or sync music with my computers unless they have a Zune or something besides an ipod. I don't help my friends with macbooks, iphones or any other apple products they have. They made fun of me when I got a zune so they can rot in hell! haha

Seriously, I don't get what's the hype about LiveProfile when BBM is around the corner. I mean Kik Messenger has been around for so long, but for some reason it never really went off. LiveProfile has been around for what? 2 weeks at most? It's flying off the app stores like crazy.
I really can't see RIM being generous to let us all have a functional version of BBM.
Half the people using BBs are only sticking to it cause thay can't let go of BBM.
If RIM starts handing it out ot other OSes, there would be no reason for the tech savvy BB users to stick with BB anymore!
Hell I looked past BBM when I ditched my 9700 and it took my wife a little while to get past it but she prefers the nicer apps and games that Android offers.

Darn, there goes that sweet 30kbps "3G" download speed I have been enjoying lately.
My wife switched over to AT&T-mobile the other day and bought an iPhone. The OS runs very smoothly and sort of just 'works' like other Apple products. It's also a lot less clunky than the Evo.
Definitely a good phone for the masses.
I doubt many people accustomed to android would enjoy it though. I hate having to click on the settings icon and then search through all the sections of different settings options just to adjust my brightness.
With MIUI I just pull down my notifications bar and change all of that in an instant.
Also, widgets.
The operating systems are both absolutely fantastic after trying both of them in my opinion. It comes down to personal preference completely.
People don't give the iPhone enough credit... It's made so you know how to use it out of the box, which is what most people who have cell phones want.
We all, at xda, know about rooting and modifying our phones to make them do things they weren't originally intended to do... But you all have to realize... The majority of people with cell phones don't know how to do all of this modifying, and they probably don't care to...
Would I get an iPhone... Probably, if it had/gets a bigger screen. Am I dying to rush out and buy one... No. I like Android.

Nice try on stirring up the pot. WP7 is nothing, will never be anything. Look at how terrible it is doing in this market. Apple and Google will continue to claw it out in phone sales while Microsoft sits on the sidelines. None of the general public goes into a best buy or at&t looking for a WP7, nor will they walk out with one. They want a cool looking OS and phone and some variety to choose from. Not some bleak tiles invented by a first grade class.
