if you have CM, you can use setcpu or no frills to change the io scheduler but available io schedulers will depend on how the kernels were compiled. I just use the default which is sio..

Is there an explanation to all these governors? I know theres one for some of the more commen ones like conservative, ondemand and so an, but i knever heard about:
LiLgV2
InteractiveX
SavagedZen
Scary
Lagfree
Brazilianwax
Minmax
OndemandX
Superbad
GreaseLightning.
Does anyone have some information about them and how they work?

No, thats bug came from cm7 rom, not the kernel
Too bad...OC at 821mhz....not what I thought at all.Not to be rude or to flame but you said about 883 mhz in the forum thread.Maybe you should just change and say that it's just another OC kernel just like ketut's.Don't lie about the frequencies they are not yet too good controlled.
If you put in a under/overvolt it may just do the good to make our Ace reach 1ghz.

Good choice not implement this, for all that use oc kernel.
In this way to boot phone should use always basic default frequencies, so avoiding fake boot ;-)

the problem is from the kernel dude,I'm running gingercruzt V2 on ketut's kernel everyting is fine on yours dosn't show min/max frequency in performence settings

Can you build the kernel??
i read many reference what the best max freq for kernel, and the 883Mhz, is enough for hardware,
so this kernel not just compile, but i read every log when build this kernel and try to fix, to minimize error mod post
if you dont like, dont use it, i just want to share, what i'm doing, and if you like, just give a thanks
maybe i can give a clue, just read below
see this code
Code:
/* MSM7201A Levels 3-6 all correspond to 1.2V, level 7 corresponds to 1.325V. */
enum {
VDD_0 = 0,
VDD_1 = 1,
VDD_2 = 2,
VDD_3 = 3,
VDD_4 = 3,
VDD_5 = 3,
VDD_6 = 3,
VDD_7 = 7,
VDD_END
};
max freq use code 7, its mean corresponds to 1.325V ( max volt )
go, and build your self,
if you know the bug,
please report, not complain
every device with same type is not same on hardware, some people can boot at 883Mhz, but some people cant, and my kernel freq 883Mhz, but not default, all people will know, if freq is bigger than default its mean OC kernel
all feature is not just add but with some modification that need by device for get best result
sorry for my english

Too bad Atutu Benchmark score, HELP!

So .. I saw this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1301328 ... and I wanted to test my phone ... so I downloaded app and these are the results ...
ROM: GingerDX | v019 - stock kernel
Score: 971
Something is just reallly wrong ... WUZ GOIN ON ?!
I am currently using SMARTASS Governer (it was already installed on my GDX)
How can I have better score ... I really don't like this ...

eventhough your problem is solved....try froyopro... and if you have unlocked bootloader then try it with alfs 09a GDX with the fixes overclock it and set IO scheduler to noop

Best kernel, I/O Scheduler and cpu governor for Jellybean?

I flashed the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159519 SuperNexus kernel which is on version 4.2.2 Jellybean, and I'm liking it ^.^
Now, I was on ICS for quite a long time (too many unstable JB roms) and of course, the kernel I should use and the i/o scheduler and cpu governor changed, as I'm on jellybean now. I was using Devil with Smartassv2 and noop on ICS and it seemed to be working great. What kernel shall i flash for the supernexus? It comes with a cyanogen mod one which i don't like, and which i/o scheduler and cpu governor shall I use? Write below, with a reason.
Thanks!
No one, seriously?
You can try this. I'm using it and it's amazing:

Overclocking can fry your cpu. My governor is smartassH3, frequency 245-800 MHz and I/O is sio. for SmartassH3, flash MA6 kernel by @Mardon. Btw just curious, why are you using an old version of cm10.1? there is a final version for cm10.1. here- http://jenkins.androidarmv6.org/job/android/602/
