Just see that you not overclocking the CPU. Try CPU Spy from market & see how much percentage each cpu speed is working. Also use Set CPU to limit you CPU speed.
From my experience of KD + Notecore, I found there was a heavy battery drain. So I shifted to Speed Mod K3-11. You may try what suits you.

This could be a rogue app - however, have you checked your app sync schedules etc, Are you syncing widgets every 5-10 mins?
I also think that the overall Android OS encompasses the Download / Data / Android System values but I am happy to be corrected if this is not true..

Have you tried changing kernels? I saw that your on NoteCore kernel I used Notecore before and though it optimizes the performance of your phone, but it's also a battery drainer. Try to use speedmod kernel and see if there's a considerable change on your battery drain issue.
I was experimenting a lot of kernels on my phone before (as my goal was for a better battery life...) SpeedMod never fails to amaze me till now.

+1 for SpeedCore - Otherwise - Try NoteCore STD and make sure you've deleted the init.d scrips as per the thread..
Even speedmod is also draining like a hell. 4% dropped in just 5 minutes of usage of browsing

Had the same problem a while ago. After switching sim card.
Thanks to better battery stats I found exchange service was going berserk. Switched to pop every 15 mins instead of pushmail and the drain issue went away.
Minor nuissance mail isn't pushed anymore but sure as hell beats beats batterylife of 10-12 hours idle and in deep sleep. Now I'm back to the usual 2-3 day charge cycle.
The moral of the story: get better battery stats http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809.
See what app is wakelocking your Note. And do something about it...
Now im on speed mod kernel and it is looking more stable in battery life but i will check it couple of hours

Rest assured speed mod gives you ample battery life bud. (Though I'm using the k3-9 and not the k3-11, the 9 version is simply amazing!)
Don't forget to hit the 'Thank's button if I've helped you in some ways or the other.

Hey,
I've been running the 3G Mobile Hotspot app on my Milestone running 2.2. I'm aware that the app isn't meant for the phone, but it's running very hot and i'm worried that it might damage the phone. I'm sure its taking a hit on battery life too but that isn't much of a problem as the heat.
So thanks in advance to anyone who can answer.

maybe you can underclock during that time.
CPU Tuner is good for that (disable profiles and pick a speed)

I noticed the same heat issue, but i ran my phone (plugged in and overclocked too 900) for 1 week straight in this mode with 4 laptops connected to it (spring break) with no issue.
I guess it may reduce the lifespan of the phone, but who will be running this phone in 2 years?

CPU Tuner does more and uses less resources than SetCPU, I'm pretty sure.
Even when I disabled all features of SetCPU, it would remain in memory so I uninstalled it.
I only tried it just to see what the fuss was about, since I was already using CPU Tuner.
I can use a different governor in different profiles which get activitated with different triggers.
I guess that sounds complicated but it's a real easy to understand interface.
With a couple of recent added features, I no longer need Juice Defender
In reality, you can use it to replace SetCPU, Juice Defender and Toggle2g/3g.
And the thing is like a camel.. it barely drinks anything.
Here's some info from a previous post...
I use ondemand, smartass and conservative... sometimes performance (you know... just for benchmarking)

Smartass is amazing when the screen is off... it will sit at 250mhz nearly the whole time.
Interactive isn't very good for that at all but Conservative is OK.
With the phone unplugged my setup is:
Smartass - battery is above 70% (but not on a phone call) and whenever the screen is off (with reduced overclock).
Conservative - battery below 70% and always when on the phone.
Well that looks great! I will definitely try it out thanks for telling me about it!
You're welcome

Im using Juce Defender to take care about my CPU speed. U think CPU Tuner is better? Maybe i sould get it if its so awesom...
I place mine in the refridgerator.
It's free... worth a try without risk heh
JD wouldn't do any CPU speed on my rom so I forgot that it even has that feature
I diconnected my phone from the charger, and it was at 100% at 830 this morning and now at 1130 it is at 56%/. This is after probably abotu 1-1.5 hours of browsing the web on my phone and configuring widgets.
I was wondering if that is normal battery drain? I have been flashing my phone quite a bit lately and it seems that the battery life is not that great. I have already recalibrated my battery as well.
Also my phone is overclocked to 1.3ghz.
You might want a second opinion but I'm going to say yes
If there is evil in this world it lurks in the hearts of man.
1130 AM? If so that is not good at all.
Not good at all, I am running Pinnacle 1.2 for 29. 5 hours since last charge and I have 29% remaining, that includes roughly 3 hours display on time and just shy of 1 hour phone calls.
Very happy with Pinnacle 1.2

If you're on Apex, try going without the overclock and switching to the DarkCore kernel. That might help your battery life a little bit.
Did the phone feel hot?
What kind of sites were you hitting? White background? Lot's of Flash?
You've got three things that I see hitting your battery hard - the data transfers, the screen and the CPU usage. Depending on how your overclock is set up, I'd guess it's causing your CPU to use at least 30% more juice.
I can get days of idle time, but only hours of heavy use out of my battery. There are certain web sites and games that seem to suck the battery dry.

Well when my phone is on standby, I find that it drains at a reasonable rate. It is just when I use my phone that it drains fairly quickly.

29.5 hours? With Pinnacle 1.2 I'm getting about 8 hours with moderate use
Agree with jsfLip!
With moderate use, my Cap get out of battery in 8-10h.

I've tried different settings on my phone and have not been able to get your kind of battery life.
I recently flashed MosaicVI and using the JV6 modem. After using this modem I have been getting better results but not quite as good as your.
What I'm trying to find out is there any certain setting you have your phone in, i.e. only on WiFI, Auto Display, sound, Disabling Your data when not using it? I would really love to get this kind of results. I'm sure everyone else would to.
Oh, I've also cycled my phone battery 3 times everytime I flash a different ROM. Please school me up on how to get those results.
P.S. I tried to quote you and reply but me being new to posting comments did not let me.
Go to market and download "Data switch". You will see marked improvement to your battery life.
So is that the secret? "Data switch".
All it does is turn off data usage so your cappy is not using data for all the background services (synch and such). Its what I use when I want the battery to last and don't need a data connection.
What is your normal battery drain when your phone is idle? I have an hour and 15 minute drive to work each day and my phone sits idle the entire time when I get to work I notice that my battery has drained about 3%. Is this normal or is this high?
I'm running teamhacksung build 16 with glitch beta 3, of course this has been the case for every ROM I have installed. Btw I keep wifi and gps off at all times and I'm syncing only gmail.
The reason I ask is that I was given an iphone for work and I couldn't believe the battery life, of course I could never leave android for apple...I just can't customize it...
Thanks in advance.
3 % a hour, that's high, im on kk4 based rom & kernel and my cappy drained average 1% per hour

Perhaps during your drive you are going through some areas of weak signal where the phone needs to work harder to stay connected.
You can look at Settings to see what has been using your battery during that hour and a half.
That's similar to the battery life I'm getting. I think I can get better drain if I don't overclock

I have seen my phone idle between .5% to 3% based on strength and stability of signal, no other factors involved. Since traveling at vehicle speeds = less stability. It's probably the reason for your loss, you can try different modems to see if one talks to the towers better so hand-offs go smoother.
leaked from my ICS- FUSED SGS I897 contaminating you via XDA app.
Here are a couple screen shots I took after my phone was sitting on the counter idle for a little over an hour.

Yeah I'd say that 3% in 15 minutes is high - I probably drop 1% to 2% per hour or so when idle (but I keep wifi and mobile data disabled when not in use).
Even when I'm work though where my cell signal is weaker I don't think I've ever seen my battery drop 3% in 15 minutes.

SpeedMod: K3-7 is working great for me on Stock 4.0.3 LQ2... I've not tested K3-10 yet as I had Wi-Fi issues on K3-9.

Hi CJSlim79,
Thanks for the repy. I sent you a PM but anyway... I would really appreciate someone can give me the direct link to download that version..
I was able to look for a link on that (I'm not sure if this is the right one though: http://touristinparadise.blogspot.com/2012/01/samsung-galaxy-note-download-speedmod.html but moving down on that link, I noticed that k3-7 is for GINGERBREAD ROMS already and not for ICS...
I'm kinda bit leery to download and install this k3-7 as it also indicated on that link that its for the 'S2' already?
If I download and install this kernel (k3.7) will this work still on my current 4.0.4 DXLRG ROM?
Thanks and much appreciated.
yup, I think the battery is lasting longer
Both Speedmod and notecore kernels are good for battery

I am using CriskeloROM V9.1 now with CF-LRG kernel, also running many social apps at the back like facebook, whatsapp, wechat, mitalk, LINE, Email, Maps. I have many phone calls, and browing the web in a day. The drain is 7-8% per hour on average daily use. And 2% per hour drain on idle with those apps running at the back. I would think it is more less if I uninstall those social apps.

hmm, not bad. I would agree, background data sync usually eats a lot of juices as opposed to running them on demand only. I have exchange, aol and ym running as well, but the drain on my end still pegs at 1% every hour and a half. Not too shabby I guess.
Anyway, I appreciate your inputs bud. Thank you for sharing some infos on the kernel.

As long as it push then battery usage of sync is lowest, so be carefull when setting it to manual as that can end up beingbmore battery intensive as it constantly wakes uo your phone from deepsleep.
Gmail should be automatically on push, others like exchange you have to check when configuring or changebto push if your exchange supports it

the battery drain in the jb leak was pretty high ...so I moved to alliance jb rom . my battery life is decent now.

No clue though why 2 programs say that it's 7h+, but the other says 9h+
I never had battery issues on LS7.
When I first flashed LSA it was draining like mad.
No other problems though. After two days of 'burn in'
without any improvement, I decided to wipe cache+dalvik+battery.
Result : Bootloop. Only solution, full wipe + 3formats and reflash.
After this my battery life is normal.
Hope my story will help some, just wipe and reflash.....
Oh and I didn't recover anything by titanium, I just reinstalled my apps from playstore
both times I flashed.
Just for being complete: I followed the flash instructions of the OP as usual
