Hey guys!
Ive made a custom skin for UCCW which mimics the cool yahoo ics weather widget. It isn't rly perfect as the yahoo icon and refresh icons aren't the exact images and there isnt the date and day of the week under the clock (cos i ran out of static text) but it still looks cool
Credit goes to mes215's i merely modded his version.
Pls let me know if u have the yahoo and refresh button icons or if u have any suggestions to improve the skin!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1: Install the UCCW app and open it
2: Hit the menu button and select "more" and "settings"
3: Enter your city into the weather thingie
4: Go back and hit the menu button again
5: Import the ww.uzip file
6: Save the skin (from the menu button once again) as any name u want
7: Go to ur home screen and add the 4×2 UCCW widget
8: When prompted select the skin u saved and ur good to go!
Please tell me if u meet with any more problems and I'll try to solve it asap

Erm it seems like there is indeed some problem can u try downloading and importing mes215's skin (link in the OP) first before importing mine? If it still dowsnt work i'll upload a new link
EDIT: Forget abt it I've uploaded a new file it should work now

That's because the weather is not working properly in the play store app. Download the one from the uccw thread (there's a link from the OP if I'm not wrong)

is the weather images supposed to update or? cause i get the same weather info no matter what town or city i choose.. also how do you add the refresh button to the left? i dont have that and i cant find it anywhere in the settings.

Open app drawer > Press Menu > Edit > Drag the icon you wish to use

I guess it will. You may have to uninstall existing stock launcher first. Just make sure you have another launcher installed when you remove it

did you edit it somehow from the framework-res? can you make one for Samsung Galaxy Fit? if you want the resources for you to be able to edit the apk I will post and attach it here for you, ill be waiting for your response mate

you have to be on deodex rom if to install directly on stock rom coz it doesnt allow to install the modded file

I think no but haven't tested it.
I think after installation you have to push the home button. Then you will get
a screen which launcher you will use.

it is very easy to edit icon from any apk.
1st open your apk by 7-zip or winrar then go to res folder of your apk and go to Drawables folder and replace the icon you wanna replace by new icon. after changing icon sign your Apk.if u dont know how to sign use this thread forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840330 and then install your signed apk and your edited apk will be installed.

Download romtoolbox from playstore
Go to data
Go to system
Go to costu. Icon
There you will find the right name
And rename it in the mtz file

I recommend to use this launcher, especially for our screen.
Extract the APK file from the archive and move it to /system/app/ with permissions rw-r--r--.

I've already been looking for this for ages, but without success..
So.. Is there a way to mod the stock JB lockscreen to make its background transparent?
(So live wallpapers etc are visible ^^)
I have already found a mod for Xperia Go which included a theme with transparent lockscreen background and a modded UxpNxtLockscreen.apk file with added support for transparency.
But it doesn't work on our T/V because of the difference in dpi.
So, could anyone help me out with this?

I did the following:
1: Remove your old UxpNxtLockscreen.apk
2: Go to recovery, wipe cache, dalvik cache, then fix permissions (just to be sure )
3: Download the UxpNxtLockscreen.apk from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259985
4: Move it to system/app with the right permissions (rw-r--r--)
5: Reboot
6: Download the Purple Theme from the same thread and open it as a zip
7: Extract the semc_theme_lockscreen_wallpaper.png and move it somewhere to your sdcard0
8: Select the image as lockscreen background in the settings
9: Set your desired homescreen live wallpaper
10: Done!
Just gotta mod the lockscreen because it still shows the navbar and somehow becomes dark upon touch. But for the latter a fix is mentioned in the thread where I found the lockscreen mod.
So we just need some friendly guy to decompile and mod this one for us
Won't be that hard, I'd do it myself, but I don't have the time right now.
