Hi people!
I tried S'Perience Rim with "Nims 11 Kernel" and I like this much that rom.
But I still prefer stock roms.
I want to install one stock rom, and i have no problems to do that, but i want to know if its possible to "gain" internal memory, like in S'Perience rom. Like it's in atachment.

Change to a custom kernel and flash cronmod script
I want to use a custom rom with root and cwm, "batery extender kernel" and cronmod script. Its possible right?
But have a lot of cronmod script and i dont know what i should choose.. Can you help me?
Sorry, but I have some doubts, and i want the phone working like in your rom S'Perience.. I already had your rom but battery consumption is exaggerated, but the rest is brilliant .. Congratulations
You can take the cronmod script directly from the sperience rom (look in system/etc/init.d) or from the zip to install the rom.
Then just put it in your rom in the same path init.d with the appropiate permissions.

If you have the sperience rom installed, with a root explorer go to system/etc/init.d (or search for the init.d address). Look at the scripts inside, locate the cronmod script. Check the permissions of the scripts and remenber them. Copy this file to your sd card. On your new rom, paste it inside the init.d address (again with a root explorer) and give it the permissions.
If don't have the sperience rom installed, but have the zip file to flash it, open it and look inside the init.d address. Then do as above, take it, paste it in your new rom's init.d address, set permissions.
Reboot and pray for no bootloops.

I dont know what I'm screwing up here...
when usb debug is on and what ever the mode(charge, or sd mounted) I still end up with the same...
Дa, I'm rooted with xRecovery and the rom is stock nothing more...
I dont know,I'm thinking to get a custom rom but there are way too many for a basic user like me to chose from...I just want more space in that thing
p.s. I read that when you leave gps on its not consuming the battery unless some app starts to use it. Is this true? I've lost the phone like 2 times and I would like to use the gps tracking thing in that case...
Most custom 2.2 Roms are easy to install and use, may i suggest Froyobread as its what i use and i have tried most of them and find it the best. Apps2sd working, battery use very good and max 108 free RAM, avg 70-90mb. Just Backup current stock in xrecovery and install custom zip from sd, place Froyobread in folder called roms along with all others and then its easy to keep track of them. Root is pretty much useless without custom rom.
Your problem can be answered well if you posted this on General Section.
Wrong section sweetie.
@corsav6
specified rom link mabe?
theres like a ton on the internet and all have good and bad ratings...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1079463
Thats Froyobread from dioxanh, i find it the best but everyone has their fav.
ok I'll try that out but I still like stock cuz when I go to the place Where I got it they wont help me
You will get all the help you need here at xda. if you dont like the rom you can just restore your stock rom from xrecovery. if you brick your phone you can use the repair function in pc companion and it will unroot and restore factory rom.
And they(the shop)prob wont help now your rooted and have xrecovery installed.
Ok so I got a hackdroid now so if I come back to stock I'll revive the thread.(also made a conclusion that for app2sd to work it has to be ext3 format partition. well atleast for me...)
Forgive me if annoying to open new thread..
Yes, theres awesome github source for P1000
But please can someone give proven tutorial to compile kernel for P1000 from samsung source ??
Kernel Source: update2 (opensource.samsung) & voodoo (github)
Initramfs Source: stock & cfroot (extract with unpack-initramfs on cygwin coz on linux always failed) , voodoo (github)
Toolchain: arm-2009q3-67-arm-none-linux-gnueabi gcc 4.4.1 , arm-2009q3-68-arm-none-eabi gcc 4.4.1 , arm-2011.03-arm-none-linux-gnueabi gcc 4.5.2
Trying combination source kernel, initramfs, and toolchain but still device cant booting
Thank you before for helping..
Still dont know what happen..
Compiling without problem but still not luck to booting..
Trying with alterbridge source..
Using old ubuntu8.04 Hardy Heron to build..
Is this one of problem even i have all tools??
At least can go to recovery now.. but still cant mount anything
Once you are successful, need you to help look at incorporating TWRP recovery into our tab. Their site seems to say easy to port to any device that already has cwm.

You can't simply replace the whole .apks . You need to open the apks with winrar or 7zip and replace the .png which have the same name(I have done before).. if you want to get stock transitions, you have to decompile and edit a lot....
For the launcher.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1470713

I think I saw a post with the solution but I can't find it anymore. I really want to play good hd games but those are huge in size 2-3 GB per games. Is there any way I could swap my external sd card with my internal so that when I install games and apps all the data files goes into external sd card? or maybe after I install the game in phone memory I could transfer it to external sd card without any problem? I searched for it but couldn't find anything that will solve the properly without any problem.
The SDExtswap thread was removed since it didnt work properly.
There were just as many Xperia V's it didnt work on as where it did work.
Mine were in the group where it didnt work.
Hopefully someone knows a proper way to do it. I'm very interested aswell.
Not because of HD-games, but because I usually sync my spotify-playlists, and they are huge.

not even any way to successfully transfer game data to externalsdcard after I install the game normally on phone memory? that's sad. I hate sony's 3 way sdcard system. first device memory then there is internal memory and external and then when I connect it with cable I only have access to 1.70gb and external sd
you can disable internal memory :
active init.d (by pimp my rom)
and install Smanager !
copy this : http://db.tt/Bn1IIvEE in init.d folder
and run that script with Smanager
my english is terrible ! if some one could male a topic for all !

If running stock rom you need to disable RIC by repacking kernel with a script
Follow step 5: https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/root-root-stock-firmware-modern-sony-t3558904
And read this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...ia-z1-lollipop-5-1-1-build-14-t3246373/page12
SUPERUSER said:
Its recommended to use these sketchy last resort rooting options to get root to be able to backup ta partition before unlocking the bootloader or whatever you need to do and then replace it with a proper root.
If you are running stock rom and want to root this.
Then to keep it simple I recommend to flash a stock rom with flashtool and then follow the guide here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/root-root-stock-firmware-modern-sony-t3558904
You need a stock rom downloaded to repack the stock kernel and then flash it back to the device.
So Its much simpler if you actually download a stock rom and flash it while you're at it.
http://www.flashtool.net/index.php
While you are following the guide make sure to disable ric in the script too.
Otherwise you won't get rw to system partition.
Since chainfire supersu is completely handed over to that chinese business I recommend to migrate to magisk instead.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
And lastly when the phone is booted up install busybox
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox

Sorry ....somehow I didn't see your notification and totally missed to reply to you.
If you are stuck on the sony logo you configured the script wrong.
Say N to everything but RIC or the phone will not boot.
I repacked the kernel from my Togari to demonstrate but the procedure is exactly the same for Honami.

I do want to add that I do now have my doubts about magisk because I have had some issues with magisk on lollipop and I instead went with supersu.
But I you got magisk working then you don't need to do worry about this
thank for information, and im sorry if i late for reply your post
and then I'll trying all your say,,,
thankyou verry much :baik: :baik: :baik:
