1.buying a new device
2.waiting for someone who can get a stable OC of 1GHz to SGA [ and trying to fry some cookies on it ]

U need an overclock kernel to do that...thers one for ace by ketut....but y do u wanna do it..do u realuse that ur battery will suck(even more) when u overclock?!!u can also cause permanent damage to your phones cpu etc ...my advice will be R.I.P with 800mhz ..its fast enough

in antutu looked, well, at least up to 960MHz, near the 902 and now everything is stable, but want more

They also did something 921 or 979

I can't get more than 845Mhz because it hangs or reboot.

previous ketut kernel were able to OC much more than 902 but were not stable for most of users.. very few lucky CPU's got some speed and they might be amongst them..
if OC get stable at 960 then ketut might update blackhawk kernel..
if you are so eager to get OC then download sources mod them and try if it works

indeed. over 1ghz aint gonna happen. armv6 or msm7227 to be exact really, really sucks when it comes to its capability.

well yours and mine next phones will be clockable to 2Ghz
i can see DHD price slashed recently and it is similar to many newer devices so develoement is very much active ..but don't have some cash for now

but considering its other side 18k is good price and it will come down when one series gets launched as it will be priced much higher

That 960MHz would be unstable as hell. I'm sure that guy overclocked just for the bench. Even though he got a good CPU, reboot may still happen..

You'll just get a Tab worth Rs. 6,499 (approx. $118)
I don't know whether much cheaper ICS based Tab is available than this.

I would rather get newer phone with bigger screen...

Only difference seems to be 2MP Camera, whereas Micromax has a VGA cam.
But you've to pay extra 500 bucks for that, as Karbonn Tab is nearly 7,000

I use it since last two day ..
Mine vote for micromax funbook best tablate for gamming and all things..
It comes with 2d/3d mali 400 graphic processor...

Mera to ek hi qwestion hai bhai....does micromax has such good hardware like mini? My mini dropped from my hands so many times..still nothin..but I dont really trust micromax..and specially wid the less no. Of service centres and even they barely open

Good hardware like Mini?
Funbook comes with ARM Cortex-A8 processor (ARMv7) with 1.22GHz. Even Samsung Galaxy Tab, HTC Desire etc. is running the same processor.

Come on... How anyone could possible know that? And then, it will be the same with CM. It is needed to make a ROM compatible with our P970.

Droiddna kills xperia z on antutu benchmark by 5000?? how

I thought they had the same processer apparently they don't dna get a score close to 20000 where xperia z barely makes it to 15500 somethin is very wrong here why does xperia have such a huge difference over 5000 points less so its seems like the 1.5quadcore in xerpia is not as powerful as the the same 1.5 quadcore in dna yet there both from snapdragon so one of them is lieing !!! about there processer... Cause over 5000 points in difference its funny how so many smart people havnt realized this yet lol every other 1.5GHZ snapdragon quadcore is close to 20000 yet the only yes the only phone with the same supposedly same specs is way less then 15500.... explain that :/

Explanation is very simple: ~15000 score was achieved on prototype device with debugging/development 4.1.1 software. Retail devices score from 19500 to ~21000. Score is expected to go up with 4.2 update.

Okay I guess they either updated antutu or they updated the firmware on xperia either way the new score is much more better then the one I saw before I can totally live with that score much much better n its a tiny bit more then dna so that's a huge improvement plus will get 4.2 before dna so even such better yup the choice is clear now!!

I think the change comes from Xperia firmware - or the hardware used in prototype units. Seen one youtube video where it scored over 21000 so we might still be surprised.

Here's a better tip.
Don't compare a device which is already out than a device which isn't yet.
Did you at least consider how many running apps the Xperia Z is running on that demo unit? For all we know other testers could have just launched an app and pressed home button(without killing the app) so it still consumes resources. If you really want a decent benchmark they should have made a fresh reboot on a device first before doing the benchmark.

1) Look up the hardware requirements. If you meet or exceed minimum specs,
2) Post the question in a thread dedicated to YOUR device. Most likely there will be a dev or a team interested in porting from the gnex ubuntu image to your device.
The availability of a ported image to any device usually depends on the willingness and skill of a dev using your same device.

There is a port available for Xperia u. So it will be possible to port Ubuntu on sola as well, and also it will not be off track as both devices are likely to be same in specs, hoping for a YES!
