I've managed to compile an over clock kernel based on the Galaxy S3's overclock code.
I'm working on ironing out the bugs and will post the kernel and source then but for now here are some antutu benchmarks.
Are you sure you edited the code correctly? 1728MHz and only 7400 antutu seems a bit low to me.
I thought stock score was already around 7100 or so
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
Yeah stock is 7100. That's the other screen shot. I'm looking at the code. I think some of the voltages are a bit wrong which is why I haven't released the code or kernel yet.

+1 Me too
Hi,
I've closed the thread as placeholders are not allowed in any development forums and to save from lots of "I can't wait" and "+1" posts. Please PM myself or one of the other mods when you're ready to release your kernel and we will re-open the thread. Alternatively if you wish this to be a discussion thread then we can move it to the General section for discussion to continue.
Thanks
AvRS

It's official ICS for LG SU660, not the source code

Excuse me for not understanding Korean lol. I went ahead and trusted what tonyp said about it.
Unbelievable. It really got released.
Source: http://lgmobile.co.kr/lgmobile/front/download/retrieveDownloadMain.dev
LG usually is pretty fast with the kernel source, the previous source code drops happened after 1-4 business days.
Looks like we don't have to fiddle around with this release anymore. Hooray!

I haven't checked since I left a comment there but it seems like a people couldn't get it to boot and faux was also headed off to a Thanksgiving party. Maybe the Mods deleted it to keep complaints to a minimum and let users give feedback while faux is attentive.
I still have the file so I'll try to boot it. Hopefully it comes back soon considering it seemed promising.

Yeah, every time you reboot though you will have to run the same command. For some reason the kernel causes boot loop when doing fast boot flash boot imgname.img

If you really must ask that question im afraight youll lack the expertise to succesfully compile, build and package a rom.
If you feel lucky try searching around the forum and or google on how to compile amd build cyanogenmod for your device, also on their website is a quide/wiki.
Goodluck anyhow; keep us posted.

This is a CM10.2/PACman kernel I compiled.
UPDATE: I have changed the CPU frequency tables to allow 192MHz minimum speed in addition to enabling overclocking.
You can download a CWM/TWRP flashable zip of the kernel from HERE
Feedback welcomed!

The only changes I have made at this point are to enable over clocking.
You can download a CWM/TWRP flashable zip of the kernel from HERE
My device is happy at 1728MHz - Your results may vary.

I tried flashing this over liquid smooth and couldn't get it to boot. Boot animation was very choppy and then just froze. Not sure about AOKP though.
Just a note, GPL dictates you must provide kernel source within 80 days of public release. I know we're not at that limit but thought I might say something since I didn't see source linked in the OP.

It's not about what I want. GPL is the law. It's possible for you to get in serious legal trouble.

FIRST OF ALL HELLO TO ALL DEVELOPERS
I have opened this thread to request developers specially who compile or port cm9 ics roms
i would be happy if someone from you can make AOKP ICS ROM
imagine a fast stable aokp ics combination speed of ics and customisation of aokp
i am asking for aokp ics cos jellybean aokp is present but is too heavy and show lags
so please if anyone interested then please try to make it
MY SPECIAL REQUEST FOR THIS TASK TO SOME PEOPLE
1 SKY_WALKER
2 OLDDROID
GOOD LUCK :good::good: AND THANKS IN ADVANCE
To clear things up, please don't open threads asking for development of ROM's. If you really want a new ROM you can PM a Dev. Second, please don't demand things. The guys who create these ROM's also have lives of their own and it takes a lot of effort to create these ROM's.
If you think there are some lags or other bugs in a current ROM, just report it in the ROM thread. It may help you.
Hope I make things clear. TY

is it fine i mean is it stable and performant and is the ram consumption not very high
As far as I remember it was rock stable, customisable to the bone, and the ram consumption was like, for example, like Maclaws CM9.

CM9 & up aren't remotely supposed to perform as great as stock. Bcoz they weren't meant to be running on ace at the first place. It was our awesome devs that even built 4.3 for us. So if you are using them, just don't complain, use it the way they are. Especially on an armv6 800MHZ qualcomm device.:screwy:
