--- If you have a SGSII probably u have this options already custom on the ROM, this si for GB 2.3-2.7
Hey, anyone interested on a Tasker app to look like iphone/SGSII+ reject call system? I'm making one in tasker really simple but usefull. But it's on portuguese.
If theres any1 interested I can try to translate to english..

Normal acept/reject button.

If you long press reject button u get extra menus and a extra button.

Write the time to remind u to call that X person. Also sends a SMS saying in how many time u gonna call.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18267742/Samsung Galaxy Ace/SC20121011-234504.png
Likewise.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18267742/Samsung Galaxy Ace/SC20121011-234540.png
The sms sent.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18267742/Samsung Galaxy Ace/SC20121011-235624.png
The reminder. U can click it to auto call that person.
It also reject incoming call+ send auto sms saying ur busy if u face down ur phone (flip)
The screens are from version 1.0. At the moment on version 1.2 theres some interface cleanup/faster process and it uses a slider for the time, and not insert the number. It also converts to hours if u pass the 60minutes and sends SMS accourdingly.
The interface is kinda ugly, but its what I could get, im no PS pro, so if u wanna help..
I've also released in portuguese 3 versions, one with everything, the reject call system+flip, one with only reject call and one only with flip.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18267742/Samsung Galaxy Ace/SGS2Call v1.2.apk
Full App
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18267742/Samsung Galaxy Ace/SGS2Call-semflip v1.2.apk
Without flip to reject call.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18267742/Samsung Galaxy Ace/SGS2Call-só flip v1.2.apk
Only flip to reject call.
Its in portuguese, but U can still test it out. (calling for urself works aswell). as I said, if you guys like it and wanna use it, I can translate to english today at night.
I think it uses 3-4mb background service RAM. You can stop it on Settings->Aplications-> Running Services.
Also on the call, if you want the defaul buttons u can just press the back key.
Also, when u getting the call, it may take 1-2 seconds to appear the buttons, so it can recognize the app(typical android behavior).
Feedbacks please!

Hi Group.

control over sending out my own number or not ,
TYIA
start-settings-phone-services-caller ID-Get Settings.
You will be prompted for your choice of 3 options:
everyone
noboby
only to contacts
Well That was fast.Thank you so much,Now while you are there,I also have found that if I receive a text from someone not in my contact list,The only way I seem to be able to add them to my contact list is to dial their number and hang up quick, and then I have the option to add it,I bet you know better

Not entirely sure of the exact details but if you open the txt message and press and hold on the number you should get an option to save that number to contacts.
Hi
Well thanks again,I am sure I did that, which is what made it start to dial, will try it next time to see if it was finger trouble my end
Tis a nice handset,I am fine with windows, just need to get to know the touch screen system better,

Hey I was wondering, is it possible or is there a current one out there that can do this. I normally keep my phone on vibrate. However would be nice for select contacts to have the ringer turn itself on and be loud so I can make SURE I know to answer the phone at work if I hear my G1, while everything else I can easily miss or ignore.
Same with select text msgs from contacts. Is there anything like this or even possible? Thanks. =)
Would use , would buy if worked great.
My suggestion meantime.
Get or make an mp3 sound file..1 second long , recording of nothing would do. Set that as universal ringtone. Then individuals you want to hear from give them "real" ringtones. Set all rings to "ring and vibrate"
Should work with sms as well although you may need seperate sms prog (chompsms)
Ok Ill give that a try for now, cause yea at work I dont care to answer everyone, but a select few I dont wanna miss at all. Just never good to have your phone always ring when its for someone you dont need to answer.
I would pay for a good app too. =)
also you can try out the app CallWall .. its made exactly for that reason
Call blockers are nice and so, however Ive yet to see one work great. Ill try it tho in hopes that it DOES work well. BUT still the REQ remains since there are calls I wouldnt want blocked, but I would just ignore while I am at work, whereas couple calls I would WANNA make sure I notice.

you can set it to just MUTE calls also!!
also i asked him if he can implement that feature (where it blocks all but a select few) so hopefully he adds that soon
but for now you can just add everyone you want to be in the 'ignore' group to a contact group and then set that filter in the program and set it to only mute
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Cool I will play with it and see how it works out. Ill report back if there is something missing, but if what you say is true, thats a good start.
It works all with Locale - now also with individual notification-settings
I've tried heaps (got like 30 in my start menu), done many searches... Tired of heresay and finding out none really work. I want to easily block people off my touch pro. Anyone have a working version of anything?
Answer(credit to mtem1985): Magicall http://www.mobiion.com/magicall.html It's a great little program, can block calls/sms with auto delete, logging, notifications, etc... it can even send a message back to your harrasser like "I told you there is more fish in the sea" or just "You Are Blocked"
Pretty cool, suited my needs perfect.
Here Here! I had the mistake of giving a guy at work my cell number because he "needed a favor" thinking he needed me to work for him and just to find out he wanted to bug me and talk about absolutely nothing. EVERY SINGLE DAY! And it doesn't matter if I yell at him at work and not respond ever to his messages. He still manages to text me all the time a couple times a day! HELP SOMEONE!
Nobody knows of a working one eh?
i've used magicall in the past,
Worked great for me. give it a try
Works perfect, thanks man.
hey there~
i am fairly certain that the free call firewall has all those abilities. i use it to automatically route certain callers to vm. you can auto reply to blocked call via sms if u want. you can specify a black list for calls and sms and even add a blocked call to a reminder list!
hope that helps
~j
Here you go. Hope this helps your problems out.. Good luck
Ur welcome
I've given my phone number to some people that i shouldn't give to, so in need of a program that could solve this problem for me, i've come across this one.
back in the times when i used winmo 6.1 you could set the app to block incoming calls, and sms and it wouldn't even show an icon that something happend. the only way to know if this person tried to call you or text you, you should go into the logging area
I have got a LG-Optimus P-698 android phone. I request for following help.
1. Is there a software that will help me to attend my incoming calls without the need to slide the call attending (green) button? It sometimes requires two hands to attend an incoming call.
2. How do I access the last made call to recall this number. In other touch phones it I just press one of the buttons (usually the left corner button at the bottom), it will make a call to the last called or last missed call.
3. I understand that there is software which when installed into the phone, will become a speaker activated phone as soon as the phone is kept away from the ear.
4. Is there a way to automatically add or ask to add the contacts of persons whose name/s do not appear in the existing contact list.
5. How do I change the default fonts.
6. Lastly what is rooting, root browsing.
1- it's easy to answer with your thumb, just practice
2- read your manual, press the call button (phone like icon) and the second tab is for the call record
3- never heard of an app that does that, but search the Android market
4- in the call record long press the number and select add contact
5- in settings>screen settings should appear fonts, if it's not there your rom doesn't support changing fonts.
6- rooting is not for the amauter user, start reading, start in Wikipedia or something and Google "android root" "what does rooting android means"
I hope it helps
Trolling in the deep.
