Hello everyone!
I've found a device which allows you to use Bluetooth on an old PC with no USB- Ports. It works on an Serial Port.
Does everyone know if it is possible to use it on the xda?
I think it's just like an Modem or GPS for the Serial port.
To the XDA-Developers team: Is it possible to modify it to act as a Wireless LAN device? Bluetooth and Wireless LAN use the same Frequencies (2.4 GHz).

A Bluetooth device can not be modified to communicate as an 802.11 wireless device. It is true that they both use the same frequency, but they are different technologies.
But..
It is possible to use a serial Bluetooth device provided that drivers are developed for it and the power requirements are not prohibitive.
This would be VERY desirable.

I got a LG LM series tv with WifiDirect support and v20a do not connect at all, but my GNII connects fine?
i suspect a LG o4x wifi direct problem or???

I have a LG 42LM660S, in the begining the tv said that it was no connection. I connect my computer to the phone hotspot, there was no internet connection, windows search for the problem and fix it, before was no IP from the hotspot... I re-connect the TV and everything went fine. Both, TV and computer had internet access through the phone.

I can get WiFi direct to connect with my friends DROID dna. He can send and transfer files to me but I can't send anything. WiFi direct didn't work for me with ics either.

I use my Nexus 7 as a CarPC and i would use some externel antennas für Wifi, GSM, UMTS, GPS.
i found this shark antenna -> Calearo Shark Quad Multifunktions Antenne AM/FM - GSM/UMTS - GPS - WIFI
is it possible when i remove the back cover from the nexus 7 and connect the antenna to the device?
whats with the GPS voltage, discriped in the antenna manuel?

I would also be interested to hear if there are any good quality tablets out there designed with built-in external jacks for a similar application.
All of GPS, GSM, and 3G/4G are of interest, but particularly GPS and 3G/4G
Sources like alibaba in bulk quantities would also be OK.
The unit doesn't have to look particularly good, but has to be of good quality.
Will probably start a separate topic on this as well as a 'generic' query.
Just use a USB wifi adapter.

first is Z3736F last is Z3735F cpu. Later with Intel CPU with lesser clock speed. So later is underclocked and cheaper unit.

C516 includes GPS
C5J8 has no GPS due to Z3735F processor
Plapic: but, it is not so easy question! I have Z3735F in the Device Manager (Windows 10 Home) there is a GNSS 4752 driver up and running, but Sensordiagnostictool couldn't initialize the 4752.
My guess:
- there is no GPS antenna in my unit (but I have information that the wifi antenna used for the gps too)
- some passive component did not populate on the board which need for the GPS
I did not disassembled my unit yet. Do you have any better information about this problem?
