Hi,
I have problems when starting a next level in Sector Strike.
The screen is messed up, and I have to touch the screen like a blind to go to the next level. The levels them self are playable.
So it's not possible to go in the settings menu to choose other weapons.

Same thing happened in Agent Dash
It will not be even fixed if you Chainfire it
This shows that this game is incompatible
There are a bunch of games in Play Store that are incompatible but are not listed as such.

Not on the market for me either, but when pulling the apk files from my Nexus One and installing it on the G-Tab, every single one of them force closes on me. I wonder if the Xoom can play them, if it force closes on that, then at least we may know it's a processor issue.
I've gotten worms working fine on my G Tab.
Side loaded both the app, and the additional 40 MB of data that it copies to \sdcard\Android.
Just side loading the app wasn't enough, whenever I tried running it errored out saying device not compatible. So downloaded it on my droid and copied over.
Works really great on the 10" screen, controls take a little getting used to.
Many games with tilt feature are not working properly on Kindle Fire HD, they go backwards and upside down. For example in Stick Stunt Biker, when you move the device in order to pull or push the bike the game does the opposite. Is there some way to fix this??

xdadevelopersmac76,
This is normally caused by what is called "Accelerometer Noise" and the games inability to
filter through the noise. First I would go to Google Play Store, search for Accelerometer,
download and install a good Accelerometer Testing Application to make sure your
Kindle Fire's Accelerometer is working properly. If the Accelerometer test is OK,
then you will need to go to each game vendor and ask them if they offer a upgrade.
Always use the latest revision of the software and never share the software since
this will void the software warranty and keep you from upgrades.
Thanks!

xdadevelopersmac76,
Were you able to resolve this problem or did it turn out to be a problem with the Kindle?
I hope you were able to resolve the problem, if not, respond and we will try a few other
tests to determine if it is just "by design".
I'm having this same problem. Games like osmos display and jelly defense display upside down (no matter how irritate the kindle). Probably the accelerometer is inverted too. Looked for noise in an accelerometer app, and it looks pretty clean.
Seems to be a problem with the kindle...
Maybe needs a setting screen option. Some apps display fine. But it looks like full screen games without a "kindle edition" are broken.

For app rotation issues, use the Lock button on the Quick Settings bar. That will hold the app to a single orientation. I played through Osmos successfully with the help of the Lock button. Unfortunately, I'm guessing this doesn't help at all for tilt control issues (never tried it - I don't care for those kind of games at all).
Yep, that's a good workaround. Thankfully, I don't play games that require tilt on here.
Still, a fix would me most welcome.... someday maybe!

Hi all,
I just want to know If somebody else is suffering the issue ?
To make it short, randomly this process is not stopping and running until my device is so hot that makes me aware about this issue.
Also by reading the stats of battery usage, this process is almost 1st and I am not a music listener on my normal daily usage (impossible at my work).
I have tried like everything I know:
Reboot
Kill process
...
Nothing really satisfying and do not know what is causing it ???
Any ideas around there ?

Multimedia process is 2nd place most of the time. and never i use multimedimedia file.
But i do around 18h of usage with 4h screen on.
So i think its a visualization bug because the battery life is pretty good.
Multimedia or media server ? If it is media server/scanner it's probably because of broken image file or music file ( if it is image the broken it won't show in the gallery and you'll see black pic instead). If you have some kind of music/video files you can check them for errors too. If the process is multimedia...
Could be caused by a MKV file stored in the external S.D. Card ?
As default Sony player didn't read it, it perhaps tries to create thumb...
Do you know a workaround to avoid this (if it is the cause) ?
BTW thanks for the hint

Is media server just how audio playback shows? I was just listening to audio all day, like about 7 hours. And I checked battery usage, and mediaserver was showing 70% usage. But the actual audio apps I was using didn't show at all. I thought that might have meant that media server was also how locally played media shows at it is the low level library for the actual playing.

Since I uograded to v20a official European firmware certain apps crash for no obvious reason
For example Google play music
Most of the time when i press the home button and all four cores get activated google play fc
This has been going on for a while and it really bothers me
Also whenever i try to open the equaliser it crashes most of the time. I will put cm10.1 on it today with wolfs kernel
And see if it is fixed
I think its because of the cores switching on or off

anyone found that 3d games freeze and won't load on cm10? tested on amazon OS and they work if I can get them installed. example is candy crush.
I'am too. both cm10.1 and jellybeer crashes when I tap "play" in candycrush. Haiz
Funny I don't think candy crush is a 3d related issue, I checked my logs, its doing the exact thing that Google music does when I try to use it, its crashing my audio drivers, and giving me this error( note its giving me this error a lot more than in Google music): 06-18 00:51:54.103 W/AudioTrack(114): obtainBuffer timed out (is the CPU pegged?) 0x40041628 name=0user=0003d680, server=0003b880
Also thought I'd mention I can play need for speed most wanted just fine... Would love to know more about what this error means myself personally. I'm guessing something about not being able to access the audio buffer? Then again I'm not sure precisely what a pegged CPU means unless it means its being overused. To which this confuses me even further.
Edit: just noticed the log has the pid for the process that causes audio to stop working, and once year u kill the pid the audio comes back. So I these the audio drivers not crashing but possibly that something wants control of the audio card exclusively and then malfunctions and won't die naturally to give you audio back?

I'm using CM10.1 (11/5) and it works on candy crush, no crash. But when I used with Cm10.1 (14/5 or later) and jellybeer 4.3, it crashed at starting screen. Any ideas?
I'm also getting the same thing on jelly beer 4.3 ROM. As soon as I press play or Facebook in candy crush it crashes
