Then I activated 3G in my Mobile Network.. Problem is i am not able to use those apps through 3G. When i try to login the application like FB, GMail, Gtalk through 3G it says login failed.. not able to connect to server.. But it works through WIFII.. Are these meant to work in WIFII only or am i missing anything..

[Q] Mobile to Mobile Sync Calendars?

Hello,
Is anyone aware of any sort of App that will directly sync calendars between two Android devices? Using the mobile data 'always on' network or via wi-fi on a home network?
In theory, I guess I could set up a new gmail account and both devices log in to it (can you do that?) and sync the calendars that way.
Just wondering!
Thank you.

Make your phone into a free VoiP cell phone ***Must have a rooted phone***

Hello community. So I was bored this morning so I actually figured out one way to make your cell phone (with a data plan / wifi) into a free VoiP phone.
So I am from London, ON. In order to get a valid us gmail account I used
DroidVPN -goo.gl/Nsg6C (free to sign up)
This program is not only free, it is a working (in beta testing) vpn service for the Android platform. With the vpn putting out a US IP address you are now able to get a US gmail account.
Now you will need to get a textPlus Free Text + Calls account
textPlus - goo.gl/eGtJf (free to sign up)
Getting a textPlus account gives you a valid US number to use for free texting, also this number can be used to activate the Voice part to your new US gmail account - google.com/voice (free to sign up)
Now you will need to pick up GrooVe IP(paid version. Gives you access on data and wifi) / GrooVe IP Lite (free version. Can only use on a wifi connection)
GrooVe IP - goo.gl/BSF0E (no signup required as you will use your Google Voice account info to log into GrooVe)
So, order in which to do these things are as follows:
1. Get a text plus account
2. Get a US gmail account with g-voice, using the textPlus number
3. Log into your g-voice account using GrooVe IP
4. Start calling
I have added 4 screen shots.
The first one is just showing that I'm connected to DroidVPN
The second one is showing my Google Voice account on my cell
The third one is showing the dial pad in GrooVe IP
The forth one is just one of the windows on my phone showing the 3 apps
Its pretty straight forward I think. If you have any problems remember you need root access to do this (if your from Canada like myself).
I hope its works for everyone and please let me know what you think. This is my first post.

Int'l stock rom: white connection bars?

Hi,
I am wondering about the white icons (wifi and mobile signal).
I thought they appear white, when there is no connection to the Internet or google servers... but this is just fine.
It's all, because in CM and pure android (e.g. Nexus) it gives a hint for troubled data connection...
Ideas? Syncs are all ok and hangouts is installed. Push (gmail) works perfectly.
It just drives me crazy!!

Unable to use mobile data for WhatsApp , miui browser , and email.

I'm unable to surf internet on my mobile browser using mobile data on my mi3. I'm using miui 6 stable china wcdma version. I'm even not able to connect to whatsapp and also email (in miui).I'm able to use my mobile data in other apps like playstore, dolphin browser, google installer and also in mi market also.. please help me to solve this. I can run all the apps when connected to a wifi even whatsapp , mi browser , email ..
Using mobile data
Go to security - data used- restrict app data usage then check whether data is selected for using the app.
If selected it is highlight in green, same for using wifi.
This will solve your problem
