Movie Marathon Suggestions - Off-topic

After scouring the interweb in search of movie marathon suggestions i thought... why not start a thread at my favorite forum?
So heres my first list of great movie marathons. I will add to it later and suggest you do the same!

If you like those old Eastwood westerns then you should definitely watch the Old samurai films they are based off, especially ones directed by Akira Kurosawa. Also Harikari (1962) is a good one. Plus the more recent Samurai Trilogy: The Twilight Samurai, Hidden Blade, and Love & Honor

How dare you all forget about STAR WARS?

I'm assuming you have seen the Ong Bak and similar Tony Jaa films?
How about some Samurai films? The Twilight Samurai? Zatoichi?
Are you interested in good films with just one fight, or films where the fights scenes are the reason for the film (ie several fights)?
Good stories and acting? Or just fight scenes?
let me think..... karate kid with Jackie chan in it?
thats the most recent one i can think of...

I am surprised you did not mention Ip Man 1 &2
The best Martial arts movie I have seen. Ip Man is Bruce Lee's Teacher, by the way.

Best stoner movie ever?

IMO I think it's gotta be Friday.
Plus this is way too funny:
"Weed is from the earth. God put this here for me and you. Take advantage man, take advantage. "
Cheech & Chong - Things Are Tough All Over.
"People say it was the drugs that killed Elvis man. But it wasn't the drugs, it's looking for them. Keeps you up all night!"

Lmfao! Those guys are hilarious!
Another good one:
Half-Baked: Dave Chappelle
"I don't do drugs, though. Just weed."
Half Baked is the quintessential stoner movie. Pineapple Express gets an honorable mention. Both are hilarious.

- Dazed and Confused
Indeed, How High is absolutely a must watch. Can't believe I forgot that one. Or, maybe I can believe it. Damn weed smoke.

I would have to agree with how high because it reminds of a very stupid story that did involve me being stoned.
I had just got my very first dvd player had never used or watched a dvd before this one. I borrowed How High from one of my buddys after a night of heavy smoking. I got home and put the film on, now some how without realising I had put on directors comentery, a feature I did not know existed. I proceded to watch the entire film feeling very dazed and confused about what was happening.

Incidentally, you're not missing out on the Assassin's Creed beta. It's exactly the same as the multi-player from the last game, which I didn't rate anyway. I LOVE the single player games, but it just doesn't work as a multiplayer. They should just have a multiplayer sandbox so you can stalk and kill without some silly time limit or people out to get you.
Think GTAIV, on a rooftop, with a sniper rifle. Now that's fun
i'm playing Battlefield: BC 2 and waiting for BC3.

On Android: Cut the Rope, Montezuma 2, myth defense. I want to try order and chaos but not if its wifi only.

Marvel vs Capcom 3! I love fighting games..you should too
I'm starting to get back into Gran Turismo 5 now. I was put off it because of the 24 hour races and the B-spec events. I decided to give B-spec a go and it's not too bad. Think I'll gain a few experience points and get it to level 20 or something. Will probably get tired of it again then.
I know it's well old now, but I still love online GTAIV. I love the randomness of it all; having a shoot-out in the street with someone while a couple of people drive past shooting out of their car windows at the pursuing cop cars. Unbeatable fun!
Bf3 beta ftw.

This is a place to pay our respects to the ones we lost. Those loved ones and visionaries that shaped the world that we know, that entertained and educated us, whose loss we felt in our souls, and those the world is a worse place without.

Who's your favorite actor and/or actress?

This is a thread to see who people's favorite actors and/or actresses are. If you want, you can post what their best movie was.
To start it off, I'd say my favorite actor is Leonardo Dicaprio and my favorite actress would be natalie Portman. Leonardo's best movie would be inception and natalie's would probably be black swan (no strings attached wasn't bad either).
Also, I wanna keep this thread clean, don't insult someone for liking an actor or actress that you don't like.
If you forgot or don't know who natalie Portman is then see attached picture. I'm assuming you know who Leonardo Dicaprio is...

That's about everyone on the west coast!
There is only one answer: Kiefer Sutherland! I've sen like all of his movies and series he's played in, and I was never disappointed. But most of all, 24. Heel, it's the best series I've ever watched, I just can't imagine more perfect series. I love Kiefer, if I could, I'd be his boyfriend( I'm not even gay! Far from that! All respect though...).
There is more too, but I bet most of you haven't even heard of them... You know I pretty much hate American movies so...

LOL.
The one who calls for no insults is the one who picked Leonardo Dicaprio! Hehehe.
Actor - there are so many - Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Samuel L Jackson (as mentioned above), jay to many to list.
Actress - they're is one who springs to my mind instantly - Marilyn Monroe. Not because she had amazing acting skills, but because she was a natural, normal sized woman (not a skinny waif like so many are nowadays) and yet she was one of the sexiest women to ever grace this planet.
Robert Downey, Jr. is a comedian guys)) nice kidding all films
Jenny Agutter for my favorite actress (logans run,the eagle has landed) and Sean Connery for my favorite actor (bond, Highlander)
