Hi!
My phone is SU660, now I want to install ParanoidAndroid (on old boot loader). I searched and found two versions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1875564 and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097807.
I'm so confused :crying:. Which one should I use and how to install them. Using wpark's tool or AIO ZIP tool to patch them? Thanks & Sorry for my bad English!
you can try the latest PA by Tonyp(2.6-8)
and use wkpark's tool to port it on your su660.
just rename the ROM and run Fixall. bat file, then copy the fixed ROM + kernel to your phone's storage and flash it using CWM.

Hi, just found at my wife's huawei u9000 restarting sometimes.
Want to flash with newest stable rom, maybe after when i understand better this proces something modified/custom
Model: HUAWEI-U9000
Android 2.2.2
Radio PR232
Kernel: Apps_2.6.32.9-perf
When i try this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1274063 it gives me wrong PID ???!!!
My last flashing was with HTC diamond, and it wasn't so complicated like android. So just need help.
SUT is software updating tool that i found, can't just put nb0 file on sd card?
What is CWM ? Need root ? (what does it mean)
I know is different .32 and .35
Best if i get stable android 4.04 .35 Just give me ritght directions to doing it guys
CWM is an recovery used to install an custom rom
you want to get an custom rom right?
and also the .nbo file should be on the root of sd and installed from bootloader
Sent from my WT19i using xda app-developers app
So i should find CWM for my rom ?
Kernel: Apps_2.6.32.9-perf
Android 2.2.2
Best if i cen get 4.0.4 with all working inside
find CM9 for your device and install via CWM for your phone

Just installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1278027
and starting with CM9 RC2...
Stop, but i think i should go from .32 to .35 first, so how can i make this now.
1. I have installed CWM recovery v5.0.2.7 for .32
For changing base kernel.. you need to flash andro-id rc3 via windows sultr file extention is .nb0.. and you also got CWM .35 base automaticaly included..
And than you can flash the other custom rom for .35 base kernel..

Enable HDMI port
Hi guys,
How to enable the HDMI port in our device especially for our custom ICS ROM?...Is there any tools or step that we need to do so that we can use our phone's HDMI?
After flashing to CM9 RC2 everything looks and works awesome, but softkeys are changed/randomized. How can fix this?

Hi! My question is how does one install clean v30a stock(no root-absolutely stock :cyclops: ). At the moment i'm using the europe open version which i installed from the .kdz file with lg tool and it is to my understanding that lg tool keeps user data when updating the device. I wish to do ,as clean as i can, a fresh install. Thank you in advance!
Official updater tool should work, otherwose nvflash to 10b and use updater

extract .bin and .fls files from the .kdz (with p990 tool kit) and flash them via smart flash...it will be completly stock an no root no other stuff just the stock...it will delete all your data...everything exept the external SD:laugh:
@majoortje: well since i'm from romania i can't update my phone to v30a in an official manner because the latest version available from my country is v20s so i don;t think it will do much good reverting to GB rom.
@ilooze: that might do the trick will try thanks!
I'm from Romania too ) this how I updated my phone to v30a too but now I'm using cyanogenmod 10 .....Spor
At some point i`ll try that too thanks for your reply mersi mult

Basically I want to get smooth flash player working on my P990 and by looking at this old thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1498458
Some guy says that he gets 720p smoothly over Flash Player with temasek's KANG ROM so the question is this:
I currently have a offical v20q rooted and installed CWM recovery, I downloaded the zip temasek's KANG ROM, so what now? Go to recovery and just flash? Or do I need to wipe format system or what?
Just tell me the few steps I'm missing do I need to do something in recovery before going to "install zip from SD card"?
PS: If somehow I don't like the temasek's KANG ROM, how do I revert back? Just make a backup of the current v20q and reflash the backup right?
I don't understand why you want to go CM7. It's old now. I personally never got smooth 720p on Temasek CM7. I recommend you to install stock based ICS ROM if you want to stay near stock or CM10 based ROM if you want AOSP feel. These ROMs should have even smoother Flash Player.

I would also recommend an oval stock rom. Like django manuchete or optithrust. They are fast stable and battery friendly.

I decided to try out the "DjangoManouche" ROM, because it's stock based as you say.
These are the steps:
1 - Go to this Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2020737
2 - Download the amazing AIO tool by Spyrosk and follow his guide to change partition layout from old to new (if you come from GB roms) and unlock bootloader
3 - Install 30 based CWM 5 or 6 (see OP)
4 - Install DjangoManouche
5 - Reboot After Install
6 - Enjoy
So if I got this right, I should go in the AIO tool and do option 4 first which is: " Change Partitions from OLD to NEW layout and vice versa",
then I should Install "30 based CWM 5 or 6", what a hell is that? I already have stock GB v20q rooted with CWM installed, what is a "30 based CWM 5 or 6 and where do I get it?
Thanks alot for your time, will +REP!

First, put the rom on external sd. Then, use option 4, you can automatically choose a CWM recovery which will be installed.

I've been using CM 7 on my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 and recently it has started to crash really frequently... So how do I remove it?
I understand that I'll have to download some "ROM" and go into download mode (how?) and then do something..
Please have in mind that my USB is NOT working for some odd reason but I can transfer files to my phone via Airdroid if transferring ROMs(?) is a thing I have to do.
EDIT: My android version CURRENTLY (with CM) is 2.3.7, before it was 2.0.2.
You're in the wrong section. Please post in the right section next time.
Try searching a flashable Stock ROM. If u don't find one, buy a new USB cable.

So I guess I'm staying with Cyanogenmod...
You can try a Stock Based Rom or even a CM 7 based ROM which is more stable.
A few good ROMs have been reviewed by me here,

You can read and download the one u like or further you can visit my blog www.andro-sapien.blogspot.in

1. Flash your current official firmware via Odin
2. Upgrade to Gingerbread flashing a stock rom via Odin
I advice you to be careful flashing GB roms when you are using Froyo, so you should upgrade to GB before flashing a GB custom based rom
Here It's tutorial about how to flash/upgrade the GT-s5830 firmware

There's no such thing as uninstalling a rom, just flash a new one and you're good to go
Hello guys! So i have got a problem, i want flash a new firmware but the user that had this phone before has allready flashed a new firmware...
It is an old 2.2 FW but i want a 4.3 FW. However what should i do now? Its rooted allready, and there is a old recovery installed(no option to flash roms)
At first you have to flash a Custom Recovery Mode. For example CWM or TWRP.
Then you can flash your Custom Rom.
Just use Google an you will find an instructions.
For the best experience you can flash it to the latest stock ROM via ODIN, install CF-Root (contains CWM too) and then upgrade to CM 10.2 with fullwipe
Just go to the forum and search cyanogenmod 10.2 from ADC team then they will provide the link to install the CWM. You can install CWM through odin (makesure u got the right odin). Follow strictly the instruction that is provided by the forum

I think there are only Roms by the ADC-Team for the I9001 and not the I9000.
