I just rooted with the non downgrade method and busybox doesnt seem to be installed, is v1.20 and above safe, or does it cause bootloop like in ics?

When I updated my LG phone to the V10d using FOTA, I lost ROOT on my mobile. I had try to ROOT my phone again using Gingerbreak but now I can't. So, how I can root my phone now? I must flash older firmware?
Remember that you need to enable the debugging mode. You can also try with SuperOneClick.
I had enabled debugging mode. The application hangs at "Running GingerBreak..." or "Running psneuter...".
I don't know how but when I try to ROOT again the phone more than one time it brings me a window that I had already ROOTed phone.
Thank You
This v10d update is unbranded?

Even V10C also can not root by gingerbreak, I try superoneclick in V10D also can not root (of cause USB Debugging Mode Enable)
I am using v10c and manage to root it with Gingerbreak. Removed all the bloatware. Was your USB debugging mode on?

Ya, my USB debugging mode on, how long you waiting for the gingerbreak to complete the process?
Took me about 1-2 minutes including rebooting. Perhaps your Gingerbreak apk file is corrupted? Sorry, cant be much of a help, a noob when comes to Android.
In gingerbreak it writes me that i have not root but in terminal i can access root account.

Any idea about this issue?
how did you manage to do FOTA? is it an app or do you have to go to the settings like most android phones?
Or isit because im using V10A so there's no FOTA yet for it
v10d cannot be rooted with Gingerbreak
You can update from the settings.

Is there any way to upgrade busybox version on gdx rom?
The rom seems to overwrite busybox on boot...
And I can't use supercharger script with built in 1.15.3 busybox...

I have the same problem!
Yeah, having any luck finding solution?
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
as I know if you upgrade your busybox will make your phone bootloops, for me built-in busybox is enough and supercharger script works well
Yeah, but bulletproofing won't work on with 1.15.3 bb
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
that's right, supercharger doesn't work well with such an old version of Busybox.
I know that, but how come no one can help...
I mean, there are so many devs here and I still haven't heard of solution to this problem...

Just download superuser from App store.
It happened to me before when I was on ICS Stunner..
I'm on xperiatized ics and rooted. However if I go into root explorer, I can't change from ro to rw. Anything which requires root will say superuser has denied it or it hasn't obtain root access yet. Can anyone help?

Hi jumper62!
You could try updating super user app or installing new binary from superuser/ info.
Also, you could try Superuser Update Fixer (free aplication from the market)
Just in case, perhaps you could try installing yor ROM again.
Good luck.

Flash any superuser package meant for arm like universal gb root

Install supersu from market then open it
It will ask to update su binary just do it and you would be good to go

As of right now you can only root this phone, it cannot have mods installed yet as the bootloader is still uncracked.
