How to save or make battery last long for a day or more of galaxy ace 5830
I was also had the same problem wht u also hve now and people were asking every1 tht
my samsung galaxy ace gt5830 charges fast and drains also fast
for eg. if 100% charged is thn aftr 2 min it goes to 85%
so here it is to solve this problem:good:
there are two methods which helped me alot
first method:-
first download this and install it on ur ace
set cpu---download
cpu spy--download
open set cpu and set on main profile
max:-- 787 mhz
min:-- 245 mhz
governor---- smartass v2
then
Click Add profile
Where it says Profile, select it and tap "Screen Off"
max:-- 322 mhz
min:-- 245 mhz
priority--50
governor-- ondemand
so u can make other profile also by tht on ur own and dont make so mch profiles max 3 profile shld be there
second method:-
download:---No-frills CPU Control
its simple here
jst set this
max:-- 787 mhz
min:-- 245 mhz
governor---- smartass v2

I have lgt gt540 with quarx custom rom . Can someone tell me how can i automaticly over/underclock to save power or boost performance. I would like to be able to automaticly overclock to 800 mhz on 100% battery and underclock to 100 mhz when under 25% battery.
I've tried set cpu and cpu tuner . Both can't push the cpu further than 600mhz which is the stock maximum frequency
So yeah guys, as tittle says, i'm now at last set up sucessfully the Ginger DX v22 rom and Alfs Kernel v06 and now i would like to overclock.
As i went in CyanogenMod settings under performace and CPU, i saw that the min CPU frequency is 122 mhz (can be up to 806mhz) and max CPU frequency is 600 (can be up to 806 mhz).
So i wondered maybe some1 of you uses this ROM and Kernel togerther and can suggest me what is the MIN/MaX frequency i can set for phone to RUN it stable.
(I mean in both, in "min cpu frequncey" what can be max, and in "max cpu frequency" what can be the max.
And should i use setcpu app or just TICK the boxes in the performace menu.
Thanks.
122MHz~787MHz with smartassV2..that stable for me.but now i use 600 no OC anymore
Okay will try it out. But why no OC anymore? Stopped for games and new start for battery?
LOL..i dont install any game.

Click to collapse
With 787mhz, i got random reboots each after 15 mins, i think it's because of overheating, will try lower frequency.
its depand on cpu..mine stable at 787 you try 768..i guest its ok
for me best is min 122 and max 748 whit ondemand
you dont need set cpu just set performance menu thats all you need
It's kinda stable at ~768 mhz BUT....
but it very often when playing games says me to "force close" some kind a "call log"
and it pauses the game, and often pisses me of ...
Can i delete it, because i don't even know what is it.
My phone is stable on 768mhz

Hello, I tried searching but didn't find a thread about this. Sorry if there is one that I didn't find. I'm playing around with SetCPU and trying to figure out optimal settings. I know its a matter of preference but I wanted to see what everyones opinion is and what they have theirs set as. I have:
CheckROM Revo noteHD v5
Abyss Kernel
On Demand governor set
Max 1500MHz
Min 200MHz
I want a happy medium between battery life and performance.
I set a profile for screen off to min 200 and max 500.
I've been reading mixed reviews as to whether or not lower speeds actually increase battery life. I originally had the min at 50 but increased it to 200.
Another question is what would be a good temperature to set the temp profile to? Not sure when the phone begins to get too hot.
Thanks in advance
I used FM kernel with ondemand with min of 500Mhz and max of 1400Mhz with 2nd core always enabled, didnt notice that much of a battery loss.
go for rocket rom v22 with abbys note 4.2 kernel
set cpu min 50 max 800
on demand (if u want both cores active)
abbysnote (if u want single core running and 2nd to be used only if required otherwise 2nd would be off)
i got normal usage batt backup of 3 days least
Hi guys
I recently flashed zeus v7.06 (coming from official ICS, I did all the 3 wipes but NO factory reset). The only change I made in 'zeus tweaker' was that I set min frequency to 200MHz and max Frequency to 800MHz. I monitor cpu stats via BetterBatteryStats app.
Now the only problem is that when the screen is on and I do regular stuff like writing a text message..., most of the time CPU works at the maximum frequency which is 800MHz causing battery drain very fast. I tried every governer in zeus tweaker but the same thing happens. I did no other change, no voltage tweaks, ram tweaks or I/O schedule.
Is it normal or there's sth wrong? Because I remember from older versions of zeus roms that when I set min freq to 200, then most of the time CPU used to work at min freq but now it works vice versa.
Thank you very much.
Ok guys I have installed Zeus v7 ROM and you all know there is application called ZeusTweaker which allow me to change CPU frequency. So my question for you is: on which frequency did you set your max and min value, when did you set that frequency and are there any significant improvement that you noticed? Did you noticed any problems? And finally and most important.. is it worth it?
hi, frequency min 300 - max 1300 , undervolted -3, bench OB with antutu before overclock and after for see score.
if you don't play , maybe overclock is not necessary, battery eats more when OB is overclocked
