Alright. I've read quite a few of these threads, but everyone seems to have a less "bricked" tablet than I do. I don't have android on it. When I try to turn it on it only shows the low batter icon and then the plug icon. That's it.
I've tried charging it, it's been charging for an hour with no change. I've done the old Power button + Volume up (vol down, home button, tapping home button) Every combination imaginable. When I connect it to the computer, the first few time my computer recognized a device has been plugged in and started searching for drivers, but now it doesn't do that...also the search for palm drivers has failed. I can't get WebOs to work either...
I'm about ready to call it quits.
Any ideas?
Are you using the 2Amp charger that came with it?

Yeah, you need the OEM cable or a Touchstone. The TP is finicky about charging. Search for it here on XDA; several other people have had the same issue and resolved it with the original cable.
If you want to use another charger, like 1.25Amp then be prepared to wait a long time for it to charge. They really are programmed for the 2Amp as you can see with the notification it shows.

Try charging it, with the stock charger, at least 24 hrs. Maybe even more.
Alright I charged the touchpad for about 24 hours, it now shows the HP logo for a second then says www.palm.com/ROM
I went there and nothing happens, I'm so lost now

I would try WebOS Doctor 3.0.0 first if that doesn't work it sounds like your partitions have become corrupted and you should go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426244 also pay particular attention to page 12 that is what has worked for me.
Good luck

No download mode or recovery. Just boots to that crashed screen. I tried making a jig but the phone would not boot from 300 or 301k ohm resistor. So I only have the att screen, crash screen and I also get the battery screen when I attempt to go into download mode. PLEASE HELP!

You're not hard bricked, hard brick, you'd have nothing at all. try to pull your battery for a couple min. Put it back in and try your jig again(I'll assume it has worked before)
Also, what were you doing that caused this?
What did you have installed for a ROM?
Also, I'm at work and they block youtube, so I can't see your video, can you upload a photo of your screen error

I'm sorry. My mistake was that I did not flash GB bootloader and I attempted to install a GB rom through CWM. My bad.
Download mode doesn't seem to work and I'm not positive my Jig works as I just got the resistors from radioshack and am touching the two pins but the phone does nothing. If I hold both volume buttons while plugging in usb it will have the circle icon and then go to the battery charging screen.
heres a screenshot from his youtube vid for reference.
is this what happens when you dont have the gingerbread bootloaders??

when just using your fingers to do quick jig, make sure your fingers arent touching both sides of the resistor! your finger creates a parallel path that alters the total resistance. its really complicated...... USE TAPE TO HOLD YOUR "jig"
Yahh that is the result of no GB bL and Gb ROM! I'm not mad just people screw stuff up and ask for help when its too late.

The laptop won't turn on? Actually very common on Windows and you're right, it's because of the BIOS. Unless you do quite a bit of tinkering, Windows will not boot with another device plugged in to the USB.

Most laptops don't have the option to boot anything from USB which is why it doesn't boot up. Desktop computers do though because of the mouse and keyboard.

You are mostly right. Most newer laptops can boot from USB if the flash drive/device is bootable and you set boot priority in bios. Otherwise Windows mounts the devices after it is booted. If you set bios for main Hard Drive to boot before USB devices then you wouldn't have to unplug your phone. But you most likely have USB set to boot before HD and it looks for the boot sector of the device.

LMAO! Had to do it bro just to mess with ya!
I just had a BSOD – freaked me out because I'm working on assignments at the moment and a dead PC would be disastrous.
I tried installing the debugging tool to read it but it tells me it couldn't locate the file path during installation – its sounding like its just not liking its own install exe...
I'm using Windows Vista, and I did go for the right version as far as I'm aware, so I'm not sure what's going on. I tried downloading it again etc, no luck. I'll probably spend as much time trying to sort out the debugging tool's issues as working out a solution for whatever caused the crash... so...
If someone who has the debugger installed is feeling like generating some positive karma for themselves by doing a quick read-over as to suspected problem I'd be immensely grateful (this doesn't do justice to how grateful I'd be...)
minidump is below:

Use Windows 7 or XP.
Usually a normal restart works. Although, it might be a good idea to find out the reason for the BSOD.

Yeah, well aware of Vista's issues. Its been pretty much fine, until this BSOD.
Parents' PC is XP but not at home for a few weeks, and have assignments to do in that time, hence wanting to know if there's something I should be doing to stop a more catastrophic event...
Just one BSOD?
Wouldn't crap your pants over that to be honest..............

Nope.
The reason I'm more concerned about this BSOD is that my graphic card has had a tendency to overheat if I play games and shuts itself off to prevent damamge, and even with simple things like word processing / net surfing it sits in the 70sC if I don't force the fan up to 60%.
Case cover is off to help - it started happening after coming back from holidays. Cleaned it out best I could but didn't help the overheat issue, so some mysterious thing happened to it while I was gone.
If it is the graphic card that's caused that BSOD then I need to seriously bring forward my plans to upgrade my PSU to get a newer card before it causes any significant dmage to other parts.
I was putting it off until holidays (in 3 weeks now, but been happening since Feb).
It's things like this that make me glad that I've stayed on xp for all these years. Have you tried a restore point? I think it could be your graphics card doing it when it shuts itself down.

Have you tried flashing a custom rom?
Anyways, I had a Sony Ericsson that did that. It said it was charging but it wasn't, it had one of those weird set of copper (I think) plates that were used for USB connection, charging and headphones. It derped and it was showing a charging animation constantly.
It was an old phone so I just used clean alcohol to clean the plates and it kinda fixed itself, although I do not recommend doing that for your device, because it has a different hardware setup.

With stock sense and a stock kernel it may also be a kernel issue as the kernel contains the Charging Animation configuration and stuff, although flashing a custom Rom would probably solve the problem, although if still under manufacturers warranty send it back and get a new one before voiding anything..

Is their another solution that doesn't take much time to test/try until then?
