Hi...I recently switched from a CM9 Nightly to Jscullins CM10 using ClockwordMod...
When ever I try to turn off the screen by clicking the power button OR when the screen automatically turns of by it self....It reboots
How do i fix this?
Did you use acmeuninstaller 3 to upgrade?

No...i flashed from CM9 to CM10 using CWM
That's why you are having problems.
You should /must use acmeuninstaller 3 to increase your partition size, once you have done that you could run a cm9 recovery and then flash cm10 over it plus of course the correct gapps. It is also possible just to run acmeuninstaller 3 on its own but that's not something I've tried.
Have a read of this thread it's well written has video if you want and links to everything you could possibly need.

Would that be possible while using ACMEUNINSTALLER3?
Thanks for all your Help!
Do you have or did you make a backup before installing cm10?
Edit where I have said acmeuninstaller 3 it should read acmeinstaller3

Sadly...no. Most of the important stuff is in the "SD card" and in system...cm10 shows that i have only a gig of apps in "system". I can move move everything to "Sd card", would i still be able to use acmeinstaller3 without losing ANYTHING
You can try just running acmeinstaller3, but I am unsure of what the result will be.
Good luck

either way, editing something in system (requires root),and BOOM-there goes your warranty
did you try some volume+ apps in google play?(you will still have your warranty but not sure if the app itself works what it is supposed to)

So feamode 1.4 can be use for flashing with new kernel, can i also use it to backup existing one?

Hello! New member here so please excuse me if I'm posting to the wrong forum or anything like that.
Not to take long of your time, I can't get my phone to boot. It shows the 2 LG logos and won't proceed beyond that. So I need to know if there's a way to flash a ROM and a Recovery with it like that.
Thanks for the help.

Can you access CWM? Try to pull out the battery, put it in, press power button + volume down at the same time. Wait til the LG logo appears and release it.

Really?! That's great to know.
Recovery is v5.0.2.7
ETA: I flashed the ROM I had on before all that mess started and now my phone is working again. I'm not sure if things went awry because AOKP's last build was screwed or because I removed the SDcard before flashing in an attempt to force the phone to use the 5GB of internal memory that has been sitting useless since I got the device.
can't I flash the last owaine version I used?

It is.
I wiped every thing before flashing the ROM and I have a complete copy of all the files I had on the SDcard saved on my PC. As soon as it finishes charging I'll move the TB files back to the SDcard and see if I can restore my apps. Unfortunately, I have to redo my system settings by hand. But I don't really mind.
Thanks a lot for your help. I really appreciate it.

I have tried various recoveries, but the only one that will successfully execute is the one that is provided on the same thread as the Dell HC release. I'd like to try yours, giveen, but when I search, I get too many results. Can you provide a link or a thread with the link?

UPDATE: I did try the TWRP port on my honeycomb. It works to the extent of navigation with touch screen( smooth I may add) but will not save a backup correctly. it will not mount data. I assume it is because it handles it differently because it's made for ICS not honeycomb.
I'm a sad panda.

This is further to my quoted post.
I made two backups of my ROM.
The first one to external card (I am on stock v20h modded by Flix) where I had previously two full backups stored - made with regular CWM. Out of the two full backups - one is of the default FROYO ROM when I bought the phone and another is of some other Custom ROM not related to v20h. Now this CWM made a backup of only 28+ mb.
The second backup I made to internal card where previously no CWM Backup existed. But again the v20h backup created by this CWM 6 (touch) which is only for 28+mb.
Its very good since so little space is being taken. But wherefrom CWM is taking its reference as the main backup on which this incremental backup is created?
I have no problems with this but only for the sake of curiosity I am wanting to know the details of this great concept.
I have still not tried RESTORE. I will try that from the backup created in my internal memory of only 28+mb and report back.

Its use the sdcard/clockworckmod/blobs files to check and recover if an error appears so its better to get all the backups in your sdcard, i´´ never use internal memory for do backups, and like you said its take that as reference from the blobs

Thanks. Now I understand. Once it stores all necessary information in "BLOBS" folder (which is of 790+mb in my case) and makes backups of <30mb each time I backup a installed ROM. Good one.

Nope, doesn't work.
I've got some time to try to backup my apps with Titanium first.
Then, used AIOT to do revert to old BL then revert to new BL. Trying to use older versions of CWM and so on. But no luck. When using GjangoManouche x1.2.1 everything is OK when verifying MD5 and able to restore but not with DM x1.3.
Tryed many times with many config combinaisons.
What can cause this? I'm alone or it happen to others too?
Any feedback apreciated.
Forgot to say : I can't do a NVFlash Backup too from AOIT.
Any other tool to FULLY backup my Phone like CWM do?.
Ok guys, I found a solution for my problems.
