Does anyone know how remove or replace the apps being launched on sense dock? In the old sense I know this could be changed as could the applications on the lock screen but I have looked for a week and cannot figure this setting out. Thanks for any help!

Click on the app drawer. Once there, you can add/remove apps from the dock. Took me a while to figure it out as well.

Hi All,
I have tried the demo set of HTC One. I found that they remove quite a lot of widgets like the mail widget and message(SMS) widget.
On Personalize menu, they also remove Skins and Scenes, as well as some of the Lock Screen choices (like Weather and Clock).
My question is, can we have those back for Sense 5? Or it requires some rooting?
Thanks.

My guess is they may be available for download via some sort of HTC app store (they had similar with the One X)
Don't think so.
At least i was not able to find something like that. (no HTC Hub, HTC Likes or whatever)
Also there are no buttons e.g. to download further ringtones or another background pictures/designs like it was earlier.
I think we could downgrade to sense 4 then. We could rip DNA/Butterfly's ROM and port the framework & apks on HTC One.
I guess it should, but maybe one of those who got their phones already can confirm this.

Yes, it does remove blinkfeed. Tested with apex launcher.
It will still be a background process, will it not? Even though its not visible. Like sense Rosie/prism itself

If you do not delete Prism.apk yes but it won't be active, just an apk doing nothing

Torxx, you wouldn't happen to know a way we can have a alternative launcher running and keep blink feed?
I like it but I want my old Nova Launcher back
Alternatively, If I have to make do (which I expect I will have to lol) How can I change the Icons on the home screen Dock?
Or am I just being as thick as a plank??....
Cheers
To rearrange the dock icons, open the app drawer and then drag the unwanted ones back into drawer. You might need to drag them to where they're supposed to go (i.e. I have my drawer sorted automatically and had to drag the camera to where it'd be in the drawer).
You can only have the 4 apps on there but if you remove any, you're free to put whatever you want in its place.

It would be active, continuously streaming content to its interface on the sense launcher
Best option would be to change launchers and then freeze Sense
Just un-check all the options/feeds leaving blinkfeed blank. This way it fetches nothing. Then run you new launcher.

Thanks for the tip but Ive figured that out. The issue Im having is, If I use a Icon changer, it drops a widget on the home screen that is essentially a shortcut to the app you pick.
Because its a widget, it wont let me move it to the dock at the bottom...
I know I could probably go hinting to try and change the pings manually, I just really cant be bothered as I know It wont be long before I flash another rom.
Any Ideas?
Freeze it in titanium if you don't want it.
I don't see a way to do so on the one....maybe i'm missing something. Does anyone know?

HTC Launcher doesn't let you do that, you will need a 3rd party launcher.
I downloaded Nova Launcher from the Play Store. it will allow you to resize widgets
It depends on the widget but with the stock launcher when I added my calendar widget, I just held my finger on it, a blue border appeared and I stretched it to fill one of my screens.
Some widgets don't allow resizing by default and you need another launcher but ones like the calendar do.
Thank You Everyone
That kind of bums me out a bit... don't get me wrong i love some other launchers and stuff but i kind of like having my blinkfeed etc and keeping my phone like it currently is, just wish this was a function built in.....
hey guys, i am sorry if this came up already but i couldn't find anything in the search: Is it somehow possible to create normal homescreens to both sides of the blinkfeed so you could have blinkfeed in the middle and then with a swipe left or right get access to a more AOSP screen? I know that it's not possible with the stock launcher but is there any chance somebody's working on modding it? thanks a lot for any help. ben

i think you can rearrange your homescreen, by long pressing on them, just like apps and widgets

you can long click and move them however this only brings up a menu to delete them as far as I know, and see. there's no way to actually move them around which limits blinkfeed to the left-most position unfortunately

You should be able to remove the piece of **** altogether! At the very least disable it ... If there's one thing that really annoys me about this phone, it's the social integration. Why can't they give people the choice? I don't use and don't want to use Sh*tter or Fagbook so why do you make me have them on my phone, not able to uninstall. The integration into Gallery is worse still, why would I want to see hundreds of random photos from Facebook friends in My Gallery?
... F**k it, I'm going for a J, time to de-stress lol
Hi All.
Quick questions.
I love dashclock, im just wondering if it would be possible to make it my default lockscreen. I mean I can add the dashclock widget no problem, but I have to swipe across to get to it. I would rather have this as my default lockscreen rather than the htc default lockscreen. Does anyone know if this is possible ????
Cheers

On the GPE edition you can swipe to another lockscreen and then press and hold that lockscreen and then move it to the primary position...
Worth a try?

Yeah I give that a go already .... no luck
thanks for the reply though
Exactly the same issue I'm having. Xposed module to keep widgets expanded doesn't seem to work.
Anyone? Can't get this working in sense 5.5 yet either
I dont think that is possible.
Its just the way Sense is programmed.
I'm afraid you'll have to go the GPE way to get this job done.
