Hi,
Yesterday I got an HTC One that I won from HTC directly (I work in the mobile industry).
The phone was already S-OFF when I got it from HTC, but for some reason I can't seem to flash any recoverys.
This is what I get when I try to flash the recovery:
sending 'recovery' (7270 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.140s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: not allowed)
finished. total time: 1.174s
Any tips?

Okay - Don't want to say NOOB mistake but, failure to follow direction - YES. In any case I NEED HELP!!! Like everyone else, sold my phone and attempted to put it back to stock.
Changes made - Changed to Google Edition from AT&T.
- Rooted Phone - S-OFF - Changed CID to GOOGL001 - flashed GE RUU.zip -- Enough said
Changes made to go back to stock
- Changed CID back to CWS__001 -- Turned S-On ** First mistake -- Locked bootloader -- attempted to flash ATTRUU
- Went to flash cyanogenmod just to have a rom and accidentally FORMATTED in TWRP -- 2nd mistake
I have also tried every RUU that might have an inkling of success but all i get is the 12 signature verify fail
I have tried everything twice. But with out S-OFF i think i'm dead in the water.
I tried - flashing hboot1.44 (modifing android-info) and get error

- Also when I try to flash cyanogenmod from recovery, it says Unable to mount system, data, can't mount **** and I assume because recovery reformatted them and the correct file systems are not in place.

Nothing works for me please help
Good thing is that now adb recognise my device and i have put my memory card into samsung phone and with
the help of gold card helper i have made gold card and patched it
now i am using
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2_29_405_5_Radio_32_49_00_ 32U_5_11_05_27_release_159811_signed
i renamed rom.zip to PB99IMG.zip and kept it in sd card
now since the mobile can not do anything so i used the
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2_29_405_5_Radio_32_49_00_ 32U_5_11_05_27_release_159811_signed
clicked on next it sayd battery is less than 30%
Guys M i on right path ????
although i m not too much experienced but i would suggest you try Cyanogenmod10
i used rom files from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265060
i used """BUILD#3: ( WiFi Fixed ) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=370""""
Right idea but TOTALLY the wrong files!
Why use a PBxxxx.zip that has nothing to do with your model phone?
(the correct info is in the data you posted about HBOOT!)
Why are you flashing an RUU for bravo? This isn't even related to the Desire C in any way!
I would suggest before you brick your phone (which hopefully won't happen if you're not S-OFF or Dev Unlocked so security will stop you!) to read up in the forums on the problem you have and possible work-around/solution/s.
Most, if not all, are or have related solutions or work-arounds.
Bashing away at my HTC Desire C
So I have done this so many times in the past playing with my HTC AMAZE 4G, to which i thought having some fun with my HTC ONE would be easy enough. But without a SD card.. i feel SOL.
I have been scouring the forums for possible fixes to no solution...
Currently I have the phone unlocked with "tampered" on the top.
My boot loader reads:
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-1.56.0000
RADIO-4A.24.3263.09
OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909
OS-4.19.531.10
Feb 3 2014,18:42:45.0
For all that is holy, i cannot get this thing to recognize ADB in console. I have been using Hasoon2000's AIO tool, which i used in the past on this phone and my priors.. but when I was in TWRP accidentally deleted my OS..? Everything I have tried has failed.
I am running Windows 8.1 which shouldn't be an issue with my Hboot version, so I am wondering what possible solutions there may be to get this fixed and finally get Cyanogen on this phone!
I have tried using the HTC recovery to go back to stock but i get errors when using the .zip i found which was supposed to be the RUU from the .exe HTC has out and yes i re-locked the phone for this. In terms of anything i think if i were able to get adb working i might be able to send CM11 to my phone directory and "recover" to that?
Thanks in advance!

what is your original cid number, because 11111111 wont be the original, you cant unlock the bootloader as you locked it with a custom recovery on there, and now the only way to get stock recovery on there or flash an RUU is to know your original cid or version main.

I removed my imei, thanks. I honestly thought this phone was S-OFF but I hadn't actually used it for much in over a year since I have a m8. Do you have any ideas of what I can do? my bootloader is now relocked and I can't seem to unlock it.
So i was able to flash a signed firmware onto my phone which for my carrier Bell Mobility, its 3.23.666.1. But now where can I go? i still can't seem to unlock the bootloader. any ideas?

Remove your IMEI number from your above posts! Never post your IMEI.
How did you managed to change your CID with the phone being S-ON ?!!
You can't use a 7.xx.xxx.x ruu unless your firmware is at least 6.xx.xxx.x (you're not)

I'm unable to check it just yet, but it's just a zip file, so make sure it contains recovery.img, also when you flash it, you will need to flash it twice as the first time is just a pre update, after that, check that you have stock recovery by selecting recovery from the bootlpader screen, you should be presented with a red exclamation mark, volume up and power to get the menu, select factory reset.
Now boot to the bootloader and get a new unlock token from HTC dev website, and try and unlock your bootloader, once done, you can then flash twrp recovery, and flash your stock backup, will post the link later, then reflash stock recovery and update, or try and get s-off with rumrunner before updating.
Okay so, I was being all in awe because this was my first root, and I did it, but here's the messy bit, I kept installing ROMs and it felt messy so I went into TWRP (Version: 2.6.3.0) and I sort of went into advanced restore/reset options and I checked off everything. Bad idea by the way. So to sum it up this far, I uninstalled the operating system. The original backup of the original stock ROM was on the phone, it's now lost. I've been trying for days to fix it, and I know I messed up big , I re-locked the phone and I cannot get it to unlock again, so I lost access to TWRP, and I just want my phone back.. When I try to flash anything, from my experience anyways, it says (in this example, the TWRP img file, for recovery),
"C:\HTCOneRoot>fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-m7.img
sending 'recovery' (8432 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.065s]
writing 'recovery'...
(bootloader) signature checking...
FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
finished. total time: 2.073s"
Really, I just want the stock ROM and for this all to be over. If someone could possibly help me, I'd love it. The phone is also AT&T, and the SIM card is disabled for the most part, it's an old phone from my (almost) uncle. As for the info I could get from fastboot:
"C:\HTCOneRoot>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.44.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 4A.14.3250.13
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 1.26.502.10
(bootloader) version-misc: PVT SHIP S-ON
(bootloader) meid: 00000000000000
(bootloader) product: m7_ul
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-8064
(bootloader) modelid: PN0712000
(bootloader) cidnum: CWS__001
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 4221mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: Generic
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
all: Done!
finished. total time: 3.872s"
Sorry for the spam bit, please help? I'm honestly lost. If this problem does get resolved, and I'm honestly not sure it will, I'm also interested in a good, stable Lollipop ROM for my HTC One M7. Thanks! :fingers-crossed:

2.6.3.0 is outdated, you won't be able to flash any recent rom with this, latest is 2.8.6.0
I re-locked the phone and I cannot get it to unlock again

Because you have relocked with a custom recovery installed. Unlocking the bootloader require the stock recovery to be installed.

You will need an active at&t sim card if you want to update the phone. At&t phone only receives update if they are connected to the at&t network.
