Hello everyone,
some apps are not working over wifi - google now, stock weather widget (same time they are working fine over mobile internet).
I feel the problem can be with my home wi-fi spot.
I tried to connect to different wifi spot (hotspot on another android device) and those apps were working.
Any clues about the issue?
May be your router have some special security option..Search your router....

in phone changed my wifi networks setting from dinamic to static, also entered providers DNS numbers instead of 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4

So i have Gb like the rest of the world and the wifi sometimes disconnects by its self every 5 mins or so. Any help?
Me too...only with 2.1 was perfect...all the roms and kernels same problem

I do.. Using miniCM and nAa kernel with no problems. Try changing your router wifi settings like the encryption and cipher..

If you have problems only with an access point, you need to configure manually the conection (using static IP and providing all other data).
PD. I'm user of WiFi on MiniCM + nAa kernel, 0 problems
Tried many time with private router, public routed, wep wpa, no passphrase, everytime , lost signal and reconnect... with version 2.1 original, noproblems

Just bought a 3T and having an issue where it connects to WiFi on setup, but once disconnected it won't reconnect again - keeps asking me to sign in and then fails. Tells me "Connected, no internet" and has the little cross in the WiFi symbol.
I'm on the latest firmware. My router has been reset and is fine, all my other devices connect no problem. I've done several factory resets and even flashed other ROMs. (RR and FreedomOS) Nothing fixes it.
Does anyone have any ideas?? Google has produced no results. Is my handset faulty?

You can also try changing the channel for your wifi on your router.
How do you change to the appropiate channel?

I have Huawei P9 and Honor 8 but same smartphones has one problem. When I'm checking battery usage details - I can see that Wi-Fi is always on (the most interesting thing is that Wi-Fi never was turned on). I tried to turn off "Always allow scanning" but it doesn't help.
Any solutions on this case?

Go to location settings, 3 Dots, scanning settings, turn off wifi scanning.

Hi! After update my phone a few days ago, I have problems with wifi. Sometimes I can't find my home wifi and when I find it, it is very slow for some reason.
I have DT. GRC 8.1.0.4 (lt)
Any suggestions?

It was up and down all the time, not steady number, sometimes stucks to zero for a couple of seconds
With other phone I have
30 download
5,5 upload
Something happen with the phone
I justice notice that on 5ghz wifi works perfects (50 Mps) with 2,4ghz I have problem
2 days later it fixed itself.
Don't know the reason, anyway all ok
To be honest I sometimes find the WiFi a bit unresponsive, also in cosmote network myself.
Lately I also see the 4g+ sign to be present along with the WiFi, a bit weird as well..

Are you missing all other unconnected networks in your wifi list?
Try to toggle WiFi search option for location service.
This helped me to get my wifi work again.
As the title, I have slow loading of pages, FB etc. when I'm on my WiFi. The router is a tplink n600. When in other WiFi or when on data I don't meet this issue. Is there any setting I have to do, like change the channel on router?
