There is a bar that when my battery is low it shows up red, full it shows up white, and when its charging it shows up green and scrolls. I think it was some setting i messed up, but I changed the launcher and that didn't fix it so I guess its a system setting. Anyone have any ideas? I'm running cm10 if that helps.

Don't believe that is one of the options in CM. Do you have any third party apps installed that could make changes to status bar? I think that kind of change can be made in PAC rom, are you running that?
Or you have the miui battery bar from the market installed

I think Rign is right, with PAC you can use ROM Control, under Status Bar, Battery. There is an option for Battery Bar. Perhaps you enabled this?
Edit - Sorry, esloan was probably right about running PAC with ROM control.
I feel dumb
It was indeed a 3rd party app, i installed it by mistake via my computer and it installed on my next boot. Thanks guys.

I've been using Revolt since 1.1 and have to say its been a fairly decent setup and the upgrades have been seamless, but I have a few concerns since 1.3 and things seem to be worse in 1.4.
1.3 issues
FC car home on startup
FC in Google Navigation when Speak Destination is selected (Fixed in 1.4)
FC when trying to access voice mail from Dial Pad
1.4 issues
FC car home on startup
FC when trying to access voice mail from Dial Pad
Ringtones\Notifications have double entries in selection menu (lost all my good ones from 1.3 too!)
Black background on text messages? (I dont mind it but its not consistent with any other menus that all have white)
I'd like to see these addressed or any suggestions if its just me with some of these problems. Overall this is THE rom to have for the phone, I have no problems with 3G delay or bloat/slowness like the factory rom and my phone never reboots or locks up.. just want to say keep up the good work and hope this helps make future roms better!
Hey thanks for the comments! Couple things, quick and easy fix for you for the voice mail button is to a) do as I do and long press
1 (hence the reason I didn't know there was a problem lol) or b) in the op of revolt is the Verizon visual voice mail app, download and install zip in cwm and you will be good to go with the button. Second, the fc on boot for car home is a battle. Lg has made it difficult on this one and so has google. It has been the death of me and I know majorpay has put in a load of work to get it running also, and everytime we think it is fixed it will work sometimes and not others. It is annoying I know but we are trying. The black and green mms is from a request and a port from my old theme for decrap. I am working on porting more apps as I go. The ringtones is coming from somewhere else. I had the same problem where I had downloaded and extracted a rom on my sdcard and it was pulling the doubles from there. Once I deleted that, no more doubles.
I am glad you like it! It is a work in progress and as time goes I will continue to try to make it better!

Thanks for the reply, honestly the FC on car home doesnt bother me nor do I use it so no worries... thanks for the VM tip! that will really fix my only real battle with the Rom at the moment the rest I can live with!
Keep up the good work
I'll add another thing I found, when charging my phone does not show in the top status bar its charging or on the lock screen.... only under the settings menu.

The lock screen is a known problem for the charging status with the aosp lockscreen. I had basically rewritten the smali code for the lock screen to mimic that of the nexus one, and it still did not work. There were complaints of not being able to tell what the charge status was without going into the about menu, so I recoded the charging xml to show battery level. While charging, the led will be green if over 10% and red if under. That way you know if it is charging or not.

Ok great, also to though the battery in the status bar does not change to a charge indicator like it used to. It just stays on the battery percentage.

Right I changed it to that so you know where you stand percentage wise while charging since it doesn't show on the lock screen.

I'd hate to hijack, but on a somewhat related note of Revolt 1.4 findings I noticed when going to attach multimedia to a text message, at least using the stock messaging app, the text is invisible. I'd noticed this back with the RevoBread theme as well. Not too much of an issue just a slight inconvenience but easy enough to navigate past. Thanks for the hard work on the ROM mt!

If you click and drag you can see what the option is without clicking it. Same thing for when you type a name into the top bar to add who you want to send a message to. I use it as a temp fix until mt fixes it.
Today I used my phone on landscape mode. I noticed that there is bluish bright color where status bar usually is.
It is visible at white, grey, and blue backgrounds. I start using custom launcher now to hide status bar.
Do you know how can I fix like stuck pixel solving applications?
Thanks

Just by hiding the status bar and switching between 12/24 hour clocks will help. Also use landscape mode more often. It should clear up. Try to use dark colored backgrounds/themes too. Blue is the first color to cause problems with amoled.
Also lower your screen timeout time to 15 or 30 seconds to reduce wasted screen time while also saving some battery. But hiding your dock amd status bar with your launcher will help go a long way too. I use Nova and set them both to hide with finger gestures making it easy
This will only prevent further damage though. Anything to fix current damage?
Also I tried nova to hide, but bar comes back every time I use an application. So it hides only on desktop. How to hide always? I want to be on full screen always.

All this accomplishes is to even the burn out - similar to grinding a screen with sand paper/grit to "buff out a scratch."
Can't fix burn out.

Actually you may be right. I am not sure but it might me more visible now. It did not fix at all.
Any suggestion to hide status bar always? Also is there any fix?
I don't want to return back the phone because:
1. I have to unroot and change CF-Root kernel.
2. I have to go back to GB.
Then, I can go to where I bought this. And I will need to wait maybe 1 month to get replacement or fix.
If I cannot fix this by myself, I will go to shop just before warranty ends which means 1.5 years later. It is not visible on photo/games/other colored backgrounds.
If no fix, I just want to hide status bar even if any application is open.
No you can't fix the damage that has already been done.
From another thread were I posted....
Use launchers that hide the notification bar on home screens.
Don't use apps that don't have the option to hide the notification bar.
Use full screen browsing with browsers such as Opera Mobile
And don't leave static images on the phone for extended periods of time.
And for the love of god don't use a cradle or docking station because that will destroy your screen! Think about it? Leaving your phone on all day at work in its docking station showing the time and weather. What do you think is going to happen to that screen?
I cannot believe you just made me notice this! Damn that's annoying me now! Blueish tint.
Edit... does having a black status bar still cause this?

I always had black status bar. I don't know how it happened. Now, I start using StatusBar+ . I will cycle through Red Green Blue(maybe no blue for a while) for color of status bar. Also icon colors will be cycled as well.
Sorry I made notice you the defect. I won't buy Samsung phone anymore. HTC Desire was better First slight horizontal lines/tint and now this burn in. I say it is low quality.

Only way is to get screen replaced. I heard other user state Samsung will do this service for you as long as your phone is under warranty but you must send it in to them.
Or pay for shop to replace screen for you.

Hello. I just flashed this ROM and the phone works. I have all my apps and contacts, etc. However, besides it showing in the Software Information section of the About page, there is absolutely no indication of the ROM being installed. My home screen is black and I lost my top status bar normally showing the signal, time, battery life, etc. Any ideas?

Did you "Remove Sense" and select to install Google Now Launcher in the Viper installer? Because that was giving me issues similar to yours. Try doing another clean install and this time either do not remove Sense, or if you decide to remove sense select Nova Launcher instead.
Oops
Turns out I was only flashing the update. After reading more into it I realized the ROM was 1.3g and flashed it, then the update.

Battery Life
So, my phone has been unplugged for about 2 hours. It was barely used and just about all apps are closed. My battery is down to 88%. How can I improve the battery life? Is there any kind of "tweek" available?

HELP! Statusbar changed into white Icons
I need help! I didn't know where to post it, so I try it here..
My "Circle Batterie" in ViperOne 6.2.0 which normally changes the colours (100-75% = blue; 74-50% = green ...) is suddenly white.
And the Icons like the alarm clock, bluetooth... is white too even though I set purple as the colour of these.
Thank You for answer.
Are there any marshmallow roms out yet that have the ability to remove the stock battery icon so you can use the 3minit battery mod without having the stock battery icon show as well?
Thanks
You can do it on stock, so likely all roms can?
Bring down notifications so that the settings gear is shown, and long press until you see a notification that system ui tuner is enabled, then look for it below about phone.

Oh snap.
Apparently I have NO idea what I am talking about
I did it real quick to ADD the %, and remembered there being battery option and being able to remove most everything from status bar.... Apparently everything but battery. Sorry, no help.
Is there any app available to see the battery percentage in notification bar like in samsung mobiles? i.e. percentage beside battery indicator.
I tried few simple apps displaying battery percentage in notification bar....but they always have a notification in notification slide..
Already tried:

I am using stock MM 6.0.1
Should be in Settings/Battery or in Settings/Display... I don't have MM but on KK it is Settings/Battery and on LP it is Settings/Display. Hopefully you can find it... It should be built into the system.

If you pull down notifications - quick settings, youl see a gear icon in top right corner. Press it and hold untill it starts to spin and that should unlock the UI Tuner - once it's unlocked you'll find it at the very bottom of settings menu. Go there and enable embedded battery percentage
Thanks. I'm already using embedded battery percentage enabled using system ui tuner. I'm expecting percentage no. Between network symbol and battery symbol as in Samsung TouchWiz. That means a separate no. Not the embedded one. I'm fine with top left in notification bar also.

there are some apps that show battery percentage when they run, like Power Toggles or GSAM Battery monitor. Cool Tool is also good and usefull, but it shows battery and other stuff using overlay, so you can move it all around the screen. And if you're rooted then GravityBox is the best option I know (requires Xposed)
