Hi, I need some help because I cannot get access to the Samsung S i937 Focus Audio Control Utility, with the diagnosis code. I have followed the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Focus but when I type *#0002*28345#, I don't get any menu. I have tried other code like battery etc and it works. But nothing happens when I type the code above. I am still on 7.5 and the Diagnosis code says ver.0412. I would really be grateful for any help, because I really cannot hear when people call me.

I just bought a used 3 month old AT&T Tilt for $300 and I have tried to unlock it with no luck. Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong.
This is what I got:
AT&T Tilt with Win 6.1, No other changes made to the phone that I'm aware of.
I downloaded "Kaiser-Simunlocker" from this site and followed the directions to the "T".
It all goes just as the instructions say until it is supposed to display the unlock code on my computer. The Window that is supposed to show me the unlock code won't stay open. It opens and instantly disappears... It doesn't stay open even a second so I can't read it.....
I'm not sure what is wrong or what I am doing wrong so I'm hoping (Praying) somebody here can walk me through this.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance somebody can offer.....

The best thing you can do is call AT&T at this number..... (888) 892-9760 Tell them that you bought it used & you'd like the Subsidy Unlock Code for the phone. They're gonna ask you for the IMEI #. Dial *#06# before you call them & write that number down. That'll get you a really good start.

I appreciate the reply however I already tried to get the code from AT&T....
They wouldn't give it to me. I had a hell of a time just getting to talk to somebody because I don't have an AT&T account.
I never could get mine to work because im on vista but you need to open a comand promt, it should be in Start/Program/accessorys if im not mistaking, i am assuming your on step 2 I would try typing something like "C:\Users\Joshua\Desktop\kaiser-simunlocker\step2\kaiser-simunlocker.exe" yours wont be quite like that since your probly using Windows XP but you get the idea
I just got it unlocked..... I found a newer unlocker on here and it did the trick...thanks guys!

I have installed the free antitheft mobile software of F secure at my windows mobile phone {HTC Touch Diamond2] and, of course, I have chosen the number key for entering the software and my mobile and the sec ret code [letters and numbers] to lock it from distance.
Since then, many times when I was restarting my phone I didn’t had any problem to unlock the software using the number code, and then, with the same number code, to unlock my phone so that I can use it.
Unfortunately, yesterday after that I installed another software [swype] and I had to restart my phone, when I entered the same number code I received the answer that the code was incorrect. I tried many times without result –some time I got the message to use my secret code [letters and numbers] which lock remotely my phone but this is not possible because to enter the F secure software I can use only numbers. Finally now, any effort to enter the number code is without result and I don’t get even the message that my code is not the correct one.
I was informed that the only solution is to hard reset my phone-solution that I would like to avoid for not losing my sms, contacts, softwares installed etc. So I would be very grateful if you could help me

My lil cuz brings this phone for me to unlock went through the process got the unlock code when it came time to input the code it says network permanently locked need help asap guys. i'm thinking about taking it from him but i don't want a paper weight.
what can i do to get that lock removed
I am also facing same problem. My friend kept entering the code incorrectly 10 times and now the phone does'nt allow entering code.

Why is Factory Mode running in my background?? What is it by the way?? When I clicked it, it showed ParseService. .What is ParseService?? Does it drain your phone's battery?? Tried Googling, no results. .

It is the service that parses the secret codes which open various secret menus of the phone. If you don't need them, you may remove or freeze it.
as i understand all galaxy devices have FactoryMode proccess.

It's what detects the secret codes in your phone dialer for codes like #*#*#4636*#*#. Turn that service off and those codes will no longer be detected or function from the dialer.

Has anyone managed to unlock a S3 mini VE phone on android 4.2.2 at all ?? As everything I have read on the Internet seems to be for the other S3 Mini model (i8190) and it doesn't work on the VE model
The servicemenu you can get up by using *#9090# but then using the MENU key and selecting [BACK] followed by MENU key [INPUT] then type 1 and then MENU key and select [BACK] again doesn't display any options, therefore I cannot continue the remainder of what would be the (I am guessing) the same procedure as for the previous model by selecting UTMS etc etc
Has anyone managed to work out the correct key sequence for display the UTMS option ?? Or can detail the steps required to SIM unlock an S3 mini VE version.
I stated above, I have trawled the web quite extensively ahead of writing this, but cannot seem to track down the correct info.
Any help is greatly received.
I know you can get an unlock code for it on UnlockBase here: https://www.unlockbase.com/unlock-phone/samsung/galaxy-s3-mini-value-edition/ but they also have a lot of great info on all you need to know about actually unlocking your phone on that page too. Good luck, hope this helps!
Thank you for this, but my intention was to unlock the device without having to pay a 3rd party if possible. I live in the UK and therefore I can call the network provider and unlock the device, but if there is an easy way to undertake this without paying, then obviously I would prefer that...
