rly?no one has an answer..
Well there are some unfinished threads active as well here as on a dutch android community but still no conclusive answer from the OP. So i dont know if it has been fixed yet or that the op had bought another phone etc.
Btw: When does the error occur? After booting or during flash?

when i try to flash...after i press start in ODIN...and the hard part it s that i can open the system but always same programs installed ...like it has been read-only...and if i install any other software i get android process has stop work...and then i can t use it anymore.
It sounds like an write issue inside your phone.
Can you flash an other recovery? If yes flash cwm do a wipe system and note the errors.. Mabey we can search from there.

It froze at factoryfs.img so yes. There is a thread in the General section that you can look into that has to do with re-partitioning and such that MIGHT make it work sort of, but it is really technical and it has no guarantees.
Edit:
You COULD try to Odin one more time, if it will let you back into download mode, but probably won't work.
ill try 10 times... phone going in download mode, but no recovery. and i flash phone since siemens c55, and can do re-partitioning but need link on it, ill try 1, but in that 1. says flash recovery and go in. Ill try flash it and take yellow triangle..

Kinda hard for me to understand. You did or didn't try multiple times? You did or didn't try re-partitioning? Look in the General thread. I don't know anything about it cause I haven't had to try it. You only get a yellow triangle if you flash a custom ROM with PC Odin.
i did multiple times, didnt do re-partitioning but read about and do first action. triangle get when flash kernel or recovery dont remember
link on re-partitioning?

Hey all,
I have recently been given a phone by a friend, a SGS i9000. He bought it as is, and being n00b he couldnt describe anything to me about how or why it was like this. As I have a i9000 myself I took a bit of a look at it, I have no idea what firmware, rom, kernel etc is on it. After researching around it seems to be locked in a bootloop, I can not access any recovery menu, if I hold the power + home button I get the screen below (found this button combo somewhere in the forums, attaining to the Samsung anycall, korean?), but when plugged into my computer it comes up saying "windows could not recognize device blah blah". Any hope??? Last resort will be to get a jig, but ive never had to use them before and not sure if it will solve my issue. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Identify what Phone it could be by checking its top corner for a Tucked in TV Antenna ...if you can pull out an Antenna its an M110S, if not it is an i9000 flashed with a wrong ROM. IF its M110S , just use PIT STOP link below to resolve using How to flash guide
The Anycall screen you are getting means it is still in download mode and can be detected by Odin, if not do a battery pull ( follow My Android Solutions, link below)

Thanks for your reply.
I have looked to see if there is an antenna, nothing there. Ive tried rebooting the PC, and done a battery pull. Whilst in bootloop ive plugged in the phone, nothing comes up. Whilst in download mode, ive plugged in the phone, device detected but unrecognized. I removed everything......then......
1) Uninstalled all drivers and KIES from my PC > Reboot
2) Went to Android solutions, started with step one, no help.
3) Went onto step 2 (Problem:- Cannot connect to PC or Unknown Device, getting Code 43 or any other code or NO response when using USB cable),I checked to see if any pins were bent, and cleaned the contacts using some mini brushes I had. I am using a Samsung USB, same one i use for my i9000, which works 100%. Installed and tried every driver seperately, whilst trying to see if odin would detect anything.
NOTHING :crying:
Tried different ports etc. The only response I get is when ive put the phone into download mode (Home+Power), then all I get when connected to PC is "USB Device not Recognized". Im grateful that I get that, but cant do much else haha.
Can you suggest anything else?? can I even use the jig as a last resort???
Did you remember that you need to reinstall drivers?

I think the solution to your problem has been found, and your phone is actually an M110S Anycall galaxy S..read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1888319...so you need to use the M110S repair kit, download from Pit Stop, link below and flash as per guide or like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28174768&postcount=4774
First of all I would like to thank you xsenman, your posts and guides on these forums have been a huge help. Going along with what you said in your last post, I have started downloading the repair kit, then hopefully do an official update for here (Australia).
I just want to add, you may want to add the the following as a solution to a lot of problems (it helped me verify).
I had a look at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30797809&postcount=1
And about half way through the thread is IMEI check
I entered the IMEI from my phone (an official samsung gti9000), and it came back with a result saying exactly that.
I then entered the IMEI from my friends phone (bought from ebay >:/ go figure), and it came back saying it was M110S but so has it that the internal sticker on my friends phone says model: GT-i9000
If anyone else gets into a confusion like I have, which it is hard to tell if its fake or not. Posting/sticky the imei check will save a lot of time, heart ache and possibly from creating a $200 paper weight.
Once again thank you so much, hopefully this repair kit will work and the phone will be up and running.
:good:
Hi guys, newbie here trying not to brick my s3 mini any more than it is.
It all started with the lack of mobile signal, so i changed the sim card-didn't work
After a hard reset it got worse, as i got a black popup on my screen :
PDA: I8190XXAMG4
Phone : XXXX
CSC : NONE
H/W : Not Active
EF Cal Date : NONE
SMD : 01N, PBA : 04N
CAMERA : N/A, FrontCam : N/A
TSP : 0X11
TSK : 0x19
Band : GPRS, CH : N/A
UART : N/A, USB : N/A
Also, the phone will not go in recovery mode anymore, only on download mode.
I tried flashing a stock firmware with Odin, but no change. The thing is, after the phone restarts, it loses any settings i made (like wireless password, google account, etc), so if i check USB in debugging mode, after restart it will be unchecked again, so for that reason i'm not sure if the reflashing worked.
In download mode it says:
custom binary download: no
current binary:Samsung official
system status: official
At the bottom of the page: HW REV: 0x5
As far as I understand after reading the forum for about 8 hours, i've lost the partitioning of the device.
If any of you has any idea what i could do, please advise.

refer to the threads on loading stock ROM using ODIN
those will provide you with the information to repair the phone in it's current state
you will then be able to fix the partition
Ok. So I tried numerous times to upload the stock software but absolutely nothing happens, even if ODIN says that the upload was successful. As soon as the phone restarts, it loses any settings i had done, including USB debugging mode, so maybe this is why it doesn't work. I tried selecting a CSC, but after restart it's still:''none''.
The thing is that wireless is working, so i can connect to internet, but i cannot download and install anything (no space). I will try and download an emulator via PC and put it on a memory card.
Of course, it won't read my memory card :|

i had similar problems a few months ago. So what did i do:
download the " i8190_buttonenable_cwm6.0.2.7.tar " from HERE (see attached files) and flash it via Odin (as admin)
download This rom "I8190 серв. укр.rar" from the same side and follow the instructions.
you will get a branded lafleur rom (russian), set it to your language at setup.
put any rom as zip you like on your device.
reboot into recovery with vol. up + home + power
fullwipe and flash any rom (as zip) you want.

I did load the pit file and enabled the re-partition. It just doesn't change anything.
This last week it was taken back to the place i bought it from (pawn shop ), and of course, they all say (the experts they took it to) that i did something to it, and it can't be fixed, and of course it's my fault. All i did was to reset it.
Anyway, I'm still hoping to get it fixed myself, with your help, guys.
Thanks.

Hello! S3 Lte (i9305) of my friend is bricked and gave me to solve this problem.. I have never been this stage and I have no idea .. Flashing offical rom with odion is stucked at hidden for so long and reflashed the rom several time but still stuck at Hidden, so I reflashed the offical rom with checking Auto reboot, Nand-erase , and F.Rest.. After checking Nand-erase, rom is flashed successfully but there was no partition .. So I reflash with pit file and repartition but still stuck at Get PIT for mapping.. in flashing .... How i can solve this! Plz help me! I only add PDA and PIT ..
Need other file like CSC,etc (I don't know excatly what are they) This is my 1st experience with bricked Samsung...
Sry for my bad english..
Screen shoot of odion
Before reading, the steps I used is to completely reformat the phone leaving nothing behind.
I have bricked my phone before. What I did is:
1. Download the stock firmware of your phone on sammobile (depends on your country and service provider)
2. Put your phone into download mode (off and on your phone. When it goes to Samsung title screen, press home, off and volume down button at the same time.)
3. Connect your pc to your phone and open odin.
4. Check and see if the message shows pass.
5. Under bootloader, open the md5 file that you downloaded before.
6. Start and wait till it finish.
7. Check your phone and reconfigure as if you have a new phone.
Hope this helps

Hey guys, I am in a big fuss here, I was flashing new MIUI MM 6.0 and it was taking to long to flash.. I was very sleepy then and I accidentally fell a sleep. The battery was at 88% when I started doing it. So I guess the flashing must have finished by the time the battery ran out.
Now I have kept it for charging for over 2 hours and it dint turn on. Then I tried going to fastboot or recovery, dint work. Then I connected it to the PC to see if the phone is on but the display is somehow dead and WALLA!!! It gets connected. BUT there is a catch, it now shows me SIX different drives out of which 2 drives I can access. I dont know whats going on! Someone please help me. I have to travel 450 km for service center.

same problem bro.. how is your mi3 now?
Looks like partition has messed up. Before flashing that MIUI sh*t were you on extended partition table?

same problem here, I flashed SMIUI it says cant mount /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc,. I just let on that screen, and it displays installing SMIUI system. It finishes but phone died after that.
Now same problem with the OP, no power, no fastboot mode, no recovery, when connect to a pc it displays many Drive windows. Please help.
Now I managed to removed the battery still the same no power.
Help please guys.
i have a perfect solution for this problem....100%working...now u have to flash a fastboot rom using mi flash tool from PC.....u can search it on google or u wanna know exact details then u can mail [email protected]
Faced same problem (soft brick) , steps followed to fix it
Connected to PC to check if the phone is still alive or hard bricked (yep it was , i got a lot of new driver pop ups)
I went through some MIUI forum and understood that MM roms have script which changes partition size over stock partition , hence the soft brick if u flash it in extended partition
Downloaded an old fast boot room (MIUI 7 kitkat) and tried to flash it using MIflash tool , but faced another issue in WIN 10 OS.
To fix it had to install latest qualcomm drivers for MI3 and flashed the rom in Safe mode(win10).
Now you can either flash fastboot rom or recovery zip after you change the recovery.
