Problems to update

Hi, so my problem is that when I was with my rooted phone and tried to update to .201 firmware with pc companion, I couldn't because it was saying failure with the update motor and then my phone suddenly turns off. Later I discovered that I should relock my bootloader first but then when I relock him using flashtool my phone gets stuck in Sony logo.
If I try to root after updating I get a message saying "Device must be root first" when I'm unlocking bootloader to unlock root right after.I'm ****ing annoyed, I'm the whole day trying to make this work and I don't know what to do anymore, so please help!
(I'm a noob so please easy guide, and sorry about bad english)

If you have unlocked bootloader first and flashed a custom kernel and Relocked afterwards, you could get a bootlloop. You may want to repair with SEUS. I've heard ppl saying xsp isn't in its list, but I use the Dutch one, which has the xsp listed

How did you fix it! I'm experiencing the same problem as you!
I don't really remember, but I guess I reinstalled an old firmware then updated to the latest version (without root) and then I rooted, btw this video down here helped me a lot (it's the best I found, and I've searched for many videos).Tell me if I solved your problem, if not I'll keep trying to help u because I know how annoying it is.

Getting out of a failed Lollipop bootloop

Forgive the separate thread, I haven't found someone who has had the same problem with the ZR, and I hope this will hit the keywords I was searching for.
Yesterday I tried to update a bootloader locked ZR to Lollipop using PC Companion. After downloading the update, I connected the phone to begin. A couple minutes in, PCC started giving an error that the server was unavailable (?!?), but not to worry-- restarting the computer would fix it. It did not. The ZR was now stuck in a bootloop, and PCC (and SEUS) was of no help at all.
I finally fixed it by grabbing the 4.4.4 kernel ftf from here, and flashing via Flashtool .
It's now back to normal. I'm not sure I'll try the stock Lollipop update again.
Flash the FTF using Flashtool next time, that'll almost definitely work.

Use Sony pc companion.
Follow the steps in the repair section. That should fix it.... You prolly flashed via flashtool without enabling unknown sources and maybe without USB debugging.

When I plug the phone by usb. It starts in flashmode, but my PC Companion don't see phone. What should I do?
Had the same problem, repair with PC Companion worjed for me. As I remember I went to Software Updates and somewhere there is a link to 'Repair your Phone'. As I'm not at home, I can't look after the exact steps, but should be easy to find (or search after 'PC Companion repair phone' ). After this simply follow the steps shown by PC Companion.
huh guys, thanks. It works, everything i need to do was choose repair option with unpluged phone. Thanks for help

This has happened to me a few times. I've had a couple of failed flashes. Just reflash and it's usually ok. I think the Sony drivers are a little flaky.
Hi ,
I am trying to give your answer and you should search into the net .
Hi,
I am a new member here Thats why same condition to me.so i will try my level best to get answer.
If you're using the firmwares from this link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z4/general/ftf-stock-rom-e6553-sov31-402so-03g-t3136161) then you use should the version of flashtool in that Google Drive folder (0.9.18.6). Using the newer 0.9.19.1 gave me the same stuck on modem.sin problems.

URGENT Xperia Z1 stuck in bootloop

Hi guys. First of all, I english isn't my first language so, be patient with me. Okay so, my device was running a CM-12.1 ROM and I decided to change it to the ROM that we can find in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/development/stock-firwware-14-6-0-368-xperia-z1-t3201108, so, I flash it with TWRP Recovery and it got stuck in a endless bootloop (sony logo, boot animation, "NFC firmware act", reboot). I tried repairing it with Sony Bridge for Mac and it says that I have a custom ROM and it can't be repaired. Please, help me, I'm desperate.
You can use flashtool to repair it.
After downloading it, download the ftf from here and then flash it.
I'm not sure about the exact steps on Mac because I don't use it, but should be the same.

Long way to custom ROM

Hello. I have Sony Xperia T lt30p. Some time ago I decided to try to obtain some new version of Android in my phone. Since Sony no longer provide updates to my phone I have to do it by my self. I tried to study what needs to be done and try not to hurry things but there are still some major setback I cannot overcome. I am able to atleast Root my device but I unable to get further. Next step on my list is to unlock my bootloader. I check that my phone is unlockable but I stragle with part where I should connect my phone in fastboot mode and update drivers in my computer. For some reason my phone appears in Device manager just for few seconds and thus I am unable to upgrade drivers. I tried to click on update and choose where my drivers are stored, than my phone disapear from device manager but I keep that window open, then disconnect my device, connect again and click next but updating will fail again. I tried to Google it but I find only one post about this problem and the person solved it.by method I just described. Can someone please help me? I would like to use this thread as solver of my problems to get to higher android version. I hope I will be able to close this post soon
Thank you for your help.
I've had problems with that too, just do thisand repeat the process agin
Also read this guide about unlocking xperia bootloader
Thank you, it worked! Only diffence is that after using method from your first link I instaled this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2635830
and then unlocked my bootloader. Great!
I now have my phone rooted and unlocked.
Next step is to install custom recovery and then some custom ROM.
Do you have any advice guys? What kind of custom ROM would you suggest me? I have Sony Xperia T lt30p with android 4.3.
Just simply 4.3? Or 5.1.1? And why? And do you know any good guide?
Thank you very much
