Extracting sounds from stock - HTC Sensation XL

Hi guys,
I just wanted to know if it was possible to take sound files from stock HTC sense; I wanted to change my notification sound to one of the sounds they have as default, but the ROMs I've tried don't use sense.
Any ideas?

[Q] Backing Up Sound Set?

One of the things that has kept me from flashing my IncS is that I downloaded a Sense Set (Pack) and I don't want to lose out on it. Is there any way to make sure I can maintain said Set Set/Pack (8bit) and flash my phone?

Which ROM??

I want to turn off ascending ringer in my Captivate running Roger's stock 2.3.3. I heard iI can do this with Darky's Rom but am not sure which one to use. Can someone point me in the right direction? Or suggest an alternative method to turn off the annoying ascending ringer? Thanks
Look for Volume-1...-7.mp3 files under system/media/audio/ui and delete them with a root explorer.
Edit: if u don't find any of the files suggested above then it comes down to edit framework.jar if I'm right which is a bit complicated.

[Q] In call echo - help

Hi guys,
I don't want to bother you with (probably) a noob request, but I'm having troubles with my sgs+. It's suffering from the dreaded in call echo bug (the hardware kind), so I tried to disable my internal mic, but I can not, edit the phone.apk for the love of god! Tried everything, APKTool and such, and no luck... (too dumb I guess), thing is I would like to avoid deodexing, flashing of a new rom because it will void my warranty... It's just rooted stock rom.
Can somebody turn of that infernal microphone?
Here are my Phone.apk and framework-res.apk files.

what stock rom are you running? If you're running a version below KQE you should update it. your warranty is void anyway by rooting it, so update it ^^
And I don't know how to do that with Phone.apk, but one thing I know for sure, and that is that framework-res.apk could never ever be related to anything related to calling (it only includes layouts/images)
I can unroot the phone I have it all figured out
It's a PDA: I9001XXKPO (I guess telenor custom rom), that kies doesn't want to update (and it's a 2.3.5 version :/ )
There is a thread here how to do that, but I can't decompile the phone.apk :|

[Q] froyo cream sandwich boot loop?

Hi I recently installed froyo cream sandwich and it works super fast but the bug that had the non readable text on the notification bar was present. I downloaded the update that fixes this bug but I am stuck in boot loop and doesnt want to run the rom. The Dev clealy stated to load on top of rom but no luck as ive been stuck in boot loop for 45 mins now so if anyone can help id be really grateful thanks
never used the fix dorianx made, i always just flashed rom then changed the color in settings... i know it would be nice to just use a flashable .zip for the fix but being you are having issues just do it manually

Thanks for the reply if you dont mind can you tell me step by step exactly what you did to make it work? I too did the color modifications manually for the ICS look but my notificacions are still very dark and barely readable. I love this rom and dont want to have to swap it out for gingerbread again just because of a minor setback.
i dont recall the exact but something like settings>cm>interface>statusbar>choose color on options like clock and such, then you need to go another setting and change some more. not running a cm rom at the moment so i cant check. just dig all over the settings and youll find it im sure

Any way to get stock sound volume in custom roms?

Well, as the title says, in custom roms for this phone I get lower sound volume than stock. Any way to solve this?
