Sprint HTC One not connecting to PC - Sprint HTC One (M7)

I have a Sprint HTC One, but each time I try to connect it to my desktop which is running Windows 7 I get a noice like dana, but more computery. I have download HTC Sync Manager, but no luck. I have tried rebooting the phone and pc, different usb ports, and turned off usb debugging and turned it back on. Nothing was working. I looked it up for a while with no luck in sight. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem and can't get it to boot past recovery.

have you guys tried the Universal Naked Driver?

Incredible S USB not working on WIN7 64bit.

Hello out there.
My incredible s used to connect to my PC but all of a sudden it stopped. I have WIN7 64bit installed and when I plug my phone in, the screen turns on and gives me the options. I select mount as hard drive, and nothing happens. Nothing shows up in device manager, no install hardware pop ups nothing.
Ive reinstalled HTC sync, ive tried different drivers, ive delet3ed the drivers and let them install again. I Even unrooted my phone and restored it to the factory rom.
If I plug it in on a PC with xp it works so its not the phone. Ive been searching the net for weeks and it seems to be a common problem but no one gives an answer on how to fix it.
I cant even connect via hboot. SD card is fine, mounts on the phone mounts in card reader and mounts via my phone from an xp PC
There must be someone out there that can fix this for me.
Cheers.
could the problem be the USB jack in your computer rather than the phone itself? perhaps test other devices in the USB jack on the computer, or test the phone and cord on another comp to help isolate the problem
The Usb ports are fine, Ive tried the front, the back, in a hub, in my keyboard nothing happens. The phone knows its been plugged in as it brings up the menu to choose either charge, hard disk, tether etc... Just the PC ignors it.
Everything else works in those ports.
Anyone?

Thank you for the repose, i tried the same but still it did not workout .
Try another USB port and/or cable
You don't need HTC Sync or HTC drivers for this. Windows has it's own MTP drivers.
I would try uninstalling the HTC drivers, in case they are causing a problem.
Plug the phone in, and check the Event log in control panel to see if anything is flagged.
same issue faced
So did this issue get fixed for you? i am facing the same issue with my HTC One E8 dual sim. and cant seem to find a way to get it fixed.

I've been working with another member on this issue. Go here and read through my suggestions and see if one helps. The first thing I would try, is to uninstall sync manager and all drivers for the phone from your pc. Then, connect the phone and see if it reinstalls sync and the drivers. I hope this helps.

I think is problem is large. After update htc one sucks. no doubt it added some great features. Or it may be hardware prob as always with HTC specially with HTC one X
usb problem
mine has also stopped working. does charge but not connecting to computer . running xp so drivers ok . definitely phone problem as friends htc one connects fine..
Disable usb debugging, it will connect

usb problem
thanks , but tried everything. wont connect in fastboot, recovery or anything. cannot relock bootloader or return to stock so just returning it for warranty as it is with fingers crossed. unless someone can tell me if possible without connecting to pc.
are you using a usb 3.0 port
usb problem
usb 2.0 . i have two friends with htc one's and they both connect just fine.
Same issue here! Last night pulled my phone out and it said "incompatible charger, please use original charger". I wasn't even charging the phone, and now it wont charge or connect to PC unless the phone is off. Tried turning off debug/developer/power save/fastboot/ etc with no luck so far.

[Q] Computer not recognizing device, how is this fixed?

I plugged my HTC One into my computer tonight in hope of transferring some songs across to it, but it comes up saying it is not recognized, i have tried uninstalling htc sync and the htc drivers, tried older versions of both, tried turning usb debugging on and off and also tried restoring my pc to an earlier point but none of this seems to work. Please if anyone can help i would be so grateful.
Check what it shows as in Device Manager. Also try downloading the driver installer from here: www.adbdriver.com
Managed to get it working, for some reason the usb cable will only charge the phone now, it wont transfer data. Thanks for the help though

I had this exact problem. Try using a different usb cable. It may work.

This happened to 2 people I know and myself. My phone wouldn't charge when on, and would not connect to the computer at all. Not even charging. I tried new cables, different ports, but nothing worked. I sent it away for repair. I suspect it could be hardware failure somewhere as this is happening to a few people now. I would advise you to get it looked at. Still waiting on mine to be returned.

try a windows 7 or xp machine if possible or try a bootable linux distro like unbuntu and see if that can see your device, if it can then I would say your HBOOt on your phone is too old for windows 8+, if none of the above works then its possibly the charging port in the phone itself.
