now how i got this.here is the story.
i had sgs i 9000 version
android 2.3.3
jvk version
then i just rooted it using odin.fine.
use speedmod kernel for gingerbrid works firne.
then when i tried to go to that rooted stock kernel made by chainfire it rebbot then
here is story..
samsung boot scree looping again again.
i can enter in recovery mode and download mode,
tried nandroid restore but same happen.
plz help what to do to make it alive.
i know its not bricked bit i didnt worked either?//
Get into download mode and re-flash a stock 2.3.3 or a 2.3.4 rom with Odin and it should help fix the boot looping.
any stock firmware .i just downloaded this from forst link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1011901
will it work?
NO ONE??/my * is burning.i got very sow internet,
Yes any of those in that thread, Froyo or Gingerbread should get you sorted out.
i mean first one 2.3.4 jvq veersion in the given link bddy.is it okay?
should i tick re partion in odin or not with this 2.3.4 jvq version?
JVQ is fine.
If it's a 3 part firmware (separate phone, pda, csc), then 515 pit is required with repartition ticked.
hey thefirmware i download is just .exe file.one file what to do
Uploaded it for you.
Just unzip it then add it to Odin.
Double click it as it has to extract, which then will give you 3 files.

[Q] Flash RevolutionRom on SGS I9000

Hi guys,
I'm really interested in flashing Revolution Rom to my SGS1. It currently has CyanogenMod7 on it.
I've looked at the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1236432
but can't figure out if I'm meant to just flash the rom or if I somehow need to flash a stock Gingerbread first before then flashing the REvolutionROM.
Can anyone assist?
Apologies if this question's already been asked, I did a thorough search but couldn't find anything. Happy if you just point me to another thread if it's already answered.
thanks
Aaron
To revert from CM7 to any other samsung rom you need to first flash a full PDA stock rom with odin. with repartition. and 512 pit.
then you can change to what ever rom you want.

Hi mate u just go to www.samfirmware.com make an account and chk the firmware sec in toolbox and then select ur model and download the latest formware...JVR is the latest firmware on samfirmware download it and download odin extract that downloaded folder and u have 4 file 1 pit file 2 code 3 csc 4 modem.
Now open odin and put these file respectively ( dnt forget to closr kies if u have even from running services on windows) now put ur phone in download mode and connect through odin and tick the repartition on leftside and then start odin...
Of all goes well u r on stock GB
wait phone to phone to boot
now choose any kernel to root ur phone and again turnoff ur phone and get in download mode and choose that kernel in pda option of odin and this time unchk the repartition and start odin
now ur rooted
then download custom rom and put in ur internal sd and go to recovery or cwm mode and flash that rom.

[Q] Phone stuck in boot loop. To repartition or not?

Hello Everyone
I was using crom bean v 1.4.0. To try another rom I factory reset the phone, did wipe cache and dalvik cache and also format/system. After that the phone didnt boot but could enter recovery as well as download mode.
I tried flashing xxjw4 stock firmware but it enters recovery with errors and then in a boot loop. I have read a bit and I guess I need to flash a stock firmware (with 3 files). I am currently downloading xxjvu4 firmware but would prefer if there is some direct link for the same as the current link is quite slow.
Now when flashing a stock rom should I have repartition ticked or not. Some posts say is should be ticked while others say it can brick the phone!
I am not sure what to do and how to recover the phone.
Help would be appreciated.
Regards
Every other article on net says repartition should be ticked but this article says
DANGER: Re-Partition Option should be “UNTICKED” or else your phone may get bricked.

just use a downgrade kit or rescue kit from MY Android Collection , links below ..you only use repartition when using a PIT file, so no need to tick it IF you don't use one. At the same time MY Android solutions ( link below) , have solutions for your problem too

in your thread. Now I have stock jvu downloaded from samfirmware. Can I flash it on jellybean with the 512 pit file and repartition checked?
I read somewhere there can be issues because of jellybean using a different partition layout?

you are downgrading so nothing to worry about except you should save your important data , if any and also save you efs folder. just follow the guide at samfirmware or at RAMADs thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881

Though I do not have any important data How would I save it (If I had) since the phone is in boot loop? And also what is in the efs folder and how to take a backup of it?
After reading many threads the procedure seems to be like. Open odin. Select corrosponding files for csc pda and modem. Select pit file and select repartition and start the program.
I believe there is nothing more to it or is it? And no issues about what kernel it is and what partition it is if this method is followed?
Thanks

you only need to read your phone WIKI to know everything about your phone
I was able to recover phone by flashing stock xxjvu. Thanks for the help.

[Q] I have bricked my I9000?

Hi,
I have a I9000BVJP4 (FROYO.BVJS4) phone bought in 2011 from Orange in the UK. I was trying to root the bastard to get Jelly Bean on it. I coulddnàt get 4zroot to root it, neither Once Click root method (earlier would not reboot the phone and Titanium said it wasn't rooted anyway and the second just said "failed" when it got to the end of the process).
So I decided to use the CF root method. I downloaded the various cf kernels here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108 as I thought I needed to match the JS bit. So I tried JS3 which looped on intial screen the first time. JS5 and JS7 just hang on the first screen. Clearly I can get ODIN 3.07 to upload these kernels so I can get the phone to switch to download mode. THe problem is that it hangs and never boot.
I'm a bit of newbie with this stuff but I understand that as long as i can get into download mode I haven't bricked the beast. THe problem is that I donàt know how to out of this situation. I bet it's just a question of finding the right kernel and uploading with ODIN. Any suggestions? I presume the phone is still unrooted (or maybe not now that I have all these kernels uploaded through ODIN?)
Your help would be most appreciated.
Many thanks
Antonio

Mate,
cheers for this although the XXJVU ROM you suggested didn't work. I decided to give the XXJVT version a go which I downloaded from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881 and I tell you this rocks. I've finally got rotation working again and have got rid of all the crap that Orange installed.
Do you know if Jelly Bean works on the I9000 and how it performs? Is it worth installing on such an "old" device? BTW, I used the same pit file you attached. That did work. Thanks again.

No problem ever . yep, Jellybean works , infact it rocks ! . the stock gingerbread firmware is crap if compared with jellybean . I use cm 10.1 Android 4.2.2 makes my phone butter smooth doesn't matter its quite old though but works like a charm. did you root your phone ? using semaphore kernel ? you have to root it first to install jellybean for XXJVT , here's the link for the kernel :-
http://78.46.194.137/kernels/Semaphore_kernel_JVT_1.9.1.tar
flash it the way i told you , you have to select it in the PDA file option in Odin. hope it works for you now .
