Help phone blocked - HTC Desire C

I installed the ROM "HTC Desire C Nameless ROM v7.2 Build 8", but the wifi was not working, so I decided to install the ROM "[STABLE][ROM][4.1.2][JZO54K] CyanogenMod10".
Now the phone locks on the "htc" boot. I have tried using the recovery but when I press "power" does not select anything!
I do not know what to do.
can someone help me?
ps: sorry for my English, I'm Italian

have you tried removing the battery? and restarting phone, did you follow guides here for rooting phone, flashing rom and kernel etc?
answer these questions to start and then people can help.
easier to give assistance when more info is given.
I am new here myself and read all i could before i attempted rooting and all that goes with it.

thank so much all!! I have flash boot.img , but now have another problem:
when i restarted in Recovery modality the power buttom don't function and i can't selection the option "istall to SD". I removed the battery and turned the phone and installed the ROM from the ROM Manager app.
It seemed to go fine, but now the phone gives me this error:

What can i do now??

Otherwise you can recommend a alternative ROM? (or is better to istall original firmware? )
Just try a ROM stable and fast (my phone was brand vodafone and went slow). I'm not a developer

extract the boot.img that's inside your rom and put into the android folder that's may be on C, in this folder put the next files: fastboot.exe , adb.exe . AdbWinApi.dll and AdbWinUsbApi.dll , here is the download link http://d-h.st/iqA, you must to have the htc sync installed and the java (jdk) the last version too, after that in cmd type cd c:android to navigate into your fastboot folder, after that type in cmd fastboot flash boot boot.img and hit enter, bang and is done, is verry simple is just like you flashed the recovery before root your phone. i hope it will be halpefull for you. GOOD LUCK

But changing recovery image did not helped me i had to use SUT but again i lost my touch based recovery.

That is the wrong way to do it, when flashing with SUT you will overwrite the images and you are where you came from. Looks like you have a mismatch of versions. For kernel 2.6.32 (GB) you need the older CWM from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1278027 (that works not with Sharp ROM, RC3 or any ICS version). For kernel 2.6.35 (Sharp, RC3 or ICS) you need the one linked earlier here. Just place the recovery.img onto the phone and reboot. Done.

[Question] (Not) Working apps

Hello everyone,
A time ago I wanted to download iReal B for my phone.
I saw it's not possible because of the processor.
My question was, could I mod it (maybe with CPU sources (if they have been released, I don't know)), so it can be ran on this phone?

Sorry I forgot to say I've tried to install all apps (iReal B, Reckless Racing 2, and Reckless Getaway) (with Blackmart Alpha), but if I install them, my phone doesn't say: "Application installed.", but it says: "Application not installed.".
That's the problem.
Then it wont work. if you try and push through adb it will say something about your CPU not being compatible. Unless the games can be ported to Armv6 devices, you are s##t out of luck. Sorry.
Thanks if i helped you, even if it wasnt what you wanted

Yes, if I install them through adb i get:
Code:
Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_CPU_ABI_INCOMPATIBLE]
(on all 3 apps).
Is there a way to install them even if the CPU is not supported?
Or port them to this CPU?
Or something else?

[RECOVERY]Build 3-ClockworkMOD 6.0.1.4 + Aroma installer for htc wildfire[08/10/2012]

This is an UnOfficial ClockworkMod 6
ClockworkMod-6b3.img
ClockworkMod-6b3.md5(i use Md5Summer)
Aroma installer 2.56
Download
Aroma File Manager 1.80
Download
It only works with this recovery!
I already resized all the imgs and the UI
Do not edit the font size!
It is fully working.
I added a better italian translation by me
TEMP CLOCKWORK 5.0.2.8 -download-
Since we don t have a fully working clockwork 6 you may need this special zip.
It will load clockwork 5 on your phone without flashing anything.
It is a TEMPORARY RECOVERY
Use it to make a backup or restore a backup or install a rom that DOES NOT use aroma(but you can install a rom even with clockwork 6)
ENJOY!
What s new:
Code:
[B]Build 3[/B]
small fixes in the init.rc
the recovery should now ready, waiting for a kernel fix :D
fixed offmode charge
[B]Build 2[/B]
removed a few background imgs,so we can read the text
fixed the progress bar
this build is now using some files from clockwork 5(but the backup is not
working anyway,neither the soft Keys)
Bugs
Code:
The font is too big
Not all the words are displayed while installing a rom( i mean for ex.
Formatting system,installing busybox etc..)
Backup: It does NOT generate the md5 file.
Backup: It can t backup sd-ext(any fs)
Restore: It can t restore a clockwork 6 backup
More Info
Code:
Yes,i m sorry,aroma file manager can t copy files(i did a mistake,i pressed
cut,not copy(i think is not a bug of the recovery)
Restore CAN restore a clockwork 5 backup without the sd-ext partition
How to install:
Code:
You need flastboot
put recovery.img in /android-sdk/Platform-tools
open a cmd or a terminal(Linux)
the command is:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
or
./fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (Linux)
PROOF OF CONCEPT
ClockworkMod 5.0.2.9-Aroma fix
download
This clockwork 5 CAN run Aroma but....
Bugs
Code:
same as clockwork 6
I need help from someone. The cause of the bugs in the recovery is the kernel.
I hope that someone can fix the zImage of the recovery.
Thanks to Nasty 007
cool, I will try both the recovery and the aroma installer, you can do the same thing to the aroma file manager?
Great. It is touchscreen update with awesome features. Unstable but will be great when it is open for use.
Thanks kylon .

Any bugs?
Just checked it out.
Looks nice, I like the textured background.
I noticed, that we can't use the capacative keys for navigation anymore (back=back).
yes,it has the same "problems" of the old clockwork 2

two question becouse i don't understand other posts
1. Can I put recovery.img on sdcard and flash it from hboot?
2. I should flash aroma from recovery?
Sorry for my bad english
I have tried all three but the recovery have reset my custom mdm, with aroma filemanager is possible only see the file and not do operation like copy, cut, etc, when I flash aroma installer I can see only a demo. This is my experience someone else? For me is a god job but there are more work to do
Or I haven't understood something?

you didn t understand
Aroma installer IS NOT A RECOVERY
Aroma file manager CAN COPY,PASTE,MOVE ETC.., just press the menu button on aroma(not the soft key) and you will see all the options or press and hold a file and you will see all the options
This aroma installer is a BASE
aroma installer help you to customize a rom before install it directly in your phone
THIS aroma has no rom!
i hope is now clear
is not possible to install a .img with the hboot
No you can't install the recovery in hboot if not use pc49m.zip.
If you would, try to replace the recovery.img in an other pc49m.zip, it will work
Files aroma works only with this recovery, flash and try

[ROM] Stock HTC Rom Perfect for restoring

Hey guys, i know it is nothing special, but i thought I would post this to provide ease for users to restore.
Below you will find a download link for the stock rom, and just below here the instruction in order to restore, so here we go...
To restore follow these following commands:
First download and install the zip from this thread, this will bring you back to stock, however, if you want to flash over your recovery and kernel follow the two steps below.
Do this AFTER you have flashed to zip, if you do it before you cannot flash any zips at all! Follow these command carefully to flash back to stock recovery:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Once you have completed, the above step follow this following command to finish going back to stock:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now your phone should be completely stock.
Download link: HERE
Please Note: This is the Stock Rom which Einstein.frat removed, my friend mblex provided me with the file, so credits to him for that.

Very useful! This would make me fearless in trying out other kernels! Har har har! :victory:
You can't really brick your phone flashing kernels, you always have fastboot to fall back on.
To hard brick your phone, you would mess up the hboot, which is bad news because think of that as your phones BIOS, without that function you are basically screwed.
But your safe flashing kernels, the worst what can happen is that it won't boot lol.
