Hi All,
I have Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i (rooted). The In-call volume of my phone (for ear phone only) is very low. Is there any way to increase it. I have gone through this link. But my phone doesn't go to service mode by dialing *#*#197328640#*#*. I managed go to service mode by dialing *#7284#, but just blank screen appears under the service mode header.
Any suggestion how to achieve the task as explained in above link?
Regards,
Jitu

Well, the thread was for Ace 5830 not 5830i/c/m..... And the OP clearly Mentioned that he had only tested it on CM7 7.2.0 RC3 for ACE (Not ACE-i) so he himself is not sure that if it will work or not on other ROMS. Btw, have u tried pressing the Vol Up Button Multiple times while you are listening to a call???
How to access "Service Mode" from Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i

*#*#197328640#*#* took me to services mode without any problems on "Stock Rom with Custom Kernel". I guess you should take a nandroid backup, reset the phone to factory defaults and then try. I'm not sure which Rom u are using, but if it is custom ROM then that may be a reason behind the code not working for u

Make sure you have both GearManager 1.4 installed and the stub. Apk (check this forum for the stub app). After you've tried once, check /sdcard/gear/ for any .apks and install them. When you try to pair, if you don't see a prompt on your device, hit home and check notifications for a pairing prompt then if you have to approve that way, go right back to Gear Manager using task switcher (don't launch from main shortcut).
I'm available tomorrow during the day to assist via TeamViewer if you'd like. I'm almost done with my tutorial that should work with any device running >4.2 and working BT4.0. It will include files too. Just trying to get weather working first.
Running PACman (Paranoid Android [Cyanogen Mod]) on Galaxy S4.

I'm in the US and flashed the UK version for myself. What do you need to know? Grab the FW you need from the FW thread and then follow the instructions to flash in the "rooting" thread (follow the steps to unroot/recover).
hey guys have you met the issue after flashing the mod ? TBH the mod was awesome and made my phone well-debloadted but it makes me sacared that if I turn my phone off to sleep and wake up in the morning the phone might be stuck in bootloop and I have to use odin to make everything from the start:crying: while it doesn't happen everytime , thought the phone plays trick on me, I don't know what would happen when I was asleep

It's not his modpack that is the problem. It's the twrp-solution.
But yes, the things you write about is why many skips the few things that mod gives as of now compared to instead running John's Magisk/stock-recovery dito instead.
