Which 'All in one' is this?
Is it this one [Toolkit V1.3]Root , Unlock Bootloaders , Flash Recoveries & Kernels...
If so then it certainly looks like an old version.

I am facing the same problem, the kit is very annoying it says done for everything, it doesnt explain what happened or shows an error , anyway they did it for free so we should be thankful. Your phone should show a screen that you agree to unlock the bootloader did you see it ? It says press up volume to agree down volume to disagree .
Sent from my Lg p-880 using xda premium
Sorry guys, can't help you with that. I unlocked mine the proper way as I much prefer to know what, exactly, I'm doing.
I can only suggest that you try to unlock your bootloader the official way, or the unofficial way by blowing the fuses, and see if that works any better.

You really, really need to learn to search and start reading. ADB is NOT a Windows application. You need to open a command prompt window, change to the ADB directory and execute the commands from there.
Every single thing you have so far asked has already been answered many times so please stop being lazy :banghead:

About
The WinDroid Toolkit is a Windows program built in Visual Studio using the C# programming language that simplifies the rooting process for many Android devices. The toolkit makes it easy to unlock your bootloader, flash a custom recovery and gain permanent root. It also includes other functions such as flashing kernels, pushing files and installing apps. If you find it helpful, give me a thanks and a donation if you can. If you find a bug or have a feature request, feel free to leave a reply. Thanks!

I have a Vivid that has been "abandoned" since I got my GS4. I did like that phone, but didn't do much after rooting (still stock ROM, I believe). I still have my unlock code bin file and would like to get this device up and running again after I get a new battery. Is your utility something that I could use to update my device?

If he has problems with drivers and would search for it he would've probably got something like "try other drivers" or "reinstall drivers".
Or at least try kdz flash.
Search for brick and then follow the suggestions given on the outcomes.

You don't spend long here and don't contribute to the forum. The first rule of XDA is SEARCH
When you see the same questions being asked every day simply because people are too lazy to bother searching and reading it becomes a little bit tiresome to say the least

Seriously, if you can go into software mode, you must be able to flash kdz unless you have a developer device.

seriously , in a previous help thread u said its a developer phone. if u have the "not for sale" on the back of the phone , forget it, it wont come back to life so dont keep asking. else u need other drivers for apx. and if the lg support see ur phone then go in C:// where the lg support is and in there u will see the files u need to flash the kdz.

Its very likely out device makes use of a sbk, which it uses to encrypt all nvflash communication (nvflash is a nvidia protocal for acessing pre-bootloader states, with tegra devices this is done through apx mode.) Without knowing the sbk we have little hope of accessing nvflash via apx. I dont think it would be impossible to use a nexus 7 / asus tablet method to access nvflash but its a seroius undertaking for even the most skilled of developers.

Hello guys, I decided to post the an easy method to root your Optimus 4X HD! You don't even need to use any command prompt for this, or run any commands. The only problem is that this is chinese language, so you have to click the exact buttons I tell you. At the end of this tutorial, you will have a rooted phone. Until now, no bricked phones have come out of this process! It only takes 5 minutes!
ALL Firmwares are supported.
1. Download this file: MOD EDIT
2. Install the software, using the installation buttons as you would on any other windows installation.
3. When you have installed it, you will see a green button, press it. Then connect your phone on USB debugging mode.
4. When the phone is connected the software will recognise the phone and the green button will show "ROOT", click on it.
5. The phone is going to be rooted in some seconds and the process is finished when it will show a tick on the software.
6. The phone will reboot.
7. When it is rebooted, go to google play and download super su.
8. Open super su and it will ask you to update the binaries, and you must click on update, and then normal.
9. A window in chinese will pop up on the phone, this is the screen that allows you to give root permissions to any app. You must click the button on the right.
10. You are done! Root process is complete!
11. This is the most important step. Leave a thanks! If you liked the tutorial, please show it to me!

Trust me it works. I used it on my phone and it worked perfectly, and I can show you other people that also made it work. You don't even have to worry about installing extra stuff and bricking it..
Not many people will try this if it is in Chinese ass well as no screenshots or some proof of the ability of this "tool".
And adfly links aren't allowed either if I'm right but I just leave it to @laufersteppenwolf

Proof that it works.
Witch version of the P880 did you have on your phone, when you tried this?
V20b?

All the versions should work, not sure about the version on the P880. When I tried with my P760 it was on the V20 though.
Okey, so I tried this, and a can say that this is working.
I followed instructions, was a bit anxious at first about this, and according to my "Root checker", "Root access is granted"
:good: :cyclops:
If anyone wonders, i'm on V20b
And as the OP said; Takes no more than 5 minutes!

You're right, adf ly is not allowed, goo.gl however is allowed, as it's only a link shortener, not pay-per-click
However, all it does is making the impression there is something to hide, which means less users will click it

So this means this is untested?
Thread closed, as this is untested, as well an chinese-only, which can cause problems during the rooting process. Also the way it works is not really clear, as a virus scan should bring up something, but it doesn't... (yes, every rooting kit is some kind of a "virus")
