Hi guys, I have looked around but still find the guides confusing for unrooting the H3G HTC One (I'm from the UK), the main reason I am confused is that I see there a different versions of HTC One - such as International, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile. Then I looked at a thread where it said World Wide English .401 (I think it was) is that the firmware I want, or is there another? I have been on HTCDev and have downloaded the H3G version of the RUU, but whenever I see people do it on YouTube they all seem to have an *.exe that they open and it does the process for them.
I have looked for posts similar to this but haven't been successful, so any help is thanked.
Thank you
Hi I rooted my One specifically to try out the GE rom. I can't tolerate the couple bugs so I want to go back to offical att stock. I'd like to stay rooted so I can try better GE roms when they eventually release. I found this guide here to do so, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265618 ... It's in the middle of the OP. "Rooting stock ROM"
Is it really this easy? Just download Rooting Tools and flash in twrp like a normal rom? - http://goo.gl/J3zJv
Why is it downloading as Android Revolution when is supposed to be the official ATT rom? Sry for 50 million questions, Thx in advance
Stock is not ARHD even if Mike posted it. It's simply the ruu unmodified. And yes, you can flash rooting tools and be rooted. It's simple as that.

Okay so I can flash that specific unmodified ruu ftom ARHD and still get official OTA updates from ATT? ( if they ever do come lol) That's sounds much easier than unrooting and locking my device again

Hi,
I am an owner of the HTC One (M7). Unfortunately the Hong Kong Variant 622 (Due to an eBay seller lying to me and telling me its the European one).
Anyway, I installed the unofficial Cyanogen Mod for it and it worked great, until I needed to get it back to stock and use an RUU, I flashed the European RUU and not knowing that the phone is the Hong Kong one the phone is now concequently bricked and there is no Hong Kong RUU to my knowledge after numerous hours of researching.
My phone now wont even fastboot and instead of reading fastboot usb, it reads fastboot ac? Might be a computer issue so I am yet to try it with another PC.
If someone could help me with this or can help me find an RUU (preferably an .exe version) I would be very happy.
Thanks
Hi, I have a a sprint version HTC One h-boot 1.44.0000 Unlocked with S-OFF. I am currently living in a GSM carrier country and as such i use a sim card from one of these providers. I currently only get a GSM data despite the fact that the phone supports up to LTE. I have read this is a Sprint model limitation.
I want to upgrade from the 4.1.2 that I am currently running to a 4.4.0? version. which roms can be flashed to my phone without it been soft bricked?
I have read alot but its kinda confusing. Please advise me accordingly.
I have a UK 02 branded Desire C. I unlocked it with HTC Dev, installed CWM recovery and then installed some custom ROMs. I now want to restore it to stock ICS 4.0.3 which I have but had hit an issue. I installed the untouched v2.0 that is available on here but this ROM doesn't have NFC which the original ROM did. I have found some RUU's for this device but not for this CID (cid: 02__001) - the ones I found are HTC only CID's and a H3G one. I am looking for an O2 RUU - is there one available anywhere?
Andy
