Solved by restoring KK4 stock used corn kernel then installed CM 7.1, CM 9.1, CM 10.1.3, and 10.2. Works great now with IMEI intact.
I install KK4 stock Gingerbread installed recovery then proceeded to install CM it updated recovery rebooted then tried to flash again it said successful then rebooted only to see it return to recovery. By the Cyanogenmod logo did come up but that's all got then reboot into recovery.
did you wipe data and do a factory reset?

Hi guys
My friend has a Galaxy Ace running Froyo 2.2, everything went so OK till he tried to update into Gingerbread 2.3.4 via Odin & cooper
Device boots well and everything is smoothly good, but when he tried to access WiFi, it not works yet!!! The Bluetooth stopped working too
Tried to give him another version of GB 2.3.6 also flashable via Odin, nothing changed!! Tried to flash 4.2.2 CyanogenMod, thinking it's a Kernel issue, nothing changed too still not working
any help?!!

Flash a fresh stock via Odin and then do wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition if it doesn't work you could try to flash CF-Root b84 kernel over android gingerbread it contains useful libs and wifi modules
Recently he told me something strange!!!
he flashed CyanogenMod 4.2.2 without being rooted yet!!! only custom recovery was installed.... can it be strange??

...do 3 wipes via CWM 5.0.2.6 FIXED and then use Odin to flash a fresh stock finally do wipe data/factory reset and cache partition. Check out if your wifi works, if not flash ROOT + CWM and finally flash Cf-Root b84. If your wifi still not working, It might be a hardware trouble
Can it really be a hardware fail?? Everything was working PERFECTLY just before update!!

Try dialing *#*#526#*#* in Stock rom
I was playing around with a few roms and kernels, I then got CoCore 6.8 and flashed it through CWM onto ParanoidAndroid and now I cant access my phone or go into recovery. When booting normally, android.phone Stops working and when booting into Recovery I just get a loading circle ( similar to the buffering circle on YouTube )
Thanks in advance.

Be more specific: flash from what rom and kernel?
You can read the thread about downgrading from JB to GB, it has all the details you need to start from scratch.

So I had the ParanoidAndroid 2.90 rom, then I flashed CoCore .8 using CMW onto it and now I cant accces either my phone or recovery.
Trying to go back to stock with Odin now.
PA is cyanogenmod based, and such ROMs only work with cyanogenmod based kernels. On other words, cocore is just for stock roms. You mix both of them and you'll end up with what you have right now...
Flash everything again with odin and you'll be fine!

Okay, I got the tock onto it but its stuck in Bootloop :/
Will I be able to just flash CWM and go back to a Backup without using odin to reinstall the stock ?
Okay, I managed to get CWM up and running, currently im restoring a Backup from this morning.
// Problem solved, restored perfectly and works now. Thanks for the help

Did you do a clean flash or did you install via CM Updater?
Try backing up your Apps with TitaniumBackup, wipe system, data, dalvik cache and cache in Recovery (CWM 3.0.6.4 for Kit Kat, I think) and flash Nightly + gapps.

Installed via CM Updater. I have used this for CM 10.2 and all versions of CM 11 up until current nightly without bootloop problem.

Honestly, I am not using the Nightlies, so I can not report anything similar happening to me - it must be a problem with the latest build.
A bootloop usually means that the Kernel wasn´t flashed correctly. Just try directly in CWM and report if it worked out.
EDIT: Just found this thread that reports the same issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658262
both 0222 and 0221 seem to bootloop. 0220 works however.

Yes that has been my experience; I hope future builds are fixed
Seems to be fixed with nightly from 2-25

Hi,
Try reverting back to CWM 5. As far as i know, CWM 6 was made only with the intention of flashing Android 4.4 Kit Kat builds. Do post your result. You can find the CWM 5 link below. Hope I helped
CWM 5.0.2.6 fix for Galaxy Ace S5830
Hello,
I had Cyanogenfortomorrow 1.4 based on CM7 on my i9000.
prepared to install mackary rom, did as the guide said... updated first to CM9 then to the rom which is based on CM11.
since then my device is stuck in recovery, I boot it and goes back to recovery even after installing several other roms and kernels.
I've searched everyone and tried all of the following from the guides..
I have tried installing:
Semaphore
i9000 boot.tar - bootloader
Gingerbread rom through Odin
CM 7 again
CM 9
CF root
I have deleted everything known
dalvik cache data wipes repartitioned even deleted EFS and installed another generic one
still booting to recovery only, the only thing changed is the type of recovery... semaphore TWRP CM.
what am I missing?
Solved
Installed stock JVU rom using odin + repartition
then used CF root kernel
