the control panel placed right under the screen (where you're hw buttons are). This panel is a capacitive touch panel, which can be enabled with a few apps like gScroll or this app shown on youtube:

Is it possible to calibrate the touch screen for use with the s pen?
When using the pen my note seems to 'write' about 1-2mm above and slightly to the side of what i'm actually doing.
Makes things like drawing even reasonably accurate shapes/lines etc near impossible....

My note also does the same and mine every note does the same and unfortunately touch cannot be calibrated in any android device(I may be wrong though)

this is how to calibrate (read that several times in this forum and also works for me and other people:
enable auto rotate > open e.g. smemo in landscape view > draw sth with the pen and touch all the corners and edges with it > rotate back to portrait > now the pen should work accurately

I need to try this next time. When I had this problem I started the Note in recovery mode and wiped the cache. The pen then tracked fine again.
Hi, is there any suggestions on application that gives any functionality like the "Note" function on the Galaxy Note 10.1 or Galaxy Note II?
/Anders
Try freenote. Won't be as sensitive but it's a workable solution.
try this 1

with zeta rom v4 you can use the magnetic pen of Motorola.....magic! and with the pen you can use Asus supernote application.....
And to adjust your browser settings so that the screen settings is best to use the stylus, there is the application "touchScreenTune" store on google ...
It optimizes the pressure on the screen with a stylus
In Singha ROM there is very interesting note app - "SuperNote".

Do you have a link to the mototrola magnetic pen? Any info on how accurate it is. Could be a very interesting addition to this fantastic tablet!
Please make mod for sensitivity? I want to reduce the sensitivity to make it easier to write.
Or is there any program available for that?

You can use "Pimp My Z1" from the google play, You can turn this option on over there.
Alternatively You can use separate app: d-h.st/mZl (add http in front)
