International Nokia Lumia 920 on ATT?

Will the unlocked L920 work on ATT LTE network?
Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express
It should since At&t is the main GSM carrier in the US. However, LTE bands are different in Europe so there could be some discrepancy. But it would work on At&t. I believe even the international 900 works exactly th same, just not SIM carrier locked.

The international 900 does not have LTE support at all.
We'll have to wait and see on the 920 -- depends on the bands.
The lumia 920 does have late bands on board, but I am asking if those bands are compatible with att late bands.

does that mean that only 2100 LTE will work on the L920? or do you need both 1700/2100 to have LTE to work?
both frequencies are required. you probably wouldn't get 3G, either.
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums for devices/platforms that have them.
Thread moved.
GSM Arena has bad specs... don't go by Nokia's US site since it lists wrong specs as well (tailored to fit AT&T)

[Q] Looking to buy Moto X - have a couple of questions.

I am coming from Droid Incredible running CM 7.1 on PagePlus for 3 years (Verizon MVNO for those who don't know). So I am familiar with Android ecosystem and rooting.
I am looking to buy Moto X to be used in USA on H2O (AT&T MVNO) because on Pageplus the speed are limited to 3G and most new phones cannot be activated without flashing which I don't want to do.
1) Is there any reason NOT to buy Developer Edition (GSM Networks)? Current price is now the same as AT&T branded version and I am OK with just one color being available.
2) Am I correct in understanding that this version of the phone supports all LTE and HSPA frequencies both for AT&T and TMobile? Quote from the spec:
Networks
GSM/GPRS/EDGE - UMTS/HSPA + up to 42 Mbps - 4G LTE
2G/2.5G GSM/GPRS/EDGE bands
850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G UMTS bands
850/900/ AWS/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps (B5/B8/B4/B2/B1)
4G LTE bands
700/AWS/1900MHz (B17/B4/B2)
3) Are there any known issues with Moto X that has not been fixed with software updates yet? I am also considering Moto G which would be good enough for me but it has battery issues ("instant" drops from full charge to 1%) that are now investigated by Motorola but no solution yet. For Moto X so far I only found that some people have small cracks on their cases that are fixed by mailing it for warranty work.

[Q] Difference between versions

Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out the differences between versions of the Moto G 2014. So far I understand the following, could people correct my errors please?
XT1063
Single sim, 8GB, version with the below bands. Android L available OTA. Poor T-Mobile US coverage as lacking AWS 1700

UMTS 850, 2100, 1900, 1700
HSPA 850, 2100, 1900
XT1068

Yes we have 16GB version
http://www.flipkart.com/item/MOBDYGZ6SHNB7RFC
Xt1063 is single sim, and have and 16gb version, i have a xt1063 16gb single sim.
XT1068 is also sold in Germany, with firmware RETDE. The one from UK has firmware RETGB.
I wonder if those firmwares are freely interchangeable (without any side effects), also considering there's also RETALL version.
Hi, so I just bought a moto g 2nd gen from amazon (amazon.com) global gsm version, but they dont specify which model it is and I want to know if I will get ota update, I live in another country and the phone will take a while to be here so I cant see the model behind the batery :crying:
XT1069 is a brazilian variant fitted with 16Gb and digital TV support
Xt1068 in Brazil have just 8gb. And costs 270 bucks.
XT1068 is also sold in France 8gb with RETALL firmware

Mine is XT1063 and it's sigle SIM
I have both the xt1063 (bought from amazon when the US version was out of stock) and I also have the xt1064 (bought directly from Motorola, just received yesterday)
Both are single Sim versions here in the US, the xt1063 lacks the 1700 AWS band needed for HSPA+ on Tmo here in the states. Once I left the city my xt1063 would fall to edge...and frequently I was stuck with an almost useless "G" data icon. For the past two day I have been using the xt1064, my phone has not dropped out of HSPA+ even being 40 miles outside the city at home.
...for anyone in the US on the fence about buying this phone, wait for the US version...you will be much happier with the signal reception
I've updated the original post with your info, thanks guys.
So it seems the two models sold in the US are 1063 and 1064, both being single sim, which perhaps explains why nobody else has Android L yet.
I'm interested in the idea of a DVB-T tuner in the 1069, I wonder why that didn't make it worldwide. I also wish I could buy a 16gb version :/
Yesterday was announced the 4g version of Moto G, codename xt1078. Its ready to be launched here in a couple days.

Which models have unlocked bootloaders?

I'm trying to determine which models have the unlocked bootloader. I've heard that AT&T phones do not, but what about the Pure edition on Motorolas website?
This wasn't covered in the Q&A and to me this seemed like an important bit of information so that I may know what can be rooted.
I would also prefer model numbers so I know specifically what to buy and so that I may look into which frequency bands each models use after knowing which can be unlocked.
AFAIK I need the following bands for Cricket Wireless (or other AT&T plans)
3G: 850/1900MHz (bands 2, 5)
4G: 700/1700MHz (bands 4, 17), but may also be starting to utilize 1900MHz (band 2).
Pure Edition is the only one that is factory unlockable from Motorola. It is considered a developer device, meaning the bootloader can be unlocked/relocked without voiding the warranty. Pure Edition model number is xt1095.

I'm using it on AT&T with no issues. Some say they have 4G issues because of the bands AT&T uses, but I have great reception. It comes carrier unlocked, even though it is "for T-Mobile."

My current phone is using band 17, same as when I was 10 states across country as well. Don't think reception will be an issue, hopefully.
