Hi guys. I have a HTC One GPE and have not been able to get xposed to work at all. I have granted it permission in SuperSU but still no luck. All help is appreciated.
Post edit (edit button wasn't working)
Under app_process, it says it is not active once I restart.
Are you on stock kernel? I'm not sure if the kernel for GPe has write protection enabled or not... I would flash BulletProof and retry.

You can try BusyBox Installer by the developer JRummy Apps Inc, This one worked for me! Just press install and thats it.
I can't post the link but you can find it on the play store, just search for busybox and its usually the second one.
For those who have the same problem is becose the htc one has no permission for rw in to the system so if u wanna keep the stock kernel u can use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.timos.htconerw
To gain the rw permission and after u can use the busybox installer app in Google play

Thank you so much!
This worked for me on 4.2.2 (Australian phone - Telstra)
Sorry for reviving such an old thread. The above link is for an outdated app (I didn't bother trying it). It could still work.
This was the way I installed to my HTC One M7 International version.
However, here's another option for those of you wanting a fix. Use the "recovery" option in the installer; It'll reboot itself to recovery and flash a .zip of BusyBox. Worked for me. The app is called Busybox On Rails and can be found in the App Store.
I can't post a link, maybe a mod can add one or something...
Cheers
I unlocked my bootloader and installed a custom recovery. Then i intalled the supersu zip file and a custom rom. after that i found supersu and super user on my phone. Is it safe to uninstall one of them?
Yes it's safe to uninstall one of them but if you're not bothered which one you keep then I suggest uninstalling SuperSU.
I say that because I flashed back to a stock ROM a while ago and also flashed the provided rooting tools so that I could keep root access. Once I rebooted to stock, I installed SuperSU from the Play Store and decided to uninstall Superuser as I didn't need both of them on there.
Later that day I found out that I only had partial root access. I could use root apps like ROM Toolbox but I couldn't make any changes to /system.
In the end I reflashed the rooting tools so I could get Superuser back and everything worked perfectly again.
I'm not sure whether it was just a temporary problem with SuperSU or not but as long as you don't mind which you keep, that would be my advice

This happened because you flashed a stock ROM, with a stock kernel, which has write protection enabled.

I was on stock ROM but had faux kernel installed. I forgot to mention that in my post.

Haha nor me. See I knew about the write protection on stock kernel right away which is why I figured I'd be fine with faux but it still didn't want to work.
Luckily it all sorted itself out in the end so I'm back using SuperSU again

So I have this phone for a month now and have been trying roms... So if someone could help me here with a question. Is viperOne the only rom with a tweak app? Cause all other roms need to do stuff in aroma which is kinda boring and might cause problems..

Have you tried installing the xposed framework? Some nifty mods you can add with that.

Arhd has the sense 5 toolbox, gharrington also offers 3minit framework mods, seems like it's just getting started on the One, but on the s4 the options are unlimited

Viper is the best for Tweaking atm.
Because with a click you can tweaks all you want.
The toolbox need a flash from recovery, and if you don't like some thing, you have to reflash.
The xposed framework is another solution, but there isn't all the option that Viper give

The Sense 5 toolbox is installed as any other apk... it does not need to be flashed in recovery!
It is an Xposed module and like any other changes are made by selecting/deselecting options and any number of changes can be made without any need for re-flashing or re-installing.
Please don't provide the wrong information to other users.... as an RC you should know better.
Ok thanks for your opinions
I'll stick with viperOne which has basically anything a user can need.

Sorry, when i saw it, i saw a zip file, so, maybe i'm remebering wrong
And, however, the toolbox have a fewer number of tweaks
I've tried multiple times to install Viper4Android FX drivers on HTC One 4.3 ROMs without luck, always installation fails. First, after upgrading a couple of weeks ago to stock ROM from original 4.2 and later rooting and using ViperOne 4.3 version. Anyone have the same problem? The problem could be that R/W option is not available or not working properly on those 4.3 ROMs? Any 4.3 ROM with working V4A?
Flash a kernel which supports system r/w, like bulletproof, elementalx, teaMseven

Thanks, I´ll try that and revert back with results.
That worked like a charm, only thing I noticed is the r/with option will not be permanently enable, but you certainly need to enable it before installing v4a drivers.

Hey guys
In using my nephews m7 as a backup phone as my note 3 died.
I'm on the latest updates, 5.0.2 and I'm rooted. My first root app is always adaway but it doesn't seem to be working correctly. I tell it to apply, it does and reboots but when I open the app up again it says it's disabled. It just doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?
Also is xposed working for the m7 on 5.0.2?
Thanks

I know its not much help, but I have a rooted M7 and adblockplus and adaway dont seem to block any ads for me. I googled it a while ago and lots of other people said the same thing.
Have you had it workig on other rooted devices?
Yeah I've got it running on my tablet with no issues. Strange.
Also anyone know how to install busybox on the m7. I've tried a few apps with no luck. Never had this many issues.
