I've tried multiple times to install Viper4Android FX drivers on HTC One 4.3 ROMs without luck, always installation fails. First, after upgrading a couple of weeks ago to stock ROM from original 4.2 and later rooting and using ViperOne 4.3 version. Anyone have the same problem? The problem could be that R/W option is not available or not working properly on those 4.3 ROMs? Any 4.3 ROM with working V4A?
Flash a kernel which supports system r/w, like bulletproof, elementalx, teaMseven

Thanks, I´ll try that and revert back with results.
That worked like a charm, only thing I noticed is the r/with option will not be permanently enable, but you certainly need to enable it before installing v4a drivers.

Hi guys
I was wondering if I can remove the bloatwares with titanium backup Permanently with s-off. As with s-on all the bloatwares restore once I restart the phone.
These bloatwares are bothering me. But I wanna keep the stock Rom.
Thank you

Search for Rom cleaner ver1.4
that will do it without S off
You don't need s-off, just root. Select in TB and tap Uninstall.

You apparently don't have /system r/w access. What rom and firmware are you on?
Everything stock. I only have root
Ok I'm done trying. I will just flash viperone or maximumhd as I like Rom that offers ota updates
Thx

The stock kernel has system write protection enabled. Flash flar2's bulletproof kernel and then titanium will work.

Hi guys. I have a HTC One GPE and have not been able to get xposed to work at all. I have granted it permission in SuperSU but still no luck. All help is appreciated.
Post edit (edit button wasn't working)
Under app_process, it says it is not active once I restart.
Are you on stock kernel? I'm not sure if the kernel for GPe has write protection enabled or not... I would flash BulletProof and retry.

So I have this phone for a month now and have been trying roms... So if someone could help me here with a question. Is viperOne the only rom with a tweak app? Cause all other roms need to do stuff in aroma which is kinda boring and might cause problems..

Have you tried installing the xposed framework? Some nifty mods you can add with that.

Arhd has the sense 5 toolbox, gharrington also offers 3minit framework mods, seems like it's just getting started on the One, but on the s4 the options are unlimited

Viper is the best for Tweaking atm.
Because with a click you can tweaks all you want.
The toolbox need a flash from recovery, and if you don't like some thing, you have to reflash.
The xposed framework is another solution, but there isn't all the option that Viper give

The Sense 5 toolbox is installed as any other apk... it does not need to be flashed in recovery!
It is an Xposed module and like any other changes are made by selecting/deselecting options and any number of changes can be made without any need for re-flashing or re-installing.
Please don't provide the wrong information to other users.... as an RC you should know better.
Ok thanks for your opinions
I'll stick with viperOne which has basically anything a user can need.

And, however, the toolbox have a fewer number of tweaks
Hi,
my wife got her new HTC One with Vodafone-ROM. I rooted the phone (no new ROM, still using Vodafone-ROM), uninstalled the bloat-apps (Titanium Pro) and installed and activated AdAway. For the first look, everything works fine.
But after a reboot the boat-apps are back and AdAway is disabled again.
How can that be? What can I do? Could there be an "auto-install" function in the Vodafone-ROM? Do I have to install a custom ROM?
Thx Nem.

it's because the stock kernels have write protection
flash custom kernel and you'll have it

I can make and receive calls but I can't hear anything and the person on the other end can't hear me. I Jude updated profile and did PRL from settings. I flashed the 1.01.20.0515 radios as that's what I found a while back and still nothing. This is what I'm currently running. Any help would be great.
Im having the exact same problem. My phone looks very similar to yours also ._.
Anyone have any possible help outside of a RUU?
I'm having the same issue. What ROM are you running and have you tried a new rom? - Nevermind, I just saw your picture. Same thing as me.
I just updated firmware and still have zero sound input/output during calls.
Running latest Viper Rom.
Gonna try newest TN GPE rom so ill report back.
Ok thank you.

The issue is with Google play services. This has happened with different roms and even completely stock phones.
Sent from my kangaroo powered Inverted ViperONE using Tapatalk 2
So is the only way to fix it change roms or redownload play services?

Did what I suggested a few posts back not resolve the issue? My call audio has been fine since yesterday morning, after it not working at all for about a week.

Nope...I cleared dalvik and cache and still nothing. I'm trying the CM12 build right now.
EDIT: And now calling works just fine with a different ROM. What's the deal with that?

How could Google play services affect our ability to send/receive call audio?

I faced the same problem. That Playstore fix didn't help me& i've found this simple fix.Just flash latest firmware & that's all.

Just flash Modified Firmware w/ Radio....removed hboot, boot, recovery (fastboot flashable)

Not sure, that's what I've read in all the threads about this issue.

Posted a fix here. It's a temp fix until something official comes along, but it works and it doesn't break anything else.
HTC support resolved
Hi. Same problem last week. Htc support had me do some stuff but phone audio was fixed after uninstalling skype. He said to uninstall all messeging programs but i did skype since that was the latest update. It was working for a few days without issue but broke today. Not sure which app with audio capabilities updated and broke phone audio again. Trying to uninstall other programs. No luck so far.
update...uninstalling apps with call capabilities didn't work. but i uninstalled htc update from last thursday as some have suggested and that worked.
After a few days of calls working with just wiping dalvik/cache it stopped working.... Did the disable service fix and calls working again.
