Hi there, hope that someone i willing to help me.
I have some problems with installing the new update through OTA or SONY PC Companion.
I even tried to use the repair function in PC Companion, but it fails too. What i figured out is that the phone fails when it are going into the flash mode.
The phone was rooted, had unlocked bootloader, CWM and used the Taylor_Swift Rom. After that i flashed a Generic Rom using Flashtool and now i have these problems.
Any suggestions ?

Hi!
You'll need to have stock recovery and I think preferably an unrooted device.

Oh, I read generic stock rom so I though you flashed it via cwm. I guess you can check by going into recovery.

Thanks for the help
I figured the problem out after reading the description of "EMMA"
When you flash a generic rom through flashtool your unlocked bootloader keeps unlocked. Therefore i was'nt able to update or repair my software.
I relocked my bootloader. guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191907
Now OTA, Pc companion and SEUS is working.

I recently got my HTC one and unlocked the bootloader and rooted it. Now I got the ota update from HTC so I flashed back to stock recovery, and tried to install. The update starts fine but after the install bar indicator reaches about 1/4 it shows a red triangle over a phone and refuses to update. Please help.

I meant AT&T. Shoot.
I have Tampered/Relocked/Security Warning on the phone atm. I though I downgraded the boot.img right but then decided just to reflash the stock RUU. I guess I'll reach out to him then.
For AT&T you can grab the RUU straight from HTC's support site.
I must have missed it then

You only need the old boot.img. Apply the latest RUU and then fastboot flash the boot.img from the first OTA.

Got it. I was thinking of you using it to flash CWM which seems to be better compatible with the ROM zips:
http://androidfiles.org/?developer=MystUL&folder=Stock_Roms
after the ROM is installed you can flash back to TWRP, if desired.

So I rooted my One and installed a stock Android 4.3 ROM. Occasionally I get a notification for an update which then just takes me right to TWRP recovery. Should I be concerned I'm not getting an update, or just ignore it?

This was the first ROM I flashed on my T and as far as I can remember it ran perfectly. Which ROM were you coming from? Unless you're flashing a nightly then you should do a full wipe, especially if you're going from ROMs where there will be major changes.
Well you should have man, it is recommended to avoid most issues

i was unlocked, rooted, and running a custom rom. I attempted to return phone to stock using windroid toolkit. The phone booted into fastboot and was relocked. However, it will not go out of fastboot screen No Recovery, nothing!! Toolkit isnt recognizing phone when i try rebooting , recovery, etc. Perhaps something is missing or was deleted? I have until 8pm tonight to return and would love to get this running. Any help is truly appreciated. Thanks.

So why not use ADB and flash a recovery?

You fastboot flash recovery. Not adb.

Ummm, if your really having a ton of trouble fixing this you could get teamviewer and pm me the info and I can fix it for you.
But basically you want to make sure you have up to date ADB/fastboot ext and power on the phone into fastboot connect to your PC and the command you type is fastboot flash recovery (recoverynamehere).img then boot into recovery and probably the easiest thing would be to put a Rom on an SD card and flash from there, if not sideload a Rom.
Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
i'm guessing since you relocked the bootloader you'll have to flash the unlock.bin again otherwise the bootloader wont let you flash a new recovery. Once the bootloader is unlocked again and recovery is re-installed you could sideload a rom and be back in business
