My hd7 model no is PD29100. But when i am going in bootloader SPL mode it is showing wrong model id as
SCHU100 MFG SS-BC (4K)
SPL - 1.57.2250.0(113571)
MicroP(LED) 0X07
TOUCH S1(v1.8,#1624)
now the problem is that my phone start it stuck at hp logo mode and show msg
BLDR 1.57.2250
MODEM N/A
I tried to install RSPL 3rd generation which support SCHU100 device but after installing RSPL it give successful message but my device doest reboot and it when I manually reboot it shows SPL 1.57 only.
When I try to install rom through RUU it gives error invalid model id.
Please help.
Goldcard method
you are using the traditional method which only works if you have the a valid RUU (Carrier ID)
The goldcard method can flash any HD7 rom(AT&T, O2, Unbranded, etc.) into your HD7...

I got stuck in bootloader (Tri-Color)screen with KAIS130 SPL-3.29.HArd i`m not able to boot the OS ... I have installed the
Dutty_s_WM6.1_Official_UC_5.2.19199_RTM__nocube with Radio 1.65.16.25,
i did the HardSPL and still i cannot boot the os cause of the bootloader..
Also i`m trying to 'boot' via mtty.exe but it says command error, it responds
only "task 8" but it stops and cannot write nothing else (device reboots in
bootloder mode)... Is there a way to make my kaiser work ? Cannt unlock
cant change the SPL.

i'm new and i'm trying to flash my HTC HD7.
I'm following this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1295068.
My bootloader was of type 5.x.x, then I try to downgrade using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411904. This throws an error (270 if I remember), and now I have:
Os Version: 7.0.7004.0
Bootloader: 1.57.2250.0.
Now if I try to run the tool for the RSPL, I can't find the 1.57, so I use 1.56; after the procedure my phone did't reboot with the RSPL installed. Same thing if I try 1.60.
Can I do something?

Ok I found my error.
With a bootloader of type 5.10.xx you must to:
Put the phone in tricolor mode (volume down + power on)
Install the SLSPL from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411904
The phone reboot in tricolor mode with something like SPL-1.57.xxx
Install this RUU http://search.4shared.com/postDownload/kXXbn7HR/RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_169401.html
Now you can use DFT from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16189671&postcount=1 ( I use the g2)
The phone reboot with something like RSPL
Install the rom you want.

i have a little problem with my htc hd7. when tried to upgrade my wp 7.5 to wp 7.8 my bootloader locked so i cant connect my phone in mod bootloader and cant install rom.
now apear in mod bootloader this mensage :" unlocking bootloader" and the word in botoom of display "serial" its gone
what can i do to solve this problem??

Use the Goldcard method, install any ROM with a bootloader below v5.
Then use Cotulla's RSPL
Then boot into boot loader mode (color bands) poewr up with the volume down pressed.
Use Deepshining to get WP7.8.

Your device is small/semi bricked.
You can use the goldcard method to fix your HD7 and downgrade the SPL from 5.xxx to at or below 3.xxx (which is required to install XSPL)
The goldcard method requires - 1gb to 2gb SD card, card reader, Y cable (either homemade or purchased online) and you have to download a Pre-NoDo or NoDo rom, goldcard tool and the goldcard image.
You flash the drive while it's in USB host mode (not bootloader mode)
To enter USB host mode - Power off the device - press and hold down - the volume down button and camera button together and power on the device while continuing to hold down the vol down and camera button. The device will go to a screen that says"Enter USB Host Mode...."
These are the steps -
1. Flash the device using the goldcard method. (This will repair the damaged bootloader and downgrade the SPL)
2. Install XSPL = RSPL and HSPL (the devices SPL has to be at or below 3.xxx to install XSPL to avoid damaging the bootloader)
3. Flash the custom rom of your choice via bootloader mode

I wanted to flash my winphone 7 with a custom ROM. I tried several things as I had no idea overall. This included some DFT executables and some RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_xxxxx.exe files.
As none of them were working, I tried to find out why and just figured out, I was using the wrong files to update my phone. As I now have the right file (RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_5.10.401.04_SLSPL_Signed_ by_ansar.zip) that could patch my phone, one of the earlier files has broken my SPL somehow.
When I boot into the bootloader (vol down) the part at the bottom with the white background doesn't show the connection method anymore at all.
It doesn't even say serial when not connected via USB cable. Is my phone broken now? Meaning can I not flash it anymore?
My Windows 7 also does not recognize the phone while in bootloader mode. Before, every time I attached the phone via USB cable in bootloader mode it recognized it...

you MUST use the gold card method it's the only way, My phone was like yours, I searched and read about it, gold card, XSPL, and done custom roms.
