The latest build everything works besides headphones and ART kills root... Plug in headphones and the system will hang up and reboot when listening to any type of audio its a really crazy bug and ART kills root everything gets denied

gottria, did your data work out of the box or did it take any coersion? I'm on 11/13 and on the newest modem but no data. wifi works fine, flashed KT kernel but all that did was make my back/menu/volume buttons work, and made my sd card not read... everything else works just fine.

@Willie68wr Not sure yet I really want to go back on CM 11 because its soo smooth and fluid but Netflix for some reason there's a rendering issue cause like a greyish tint over the bottom part of the movies thats the killer for me. The headphone bug and ART bug is not a issue its the netflix Bug lol I watch a lot of movies on my S4

I've got this same bug with Netflix. But as far as headphone bug, I haven't had any using my headphones. I've been listening to music all day with my headphones and no bugs have occurred. Can we expect nightly experimental builds? I was checking out the site the builds are on and most were posted nightly, will the same be happening for this one to?

Thanks! Downloading now.
Edit- wiped everything you said, won't boot. Shows the white incredible screen, then goes black.
Edit 2- works now!
Version 1.3 is now up.
Fixed the boot animation and changed it to the GNexus boot animation.
Also baked in Beats Audio as well.
Panoramic camera is force closing.
Everything else is so far fast and no issues.
does the Camera work on normal mode? How bout MMS, GPS? I just left ICS cuz of the bugs n reboots, skeptic to come back.
Thanks for the New Rom!!
Everything works - only thing that doesn't work is the panoramic camera. This is the best ICS ROM I've used for the Incredible.
So far everything's good. Haven't checked the panoramic camera out yet. But still the fastest ICS rom I've ran on my Dinc to date. Seems decently stable, but that would need days of testing in stead of one hour
Good job dev!
Edit: panorama immediately FC's bummer. And on my device the video doesn't record, it loads up and everything just fine. But when I press the record button the red button does its little animation, and doesn't start a timer like its recording. Also had another weird tick where the app said that it couldn't connect to the camera.
Reboot and wipe dalvik I guess

i took a liberty to look inside the zip that you flashed.. when you have issues later on(random reboots, etc. theres lots of potential for conflict in that zip), just reflash your rom(and gapps), no need to wipe.

All these lag eradicating solutions might do more harm than good. The better solution is to try a custom kernel or tomorrow rather than toy with these less than technically fundamented placebos.

The former, I saw it too when I had an S3. I read it before.
It's less damaging to your battery life compared to Seeder and less placebo than supercharger but it's more intrusive and it messes around with this that are not the source of lags/issues
Most likely it keeps i/o or cpu less in idle state so it performs better, but has a cost in the long run.
Kernels are a much better approach and frankly I had zero lag issues with this phone.
Sent from my BN NookHD+ using Tapatalk 4 Beta
jfi .....kernels mess with governor settings too.
I have the Octa S4 and I have flashed this too, I am using one older version though but it does indeed make your phone somewhat a lot smoother, animation and scrolling, but i'm selling the S4 and returning back to Nexus (S4 Price = Nexus 4 + Nexus 7 Second Gen (?))

My nexus 7 is not smooth at all!

Hey, my nexus 7 doesn't feel smooth at all. The UI feels choppy and games are lagging, even my brother iphone 3 feels smoother :crying:
I have rooted, overclocked, custom launcher etc but STILL it feels laggy, how can i solve the problem? i have latest jellybean 4.3
Try doing a clean install of 4.3 and using a different kernel.

I personally use M-Kernel. But my two favorite kernels are M-Kernel and FrancoKernel. Both can be found in the Nexus 7 Original Development section.
You should install CM 10.1.2.
Everything seems to work and my Nexus 7 is faster than ever. I was running Paranoid Android and it was laggy as hell.

Disable Halo.
If you're running stock 4.3, disable Google currents. This is a tried and tested fix that should fix any choppiness.
If the problem still persists, follow what veeman said and try using other kernels

Isn't this generally the same with all devices?
For example, completely fill up your computer's hard drive and test how laggy it is compared to when it had nothing but the OS installed.

MJA update: Have you made the jump? What are the differences? Do you think it's worth

Just a general post to see if those of you who got the update to work, if you really think it's worth it? Is it one step forward, two steps back? Are you happy that you updated or sorry you did? No, this post isn't necessarily a question post, just one to get people's opinions on the update in one place and not scattered between a few threads. Mods, if you feel this is redundant, that's fine. I'm just trying to generate some activity and input from the users on the update.
I did it and it seems a lot smother. But then I cf-autorooted and restored a nandroid of carbon rom. Don't know why but I seem to get better service.

Agreed. The 3G icon looks aweful!!!

You can update and keep root... I odined back to mf9 and used cf auto root to gain root access back. I then went into superSU and checked survival mode(keeps root even after ota). After that I downloaded the update and put it on my sd card. Once there I went into stock recover uodated from sdcard and now I have 4.3 still rooted.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I have a nasty habit of starting to use a ROM immediately before a developer quits the effort to keep it up. I hope you stay active in pushing out updates. If so, I, for one, would be happy to send a modest donation your way for you time and hope others would join me.
