Anyway now my phone won't start, it will turn on and but it gets stuck on the Samsung Logo, I booted it into recovery mode, wiped cache, user data and rebooted but it was still stuck on the Samsung logo. How do I fix my phone from here??
Have you installed the drivers on your pc?
64 bit - http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/MOBILES/Samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-S-USB-Driver-for-Windows-x64.shtml
32 bit - http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/MOBILES/Samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-S-USB-Driver-for-Windows-x86.shtml
Install the driver and then try again
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
check if kies is running.. close it from task manager... run odin as admin.. aslo before flashing again.. you need to power off and reboot into download mode
Thank you!!
Thanks, that's what I hadn't done, install the drivers. All working good now and have to say its great to finally have jellybean on it!

2. How to flash any rom using Odin
3. Usefull tricks and answers
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42309905
Here hubix guide (how to flash a rom via Odin) where you can get drivers, the correct Odin version for Ace 4.38
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034145?
And here the official website where you can get official firmwares for your Ace (choose your country if you want, but it's not neccessary )
www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-S5830&pcode=0#firmware
PD: After flashing a fresh stock using Odin, reboot into recovery and do wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition in order to skip the bootloop (just in case )
Boot into recovery mode: HOLD HOME + POWER BUTTON UNTIL YOUR MOBILE BOOTS INTO RECOVERY
I have a note 5 SM-N920C (vietnam model). My phone is stuck at "An error has occured while updating the device software. blla blla blla"). The thing is that i cannot use smart switch or kies because i have an international model and it is not supported. I tried to flash stock firmware (SM-N920C) via odin v10.6 but it was not vietnamese, its from Cambodia. It failed to flash and got me stuck in here for days trying to figure it out.

Get the needed firmware HERE (Sammobile.com)
The site also provides a newer ODIN version (3.10.6 is out of date)
You will need to register with a valid email to download files from Sammobile.com
And don't be afraid about the download speed as its 300KB/s for free accounts (Not 15KB/s as mentioned)
I think i had the same problem and it was because i was using a lower update and different region rom ! U must flash the exact rom as it's on your phone

Nah , I'm going to send it to Samsung to see if they can fix it. I think something is wrong with the bootloader.

It doesnt say any specific error, its weird. And everytime it started flashing at around 10 percent it would stop.
