you may loose touchscreen functionality in 4.1.2, because your firmware is already updated to 2.24.401.1

So it's better to keep 4.3 and try multirom with some aops rom

why would you want to go back to 4.1.2 anyways? I would stick with a 4.2.2 or 4.3 ROM

coz Garmin StreetPilot works only on 4.1

ah ok, so if you want to go back to 4.1.2, you'll have to do the following (easy since S-Off):
Get yourself a full RUU.exe from here: http://www.htc1guru.com/downloads/ruu-file-downloads/
Maybe this one (if your MID matches): http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...1-27_10-31-1131-05_release_310878_signed-exe/
this will downgrade everything back to stock 1.28.401.7 (it will also wipe your phone !!!)
and then you can use any 4.1.2 ROM, with working touchscreen

that's only if you get error 155 while running the ruu, but your hboot is 1.54 so you should be OK, the problem started with hboot 1.55 if i'm not mistaken.

ok,one more question is this relocked my bootloader and will I lose my custom recovery

1- you're s-off, no need to relock bootloader AFAIK
2- yes you will loose everything, you'll need to flash recovery back with fastboot.

10x I'll try

[Q] Downgrading Stock and Recovery touch unresponsive.. Please help!

So friends, Need help on this.
Got a new HTC ONE. updated ota to 2.24 / 4.2.2
hboot 1.54 - son
unlocked the bootloader
now the issue is, cwm touch and twrp touch don't work at all. the touch is absolutely unresponsive in recovery mode.
tried through normal cwm which works fine, but installing a custom rom with aroma gives the same issue.
Have been trying to downgrade to stock 1.29 so that i can go back to hboot 1.44 after relocking the device but it says bootloader signature failed.
any help or advice on either how to downgrade to hboot 1.44 or make the recovery responsive again.
please help, thank you!

You can't downgrade your Hboot when you're S-On ... I'm not even sure if you can when you're S-Off. The problem is not what OS or Hboot you are on, it's the version of TWRP or CWM. What version have you installed? You need the latest version in order for it work as touch drivers were updated in the latest firmware. You have the same OS and Hboot as me and touch works fine in the latest version ... Make sure you have this version installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173870
Everything works fine on that as I have the same OS and Hboot as you.

All you can do is flash your backup, restore the stock recovery and flash the OTA. You CANNOT S-OFF every unless they break the 1.54 HBOOT (or you pay a shop to do it for you)

ROMs don't touch your Hboot, that is why you can run 4.3 based ROMs on 4.2.2 ... Only an OTA or manually fastbooting the firmware would change your Hboot. Checking your bootloader will tell you this. Mine is what it says in my signature, yet I'm running a 4.3 based ROM.

Hi, I have a HTC ONE 802W Rooted with Maximus HD 1.0.2 running 4.2.2 and i am S-ON, H-Boot 2.23.000
i would like to have "S-OFF" what will be the best & safest way to have a "S-OFF" ?
1. Do i need to downgrade back to 4.1.2 and than try to "S-OFF" ?
2. is it just o flash a 4.1.2 ROM or should i downgrade also the H-BOOT to a lower version ? if yes, how ?
Any one who can help me with the info & a guide is appreciated.

With the s-on is impossible do a downgrade...
So you have to found a javacard for the s-off or try the new method that will arrive when htc will release the new update

Not at the moment. Your only option would be to purchase a Java card or certain sites offer a service where you send your phone too the.
Apart from that monitor the HTC One general sub and wait really. I am in the same boat as yourself. Just got to be paitient

[Q] How to go back to stock O2

Hello.
I have HTC One which had O2 customisations and I really wanted to get rid of them.
I unlocked bootloader on HTCdev site, installed custom recovery and flashed Android Revolution HD v30.
I couldn't get S-Off since I am on HBOOT 1.54
Now, since there is rumrunner for HBOOT 1.54, I want to install stock rom, change CID to Developer so I can have latest updates, but I didn't backup my stock firmware.
Is there any way to go stock, run rumrunner, change CID and update OTA?
HTC ONE
Android Revolution HD v30 (4.3)
Kernel 3.4.10-gd6f147e
Baseband 4A.17.3250.14_10.39.1150.04L
Build number 3.57.401.500
HBOOT 1.54.000
CID : O2___001
Thank you all in advance!

can you do fastboot getvar mainver for me please????
---------- Post added at 03:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:02 PM ----------
firstly you don't need a stock o2 rom (the unbranded one will do) it is dependant on your firmware. so:
firstly do fastboot getvar mainvar
if you get 2.24.206.7 as a result (i did)
flash the stock rom in the link below
downlaod the FIXED 2.24.401.8 tool from the rumrunner website
disable antiviris and firewall on pc and make sure u meet all the prerequisites on the rumrunner website
Run the tool
hit thanks if s off
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23060877489999966
Everything worked as you said. Now I have superCID, installed developer ROM, S-Off (thanks to rumrunner).
Thank you!

I think you will need to restore to a CID thats getting the updates and you will also need to install stock recovery. Beautiful thing about s off is that u can set your CID to the one that first receives the update

[Q] OS Upgrade M7UL

Hi all, I´ve got the following problem. HTC One m7ul, OS Version 2.24.401.1, HBOOT 1.54.0000, Radio 4A.23.3263.28, S-ON, Unlocked, TWRP 2.6.3.3, Cyanogenmod 10.2.1.
What I wanted to do now is switch to a newer firmware, but I don´t now how to do that exactly.
What do I need to flash to get the most current OS (In my opinion this is 4.19.401.8), where I got two files from, one from here:
http://xda7.androidrevolution.nl/db_mirror/ROMs/HTC_One/Stock/Flash_recovery_4.19.401.8.rar (seems like recovery only)
and the other one is: http://xda7.androidrevolution.nl/db_mirror/Firmware/HTC/HTC_One/401/4.19.401.8.zip
Main issue I have is that LTE speed is max 8Mbit/sec... and though I´m S-ON I don´t know how to update the current firmware without bricking my phone...
Thanks in advance

Thanks, but that´s why I was asking...
In what order do I need to do what step? I was reading a lot but I´m unsure how this procedure can be done.
Going back to stock 2.24.401.1 (How can that be done since I don´t find any 2.24.401.1 RUU)
unlock again
S-off if possible
OTA to newest FW
flash recovery
flash ondroid Backup
Could that be the way?
Thanks
