Battery drain is extreme. I was on 40% and after 2 hours it went to 15% with almost no use.
Google sync also doesn't work. Couldn't get my contacts loaded, nor my gmail.

I confirm battery drain, even in the last nightly (12-09).
Compared to 10.2 ROM, I have a less efficient wifi signal.

FWIW, Each released CM11 nightly has been identical except for the build number. No changes have been committed to that tree.

Sorry
Turns out I was misled -- there have been changes, but BBQLog is broken for the CM11 side. Oddly even with the addition of Whisperpush, the zip size listed on get.cm has hardly changed over the past week.
Someone was kind enough to point out an alternative: http://www.cmxlog.com/11/mint which shows lots-o-changes. Looks like I'll be downloading this soon to check it out.

So have you tried it?
Any impressions?

have to flash gapps by cm as it work best with cm rom, also the google contact cannot sync, i have the best battery life ever after flashing to cm11, maybe because i disable the apps that i don't use, ART still cannot use as it is completely incompatible with gapps:crying:

In latest nightly if you use other music player instead of Apollo the equalizer force close when switching songs. Do you have this bug?

[DISCUSSION] CM 10.1 for Xperia T

This is a general discussion thread for "Cyanogen Mod 10.1 (CM10.1)" for the Sony Xperia T (LT30p)
Development thread here
I started this thread as there are some differences between CM10 and CM10.1. The aim for it is to disucss CM 10.1 for Xperia T roms, to ask questions, share knowledge or just state an opinion - so long as you are not inconsiderate, condescending or outright rude - anything goes! Just follow XDA rules.
Be aware that at at this stage CM 10.1 is work in progress and the build available is still a test build. I don't think that the ROM developers will follow this thread regularly so any questions to them might not be answered here

HDMI is not working for me... it was working in CM 10 so I don't think my MHL convertor is the issue (tried on both TV sets I have at home). For sure it's phone related because I cannot charge through the MHL adapter. Is there any setting that I need to do in the phone that I'm missing?
NFC works, I tested with an HTC One X yesterday excanging links, contacts, addresses and pictures
Thanks,

Battery
I noticed that battery is draining quite fast, see attachement
Voice calls was only 25 minutes and screen 1h and 20 minutes (with 50% brightenss). Same settings with CM 10 or stock ROM my battery was available 16 - 18 hours
Few force closes on Chrome.
Sometimes my files seem to disappear. (Happened yesterday with a video, and later with several images)

Is this interflashable with the Xperia Tx LT29i?

Should be, as there is no baseband/modem/radio firmware included.
Wouldnt worry too much, if you **** up you can always flash back to stock or CM10 using fastboot or flashmode.

No, CM10.1 is not released, it's a I-am-so-nice-you-may-have-a-preliminary-look-at-how-we-progress-but-we-are-still-not-nearly-done kind of release by the FXP group. Feedback is not endorsed (as mentioned earlier) and instructions definitely do NOT exist, apart from being identical with CM10.
As soon as you see 10.1 builds appear on get.cm you may pose your question again, before that it has to be looked at as - probably best described as - "internal project"...

No replys?...
Cm (02/07) + Optimus Prime V1.9. I use cm because it's (IMO) the best way to enjoy the android experience. Also because all the mods are compatible with cm.
The reason i use this kernel is because of the performance/battery life.
Cheers
Stock v20a Euro with stock kernel I deleted some applications that come preinstaled and now everything is fine.Using stock because i like LG UI 3 and because i didnt yet installed CWM If anuyone can recomend guild how to instal CWM (best version for our phone) please do so
P.S. mine 20a Euro is unlocked and rooted.
Zaiben ROM and eternity project kernel, best performance and battery life, first time that I don't need to lower the graphics of real racing 3 to ir run lag free, also first time that I run butterly smooth mc4 and 10 hours sleeping with only 8% drop

well, I used to enjoy playing some Tegra games on it, but I just hope there's something to smoothen the performance and enhance the battery life as it is now still very disappointing.
I'm currently running V20A rooted still with locked bootloader ( I believe ). I have frozen several LG apps (if not all), and the battery life is still disappointing.

Umm? So you play 38 hours with screen off? Including 30 hours without battery? Wow -- would you mind sharing that trick?
This is a really useful thread indeed, as one can not only learn which ROMs are available but also how stable/battery-saving etc. they are. What I'm still missing are the links to the ROMs sources. Would be great if you could include them! Thanks

Great battery performance depends on personal use....for me it is also okay
The nightly 20130903 is working fine for me, camera works really well and fast !

I've been using ART for a week now. Have a lot of apps, business, productivity, even third party's, but no games. I must say that I haven't had any single crash or malfunction and the system is amazingly fast and stable. I'm on stock 4.4 though. Never thought to go back to dalvik.

Same here. ART has been working fine for me as well. I don't know that I really notice it being a lot faster but it sure doesn't appear any slower either. I believe Titanium Backup, which I use, had an issue as well but a THINK they have issued an update for that.
Xposed (and thus gravitybox ) are not art compatible yet. I'll switch when that changes
Sent from my XT1058 using Tapatalk
I haven't switched to ART on my Moto X yet because I generally treat me phone as needing to be stable all the time. I did switch to ART on my Nexus 7, though, and most apps worked just fine. My Yahoo Sports app experiences a very long delay (~5 seconds) when I try to look at any individual game stats for the first time after I open the app.
My NFL Sunday Ticket app also doesn't appear to be as stable, sometimes force closing which I didn't usually get before, but I haven't done back-to-back testing to see if it's actual cause/effect.
Good to know. Im using Gravitybox and i have noticed the performance slowed down a bit. But nothing important.

I just switched to ART last night on my moto x and am having the same experience you detail. If an app is already open, its lightening fast to respond/open back up. But some apps when opening for the first time take longer than they did on dalvik. Facebook for instance, takes nearly twice as long to initially open.
Tip (if you havent already) - under developer options, change the window, transition and animator duration to .5 seconds (down from 1 second). Its literally instantaneous moving between apps and such.
Anyone having issues with switching to ART? Every time I pick the ART option, the phone reboots and just reverts back to Dalvik. This is on a Moto X Dev. Edition.
I switched to apps and I think I noticed things going smoother and faster (scrolling and opening-switching apps). But that just might be the placebo effect at work.
Then WhatsApp stopped working so I had to switch back to dalvik

[MOD] [SHARE] [PROJECT DARK BOOSTER] ABS Tweaks V5.0

Hello all i never used any performance mod or tweaks in my oneplus one as it has lot a powerful processor and Ram.
I used these types of mods when i was using low ram devices like Samsung Galaxy s advance.
But then i thought to use this mod with OPO. Flashed yesterday and i can really say this is working good.
I am using RRM rom with lots of mods from xposed and xtreamemusic music as well.
I doesn't feel any lag previously but touch response is some what low and scrolling is bit slower and laggy in some apps. Some app opening very slow.
But after flashing this mod i am feeling phone is more smoother, ui is buttery smooth and battery is also draining at low speed ( battery is yet to taste).
So what is this mod....
This is combinations of all battery tweaks, kernel tweaks and build prop tweaks, which makes phone super smooth in every aspect with good battery life.
After flashing mod, go to terminal eliminator and type
su
ABS
And u will see all commands follow them and reboot u r phone thats it.
And plz give feedback...
